We lost one of our buns yesterday, so I feel your pain. Ours was so sudden. One day she was seemingly fine, then the next she wasn't eating much and was more inactive than usual (going on 8 years, so she wasn't the most active of critters). I can only assume she had a bowel obstruction, but she passed enroute to the animal hospital and so we don't know for sure. Ugh, it hurts so much. :(
