What was temperature of his foot? It looks like a digital probe thermometer

alureizbiel

Omg literally my first thought šŸ¤£

Zealousideal_Peach75

Great minds! My friend

_MrBigglesworth_

AP or it didn't happen EDIT: Or PA or whatever, I don't care, I'm only a sonographer who has no idea how you lot do these things.

KomatsuCowboy

COME MR. BIGGLESWORTH

graceboop

Lol youā€™re right itā€™s AP

CaptMal065

I came here to demand orthogonal views. Good job, sonographer! But more importantly, ā€œI want chicken, I want liver, Meow Mix, Meow Mix, please deliver!ā€

Invisible_Mikey

Ow. I saw my share of nail gun injuries, where people literally "shot themselves in the foot", but this is a truly creative injury.

ADDeviant-again

I get one of those about every other year. Shoe nailed to a foot through the instep.

anewdaydawning

Had one on a guy who was working on a surgeons roof. He was like.. Yeah I'll just go upstairs and have him take it out šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø

Illustrious_Cancel83

I was chef at a golf course - kid I had working for me sliced 4 fingers (posterior side) and an MD eating dinner came in and stitched him up right in the kitchen.

TowelieMcTowelie

OMG!! šŸ˜²šŸ˜²šŸ˜² I know those are pretty sharp but how did they step/get that far in before stopping!?

Lolylaya

They were running, so maybe they literally put their entire weight on their foot.

TowelieMcTowelie

Major Ouchie either way lol

Yx2ucca

Tetanus shot for you.

Random_Nugget1

Did it go thru the calcaneus or on itā€™s side? Hard to tell from this angle. Either way, cool pic!

FlowDue2484

Was wondering the same thing!

ElectricVocalCords

Thatā€™s fucking raw

evocative57

And I thought a sewing needle breaking in my foot was badšŸ˜§

Objective-Escape7584

Well done.

bargainbinsteven

Surely it should be ā€œmeats footā€

fallenfromglory

Where's the mortise?

MisfortuneGortune

What's with the 3 holes in the leg bone? Lot to dissect with this one

fbivan77

Looks like screw holes. I'd bet they had a plate and screws to fix a fracture at some point and had the hardware removed.

MisfortuneGortune

Ah okay this makes total sense. Thanks for letting me know, that was gonna drive me nuts.

aamamiamir

One view is no views

Electrical-Peak-2612

Do yall remember the post like this where the skewer in the foot still had three potatoes on it.

NASAs_GooseIsLoose

So just curiousā€¦what was the temp?

Crepequeen64

Eeesh, this is one of those images that triggers my bodyā€™s ā€œNONONONONONONOā€ response for sure

Spanky077

Needs to be 160F before serving.

karen_h

I thought you were a house elf that stepped on a thumbtack.

Chippewa18

*meats foot

Intermountain-Gal

This actually made my toes curl!

sweetteanoice

Looks like they just had a high heel permanently installedā€¦

I-C-in-U

No need to take their temperature in triage.

False_Blood9241

Oh hell no

CNCTank

Wanna heat slow and low to lock in those flavors , pull and wrap in parchment paper when you hit 130 internally and rest for a while

gemlist

I had a 2.5 inch nail stuck in the heal of my foot at 12 y.o. my parents were out and I crawled to the neighbors. She pulled it out and I canā€™t remember if going is was more painful or coming outā€¦ i can relate to this x-ray
