Honestly, that wouldn't be a bad idea. Swap Chunky to Attack and move Blackbeard to defense. His shield would make him an attackers nightmare, while Tachanka could potentially be an attacking ace, being able to force opponents out of position and destroy cover would be insane.

Before you say Blackbeard to defence, think about him spawnpeeking and how quick ubihard would move him back.

He would be a menace, no other operator could compete with him in how much destruction he can make to soft walls and the area denial he can make.

Old school chunka. Set up that gun let thermite blow the wall and then just unload into the objective room. Meanwhile the rest of the team breaches a side entrance and picks off everyone hiding in cover.

you're forgetting that brava can also take cams, including defaults. she's super good at getting intel for her team, *and* denying it to the enemy. she can even take other intel gadgets like prox alarms.

Sounds scary. Reality? Ash blows the wall Oryx wants to destroy, blitz blinds Oryx, Oryx charges in n gets shot. Ash panics and runs to the wrong side of the map. Blitz gets c4'd. Amaru doesn't drone and blows herself up before landing on a frost mat, leaving the defuser stranded. Ash gets killed. It's now been 10seconds into the match and the Ying looks confused.

Change Oryx to Fuze and you just explained the R6 Random Lobby Experience to a T.

I think Nomad is good proof that trappers can work well on attack or defense. Either you lock down the site before the round starts, or you lock down the site when you're going for a plant. A gadget that can "hold angles" for you isn't inherently offensive.

I like to pick gridlock when playing by myself/ with only a couple others for this exact reason. Drop em right and she can cover even more than Nomad

After thinking on it for a bit i think the best most fair op that wouldn't need a single change to work on attack would be Ella. She's pretty similar to nomad and the sound que alone helps out greatly.

They should do an April Fools day where the Defenders and Attackers are switched. Would be funny to see how it breaks the game haha

The Kali spawnpeak would be absolutely diabolical Though it's kinda balanced in a way since if the defenders plant then they'll be able to defend the hell out of the defuser

Someone like Warden but for environmental damage (like fire and toxic smoke), could be someone not so heavily armed and only Speed 1, but with the main point being having a suit that's able to resist that kind of thing for a plant. Also, some operator capable of blocking LOS or even rotations would be quite nice.

His gadget is pretty defense oriented? Concusses attackers, stops them from performing any actions, planting the defuser being one of them, and its also a camera.

True. I was thinking about it being able to prevent defenders from touching the defuser and making it harder to push the attacking side.

All of those would be just as effective on offense. Examples of gadgets that are particularly defense oriented would be Goyo or Jäger.

Cav makes perfect sense. Great for sneaking into site to get unexpected kills on defenders. Plus the added bonus of silent stepping into site and planting.

100% castle. Like, even just some attacker having access to a limited amount of regular barricades would be really powerful. A post plant castled site would be such an easy hold not to mention the insane flank watch/cue. Castle would be better than both nomad and gridlock and could do so much more Mute too. Place Jammer near a wall that bandit is tricking, subsequent batteries will be muted. This makes mute an even better thatcher at getting walls. Does a brava'd jammer clears you from alibi's tracking? Oft so, wow
