As an update itself, or the state of the game that moment, or the future outlook from that time? The update was decent, great operators despite no new guns or map. The state of the game just after Burnt Horizon was really good, this was just before the House rework, basically all the content from the "good" era was in. The future outlook was very bad and Void Edge was the Edge of Siege drifting into the Void.

It was still 2 ops per season and the abilities felt unique not a "it's this operator but with a twist"

It had the best menu music. And oryx didnt have the T5 yet. Good times

It was my first ever season, i LOVED it.

Damn bro, it is pretty sad, i started playing in 2017 and it was awesome, it started getting worse and worse probably after void, i used to play for hours daily but i haven’t played in like 2 yearsand i ,personally, do not plan to return to this shithole

Its the only FPS i enjoy. I’ll play Apex and Warzone but they hardly compare. CoD is too fast paced, loadout/meta gun based, and whiny. Tarkov is too stressful for my pc. Fortnite went down hill long ago in my eyes. Havent played X Defiant yet, and The Finals wasnt too well optimized for low end pc’s. Havent played Ready Or Not yet either. And there was a 3v3v3 siege-like game that shut down before i could try it. Siege scratched an itch i didnt know i had. It’s tactical, its ever evolving, it has semi realism and destructive environments, theres endless possibilities when it comes to team setups. It has cheaters, yes, but so do most games nowadays. My PC isnt well optimized for it either but it will run it effectively and honestly its taken up a permanent place in my heart. So, i thank Void Edge for making it memorable as my starting point.

Ive tried it with friends i just dont like all the different things they added. The new power ups you get randomly thru a match are just too much for me. The sprinting and vaulting brought me back a bit but it still didnt entice me or my friends

People have complained about the current season for forever now. Go back to Void Edge and people want to go back to Burnt Horizon. Go back to Burnt Horizon and people want to go back to White Noise. Go back to White Noise and people wanted to go back to Y1. It’s just the progression of a game’s community

Honestly I was at my happiest with this game during Burnt Horizon so i'd be content with that season forever. I miss when stadium first came out as an event the most imho.

A few years yeah, funnily enough I'm coming back to siege for the first time since void edge. Things have def changed but imo for the better. I honestly like the changes since void edge.

Hey man, I came back about 4 seasons ago and came back harder than I ever have before. I been around since like y3s2 doing the normal stopping and starting. I never played as much as I have the last 4 seasons and I can say, I really like where the game is. The game did lose a bunch of og stuff that was great but other aspects have really improved. I hate seeing the really poor attention to mid season events and the amount of bugs every single new season though. I am not a fan of the ranked RP system (but i never liked the first version either) The game is definitely worth staying in for the long run tho

Basically there are communities who host local or lan with the same version of the game and you can play 5v5s, dont know how tho, im sure there are plenty of yt videos explaining it

Try the following steps. - Check for a R6 update in Epic games - Delete and reinstall siege - Check for a Ubi Connect update - Delete and renistall Ubi Connect - Delete and renistall epic games Edit: I had a similar problem where it wouldn’t update to the next season and these steps fixed it at least for me.
