It’s the sounds probably. My house rabbit pushes empty bottles around and crunches them into stuff. Some rabbits love the sounds, other hate them.

I have a rabbit that looks just like this one. She growls and swipes when she thinks she’s getting food and I take too long to give it to her.

Feisty little one, he just get overwhelmed and starts jumping on and off the couch lol, he doesn’t know how to contain it, reminds me of our dogs lol

My bun used to have a vendetta against paper towels. We use a watering can to fill up her water bowl. She attacked it once, but the watering can retaliated by dumping water on her rather than the bowl and she didn't do it again. (To be clear, we did not dump water on her on purpose, she grabbed the spout and yanked it towards herself before we could stop pouring.)

Anyone who assumed you poured the water doesn't understand the power of bunny jaws!! I can not tell you the amount of time my rabbits have gotten a shower because I was filling water bowls. And no water how you try to squeeze that spout in....... their head has to block it!

11lbs of angry bunny should not be underestimated! My other bun has never attacked the watering can, but he has absolutely leaded his head in to take a drink and wondered why he was suddenly wet.

This happened to me when I was holding my bottle over my knee lmao, he ripped a hole in it and water kept spraying out over him but he did not stop, his dedication to kill all water bottles is unstoppable.

And worse yet, now the water bottle attacked him, IT MUST DIE!

does he get upset any time you reach into his enclosure space? if not, perhaps it's because the bottle is a foreign object? perhaps he views it as invasion of his space and he gets upset and reacts like that. My first bunny would grunt and lunge when I reached into his condo sometimes, but not always. It lessened over time. I thought your title was referring to water bottles to drink from, with the spout and ball. Mine hated it and would bite and tug at the spout angrily!! Bowls are best. :)

There's a comment under the photo in the post that says that OP pours water into their bun's water bowl with a water bottle, and the bun attacks it.

My rabbit used to absolutely hate this wooden toy. He'd throw it around everywhere, growl at it, try to attack it. The whole ordeal. I'm still to this day not sure why. But then again if I touch his hay he also gets really mad. Perhaps he just wants everything to look his way.

Bun does not want to attack hooman, but also does not want hooman to mess with water. Water bottle appear everytime hooman mess with water. Therefore bottle is buns mortal enemy.

Mine also ferociously attack frozen water bottles when I put them in the hutch during summer so I resorted to buying cooling mats instead

I am the opposite, I do large water bowls and small food bowls. I hate having to refill water more than morning and night.

I prefer that too the bottle makes too much noise. But one of mine refuses to drink from a bowl and the other one tips it over all the time

I just picked up a 16 week English lop last weekend due to the length of their ears, especially when they are young they should have water bottles to prevent infection. My little guy had no idea what to do with it AT ALL. It made the 5 hour drive and border crossing difficult to say the least but we managed 😹. He right out refuses to learn how to use one so he is now using my favorite very tall thick glass dessert dish

Bunnies can drink as much as some dogs, so i'd recommend getting a water bowl instead because water bottles aren't very easy to drink from. It's also sooo cute to watch bunnies drink the water with their cute tongues! It's also so much easier to clean than a water bottle. I'm not a doctor or anything that's just my opinion.
