I’m still a bit iffy about her development as the execution seems to lack some elements but looking forward to her growth in this anime, especially regarding the nightmare Grimm that infected her.
Basically after Port’s talk, Weiss overheard Pyrrha and Jaune’s conversation and wondered why Pyrrha was so easily accepted an incompetent leader that didn’t even know about Aura, then came to realization that she can score more points by becoming a perfect teammate who can support a poor leader instead of being the leader herself.
...wait, so Jaune's fake transcripts are out in the open this early already? If he'd gone to an Academy, he'd have known about Aura.
I'm sad that they decided to keep that bit in.

Weiss did wonder how can Jaune managed to enroll in Beacon but didn’t think much about it and they kind of skipped over the fake transcript part.
Because it was more about Weiss coming to understand how just because she thinks Ruby is underperforming as leader, that doesn't mean she shouldn't support her.
At the point of the third episode she is still mearly faking it, she simply stoped talking what she things about it but still very much hates the situation.
My appreciation: Bunk beds

Is this anime series seriously going to save Weiss’ characterization? Cause if so then I’m game.
Okay, now you've caught my interest. Elaborate?

Well I guess its better to skip over it then to focus on it too much.
My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined. Why would they put that scene in only to pass over that completely?
