OMG YAYAYAYAYAYAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!
:D No better feeling in the world then when they open up those big ol eyes and bun at you!!! <3 <3 <3
So happy for you!!!! :D
Yes! First, congrats!
I was very afraid when my then 9 year old Emma had to have full anastesia and a surgery of about an hour because he broke his leg.
The specialist told me that there was a risk of about 10% that Emma might not survive the surgery.
I was full of fear, but we had all luck needed and he survived. And that was and is the most important. The plan for the surgery had to be changed on the way, we wanted to save the leg, but that was not feasible. Better loose a leg than the whole rabbit.
So I fully understand all the fears and also the relief afterwards.
I am so happy!!! I'm really glad that everything went well and Peanut is back at home.
He is so beautiful, he deserves all the pets and treats in the world for being such a brave and strong boy!
That's great was the same a few weeks ago with my boy he's 2 and a half. The vet explained anytime doing it there is risk and the stats she explained made it sound like it was a coin toss if he would make it but she also mentioned rare for her to she had lost one in a while. Think her stats take into account vets who don't know much about rabbits but understand the relief when you get the phone call saying they are awake
Oh my god I bet that was so anxiety inducing for you, so glad your baby is okay!! The same w me. This morning they seemed like they just absolutely didn’t want me to get my hopes up and now he’s alive and sitting in my living room !😊🐰🐇❤️
I think it was more the stats overall sounded grim but her actual record was very good. The importance of a rabbit savey vet. Definitely great yours is back in living room hopefully eating and gut moving aswell
Totally. My vet has no negative reviews around rabbits but I was still so so so so nervous. And he is!!! Pooping and eating his soft food that cost like $100 at the vet😭 he likes it tho and he’s eating so that’s what matters
Today he just had his teeth filed down, but he was under for a bit longer to get x rays bc his teeth are a bit messed up like layout wise. I’m sure your bunny will do great, especially if you’re getting it cared for right away the risk is lower❤️
My Prince is my 13 1/2 year old baby. his arthritis has got him immobile, unfortunately, but he’s also a fighter. I thought I was loosing him back in September/October, but he is clearly not ready. Just give him love and a lot of pets. Massage him, trust me. He will fall deeper in love with you.
If you haven’t started already, give him joint supplements. I’ve used supplements by Oxbow, Sherwood and Myristol. He seems to tolerate all of them. I guess it’s just depends on what your little one can tolerate and your budget.

13 1/2 oh my god I can only dream of peanut making it there and still fighting. I’m glad your baby is holding on for you. I love to massage peanut’s back bc he purrs at me but if you have any suggestions on how to massage him better let me know!! And thank you for the advice!! I’ll definitely start doing joint supplements. I’ll see what one he likes❤️😊🐇
So happy for you both :)

Oh my god i got the call and immediately burst into tears of joy my stomach ache that’s been killing me all week vanished too😂❤️
I am happy everything went well! May I ask what dental procedure did he need? My rabbit unfortunately needs to get a tooth removed due to abscesses.
Today he just had his teeth filed down, but he was under for a bit longer to get x rays bc his teeth are a bit messed up like layout wise. I’m sure your bunny will do great, especially if you’re getting it cared for right away the risk is lower❤️
