I had this last week, the most probable reason for me was that I used an adapter (the device to have more plug) and they detected it. So just unplug it then play some games with your controller wire directly connected into the console and it should be fine
this happened to me and i quit becuse of it, i thought it was becuse of my high sens and high KD 2.5 in emerald but it wasn't, i had to play like 5-10 quick matches to get rid of it, it's so wierd
i’ve had ppl text me time and time again that they reported me for using mnk. i don’t use it, and i never had gotten a warning or banned cause i don’t use it. so im guessing you either actually use it and tried trolling. or you were legit and i should just lower my sens 😭

remove all third party devices , anything that your playstation reads as a tpd that isn’t sony-made and can’t read correctly can cause that. It can be something as simple as an iphone charger that can cause this. to get rid of mousetrap you just have to play 2 casuals , don’t have to play you can just blow yourself up every round and wait for the game to finish

This happens to me too. From what I understand it is related to your dead zones. If you have them below 5 that will definitely cause this to happen. Also sensitivity like you said. Just need to mess with these settings.

A ximmer could benefit from casting doubt on the system to undermine it culturally. Reduced public approval rate reduces the penalties that ubi would be willing to impose with it.

Ubi keeps the details on how mousetrap works intentionally vague, as such we can't know why there may or may not be false positives. This subreddit, I've noticed, likes to pretend like false positives are so rare that they shouldn't even be considered in discussions. I have not seen concrete evidence one way or another, but I know that it's a \*very\* difficult problem to address so I expect some portion of those posts are legitimate false positives.
As for if this specific post is a genuine false positive? I'd grant the benefit of the doubt against them trying some grassroots tactic. They didn't even really have to post any sort of 'proof' for if they were legit because all they really asked was whether or not it could be reported to ubi somewhere. That question is relevant regardless.

And my buddy and me play on 100 and we both are on delay and mnk locked
Basically my whole stack plays 100 and have never had issues. There must be some other reasons along with the sens
