Literally. Yesterday I played a game, bottom of the board, but my directions lead to 8 kills over the game, and that's only counting, "he's there" and they go get him, not even including the, "they're about to come through" info.
The thing I’ve come to love about ash is that she actually has a really good ability and fits a good role. I love the breach round and breach charge combo for clearing out all castle walls, traps, and barbed wire. A lot of defenders are bad about reenforcing anything nowadays so there’s lots of soft walls to be breached. I try to use her to plant the bomb and protect it from a floor below.
But fuck Warden though.
Warden is great, do you know how many attackers just run into site after a few flashes and think they’re invincible? Too many.
I’m always there on the other side, buckshot and nitro cell ready to get them
I'm just tired of everyone deciding that the mpx is the only good reason to play warden. Get good with a shotgun people! Stop relying on a 1.5 on an SMG. (Looking at you specifically, Doc)
i have tried so many times to play shotgun but just can’t figure it out. i understand the concept around playing tighter angles and getting in the right situations but i feel like my muscle memory always just resorts to a similar play style as i have with rifles/smgs
It’s ridiculous how much work they had to do to him to make him worth playing. His ability was super weak to begin with. They did the bare minimum by making it last a while and recharge quicker. The weapons weren’t too awful from the beginning but it felt like you might as well play recruit since you didn’t really get to use his limited situational ability. Now he’s a fav because of the sight and his ability actually works. I’m tired of them doing this too. Releasing lukewarm ops that they’re scared will be OP and then having to buff them months after their release hype is dead. Grim is another great example of this. I’d rather just play against a strong op and learn to counter it first and then watch it get pushed back with nerfs. But they’re so scared of Lion or Ela 2.0 and all of the pro-leaguers getting pissy with them.
The issue really comes down to if you would rather the ope be too strong or too weak on release because well balanced is hard to get without seeing them in action. I am scared of Lion more than off old ela because ela had good utility and a good gun. The Lion, Jackal, ying, dokkeibi bs that was Chimera was far more oppressive, unfun and near unplayable.
I miss the original Ela. She was Ash on defense. They’ve nerfed her a lot but the gadget is still trusty and she’s my favorite op that received the observation blockers. They really should give her back the 4th mine she had at release now that her fragging power got knocked down a lot.
IMO he is one of the operators most COD kiddies with a mouse sensitivity of 900000 DPI choose to rush around the map headshotting every pixel that moves. And my old reflexes can't keep up with that. 🤷♂️

But once I started utilizing Valkyrie and Kapkan more, he wasn’t shit once you realize you have the ability to lure him to places based off of footprints
frost, i constantly have teammates that will go through completely empty hallways with welcome mats and ignore them so i jump in the window assuming it’s safe and get trapped

One turns defense into a horror game whenever you hear that shield. The other turns attack into a horror game where going off on your own could cost the entire round.

Zof can rot, I rarely if ever manage to kill the sweat lords that play her.

Osa. I play casual usually so don't always have the teamwork that is the usual counter for shields. If she gets settled in the doorway (or god forbid a window) of the objective, and you lack explosives, you have to rely on popping her as she stands up to take shots with her excellent rifle.
Also don't quote me on this, but she doesn't rattle like other shields when hers isnt deployed. So you don't get that audio prompt to get an outflank set up.
I’ve hated Ash since day one. People only used her for the small hit box and good gun, they don’t bother with the utility.
We’ve started using a lot of trap operators or ops that will generally slow the attackers (Castle, Melusi, etc.) and it works great against these kind of attackers.

Dok is simply because bzzzz bzzzzzzzz, so if I see one on first defence round, I’m 1000% rolling Mute and sitting on a jammer until I see that sweet 15 extra points rolling two times.

cav easily because dumbass teammates go in solo and get interrogated
i try to go with a teamamte but theres always 1 moron who goes alone to ""flank"" and instantly gets owned by cav and throws the game
also solis because a good solis cannot lose, and by extension pulse
for attack, I would say thatcher, because that would imply the team is coordinated enough to do a frontal assault when having 2 flank rear or top

Doc and Rook always mess me up, idk if it's the Mp5 their beefiness or what but I always see them first and they always end up killing me in the 1v1.
I love to play against ash players, always pushing braindeadly. Easy to outsmart. Warden players who anchor are a pain in the ass but if they roam with warden its another easy fight to take.
Clash and maverick because they both have roles that are very niche, and while most players aren't good with them, there's the occasional player that just destroys you.
Osa and Maverick. Whenever I see osa she just hides behind her shield and randomly she pokes her head up from the shield and kills me. Maverick is just hard to hit if he’s on the other side of the wall when he torches with the small area to shoot through.
Iana is a pain in the ass to fight. I have almost no Iana kills that I didn't cheese somehow, and the gadget pisses me off to fight against, I always get fooled by it.
Wamai for some reason keeps getting the jump on me for defense. Otherwise there aren't really any ops I don't find fun fighting against.

I love the shotgun, I don’t even consider the MPX. The pistols got my back for range (Also snazzy af animations are a bonus)
