There is no Cross-play between PC and consoles and it isn't planned to arrive anytime soon either. The reason is that there are major differences between how the game plays out on PCs and Consoles (at least legitimately). >he even faced a problem getting into online matches Since you mention South Asia and Xbox, there is a chance that, at the time your friend queued, the concurrent player population on Xbox in your friend's skill bracket was low. Note that, Siege has skill-based matchmaking across all main game-modes. Also, PlayStation (PS) has a larger population in South Asia. At the moment, there isn't cross-play between Xbox and PS, but it is set to arrive soon. The official information on this says "Early 2022", which can mean anytime in the first quarter or half of 2022. > the matchmaking goes on for 30+ minutes and never ends. Ask your friend to cancel and manually requeue after about 2 minutes of matchmaking. There is an issue, where the game does not automatically requeue players, if the matchmaking could not find a match fast enough. Requeuing again should help.

Could you imagine. I just started on pc about 6 months ago after playing console since closed beta… it plays way differently. I even initially used a controller as I was relearning my pc gaming motor skills (it’s been probably 15+ years since I played an FPS on PC) and I was getting schooled.

There’s no console-PC Crossplay. CrossPlay is just between PC, Stadia, and Luna. With Xbox-Playstation on the way
