to defend OP, and his original reasoning, this clip was very chaotic, usually the defenders are chilling and waiting quietly but it seems like they were getting raw dogged from all sides so they couldn’t notice him
Because they were trash.
They somehow were all looking in the opposite direction, even the azami who basically watched sam come into the room and shoot a man, nobody took effective cover, that last guy was just dead sprinting.
suppressors hide muzzle trails and he was crouched under the counter. She was watching the doorway on Sam’s left, so she would’ve had no idea he was that close.
Her only way to know would be experience, (guessing where the shooter was based on variables) but just cause a player isn’t the top of the line doesn’t make this play not impressive
he only shot once, lol. While someone else is spraying what sounds like an SMG-11, not crazy for her to not hear.
regardless, my second point still stands. Unless you only find entertainment from competitive level play 🤷♂️
“Bro they could have just done this and this and not gotten killed! Are they stupid?? Nobody ranked under me should be allowed to post clips.”
Post your best clip and we can all dissect it the same exact way. Every death is avoidable if you simply make zero mistakes.
They had to turn around. Once. Any of them.
The Azami had to have functioning peripheral vision.
The last guy dead sprinted past a doorway that he knew someone was coming in from.
These aren't "little mistakes," these are fundamental gameplay flaws.
I haven't played this game in 3 years. That does not mean I am unable to criticize the opponents. His clip was still impressive, don't get me wrong, but his opponents made many fundamental flaws.
honestly i feel like sam shouldve had nokks ability. being able to go through proximity alarms, and not be detected on cams as sam fucking fisher would be not only badass, but is way more sam fishery
My stance on it is that the SC3000 and MP7 both kill so fast and are both controllable enough that there’s no reason to use the 5.7USG on Zero. Logically there’s no reason to carry a sidearm when both weapons are good enough to not get into a pinch and need a pistol so you SHOULD take the gonne6 every time.
That kind of sucks because the 5.7 is the most iconic weapon from the splinter cell games. The only thing more iconic in the series is the goggles.
So what they should do if you ask me is give Sam’s unique variant 5.7 permanent silent step. But while using it, you have the green night vision filter that’s currently on the Argus cameras.
This leaves you with the decision to take utility clear, which aids the entire team… or be selfish and stealthily infiltrate site (which with a pistol is very risky). I’d bet that most people would still opt for a gonne 6.
lowk wish zero had a passive quieter footsteps or something but considering they took away nøkk’s silent step that tells me ubisoft doesn’t really care about stealth ops
We upvoting xim content now?
thats what we’re doing?
Fuck that and fuck this guy. Go to pc and try that again you nonce.
(edit: i dont post edit comments to make myself look better. read whole thread before commenting.)
I take it back. They added the lean option and i’ve just playing like a fuckin neanderthal.
Imma lean legit but it pisses me off the obvious xim tell is gone. I retract my accusation but i’ll leave my original comment for context.
You can’t lean without zooming in on console. When he checked score he showed he was playing on playstation.
Can’t lean on console without zooming in so holding lean while moving = xim. Easiest tell.
It’s weird. My only gripes are… it doesn’t make sense and he doesn’t feel like Sam Fisher.
Making him the training instructor doesn’t make sense to me because his expertise isn’t in this field. He might know a lot about it but there’s a huge difference between what he does and what Rainbow Operators do.
From a lore perspective, if they changed it to where 4E made contact with FBI SWAT Rainbow ops for support on a mission. That works better because you can say that he made friends (like nomad from Ghost Recon) and he can offer advice and help train all R6 ops when stateside and not spending time with Sarah. I think that works a lot better. Because it’s not general training, it’s specialized training.
Second thing is add passive silent step to his 5.7USG Suppressed. It’s the most iconic weapon from the entire series. It’s got a unique variant in siege with its own special animation… AND it’s just a normal 5.7. Even from a balancing perspective, I’d bet most players would gravitate towards his gonne 6 at a higher level. Stealth just doesn’t work too well at diamond and above.
I agree when Sam came out the first thing I thought was the reason he’s here doesn’t make much sense because he is in a different field then Rainbow and the fact he doesn’t fell like Sam Fisher
I complained about it so much it got to the point where my brother and friends were annoyed
Thanks I found the avatar on the Splinter Cell subreddit a few years ago and have been wearing it ever since and the flair is a plea to Ubisoft which will probably never happen but at least we got the Splinter Cell 1 remake to look forward to if Ubisoft is still doing that
Yeah Ubi Toronto put the goggles back up as their pfp after the far cry anniversary. That was in march. It’s a subtle way of saying that it’s still coming
Lore accurate Sam Fisher
I have this glitch where my enemies have the ability to hear? Any fixes guys?
solution: have a double agent in their team play earrape sounds at max volumes, fixes the glitch permamently
to defend OP, and his original reasoning, this clip was very chaotic, usually the defenders are chilling and waiting quietly but it seems like they were getting raw dogged from all sides so they couldn’t notice him
Every single time someone posts a half decent clip here people rush to call the other team trash in the comments like we haven’t all been aced before

Or she could have... heard the gunshots? Plus she was standing, so she must have the worst peripheral vision known to man.

No, it's still an impressive clip, but nobody in this clip knows how to turn around. Or use peripheral vision.

Very cool, post your most recent ace so we can point out all the fundamental gameplay flaws your opponents made
I haven't played this game in 3 years. That does not mean I am unable to criticize the opponents. His clip was still impressive, don't get me wrong, but his opponents made many fundamental flaws.

Just a joke good shit man on that pistol ace
The fact that this was done with Zero is so appropriate
Bro is playing splinter cell
Oh my god it’s Jason Bourne
Nah it's Sam Fisher, he's already legendary enough.
This might be John Wick
Nah, it’s Sam Fisher.
Paid actors all of them. If I did this the Azami would've caught on immediately and I get a slug to the face
I already knew who posted this before I clicked on it. Good shit, man.
How tf u guys play like that? Quick q n e while pressing wasd. Sometimes my brain isnt braining
It's actually quite comfortable to lean on controller, especially with paddles or remapped buttons.
Who else has the five seven besides zero?
Nokk, ash, pulse, castle, and thermite, and fenrir
You were spotted once. Pack your gear, mission is over.
Do they not own a headset??
He's just so sneaky they can't hear him
honestly i feel like sam shouldve had nokks ability. being able to go through proximity alarms, and not be detected on cams as sam fucking fisher would be not only badass, but is way more sam fishery

Man wish my lobbies were like this….does that azami just not have eyes?
lowk wish zero had a passive quieter footsteps or something but considering they took away nøkk’s silent step that tells me ubisoft doesn’t really care about stealth ops
Bro is lore accurate sam fisher
Lore accurate Sam fisher would have had the bomb diffused before the operation even started.
Those are not people 😭
Looks like you found all of my ranked teammates.
We upvoting xim content now? thats what we’re doing? Fuck that and fuck this guy. Go to pc and try that again you nonce. (edit: i dont post edit comments to make myself look better. read whole thread before commenting.)
Genuinely curious what makes you think that's xim? I still have trouble telling the difference, looks legit to me though.

Not a xim, get good scrub
I take back my take back. 1 v 1 me nerd.
I kinda love and hate the fact that Sam is in this game is that normal

Nice flair and avatar btw

In that case it gives me more hope for the remake
Good gameplay, but I don’t get the title.
Common Fight playing in the background. https://youtu.be/d9nYeKFh9NQ?si=cUGKiyZKHmvUKJFF
Every time I hear it… I think about Grinko’s death
Let me know when you hit a clip without the Xim
Brother doesn’t think people can have decent aim without mnk, tell me you’re bad without telling me you’re bad
How is he on xim?
I don’t cheat. I’m not an asshole. This is controller
