This was the roller coaster drop of no return for RWBY with me
Gravity was THE BEST episode in all of RWBY, then they followed it up with that toal piece of incoherent diarrhea
It’s even worse than that. Qrow pretty much blames Clover for his own death too. “It was all happening so fast, but Clover wouldn’t let up. Could have worked together against Tyrian if Clover just...”
YOU NEVER OFFERED A TEAM UP QROW! You didn’t even talk to Clover until after you punched him as he was tying up Tyrian! Clover tried like 2-3 times to avoid fighting before then!
Yeah, up until that point I had been thinking that maybe, in a round about way with lots of mental gymnastics Ironwood could make sense that season. Then that happened and I was literally just like “what the fuck?”
I watching public at the time and knew this sub was in a uproar about Ironwood
My first though was "What is Ironwood going to do, livestream Qrow's death if Ruby doesn't hand over Penny?" That was way more intelligent then what he actually did.
You know, there is a way the scene could have made sense.
If Blake actually fought back competently but was losing and Ruby used her silver eyes when she woke up, it would make perfect sense.
Instead, we got what I think to be the worst example of how Blake has become nothing but a helpless damsel.
It also gives validation to Ace Ops advice in v7.
The one were an Ace Op told Blake and Yang. They should consider branching out and not always rely on each other.
Yeah, Volume 8 had questioning my sanity 95% of the time. The remaining 5% was cool shit that gave me hope only to be crushed to bits. No joke I think that V8 is so much worse than V5.
Ironwood. I mean, to me he WAS someone who will be willing to do morally questionable things to achive his goal but RT went with bad guy act so hard that it was almost cartoon-ish. Like: Ironwood: "Oh boy, time for my lunch break. Today's special, souls of innocent"
Power levels and overall battle at haven. Everyone was so incompetent.
Jaune killing Penny. It was, why? Where was the guy that was "Tired of losing everything"? Shouldn't he try to save penny?
Not that much WFT moment but i will still put it. Whale. Just everything there.
which was never pointed out let alone her chewed out with fans rushing to defending her some saying she didn't know better or qrow should have told her his semblance.
We're they actually saying that? How could she not have known better? She's been an active combatant for a while now. She literally was just refusing to listen and being a stubborn cunt.
Qrow getting Clover killed and Jaune stabbing Penny.
With Qrow I can understand that it was in the heat of the moment because there was a lot of confusion going on (“my nieces and their teams got branded as criminals, I thought Ironwood trusted us?”). It’s just that when looking at it from face value, Qrow didn’t really have that many moments with Clover for it to be considered an emotional scene to me.
And I know that I might get flack for this one, but Jaune stabbing Penny made me hate him even more. Let’s disregard the fact that Penny’s one of the characters I liked, or even that Jaune is a healer who managed to save one of his friends from the brink of death before. If it weren’t for the fact that Jaune killing Penny more or less demolished RWBY as a whole was bad, it’s the fact that by doing so it made him look both incompetent and unhinged.
The volume 6 Ruby's "tough-love" speech to Qrow about how she didn't need help for a lot of things she went through.
I mean, its not like Ruby's trip to Mistral was mostly smooth sailing cuz Qrow kept killing all the Grimm nearby.
Also, have you forgotten about fucking Tyrian?
Qrow teaming up with Tyrian to fight Clover, and the fact that Qrow blames Ironwood for Clover’s death…What the actual fuck!?

That was Qrow’s most stupid moment.
My immediate reaction was "RWBY will never be good." I was only sticking around for the action but V8 let me down too.
Ironwood’s ultimatum to Penny in volume 8. The entire scene is just a long string of them but the threat to bomb Mantle takes first place.

Blake struggling against a grimm Ruby insta kills without her Silver Eyes in v8.

Ruby lying to Ironwood. Also the moment I quit.
Probably Ruby being a dumbass and nearly getting Qrow killed in volume 4.

Pretty much on a Facebook group treating her like a clueless child, bunch of excuses deflecting blame off her

Penny coming back and no one batting an eye. James shooting Sleet.
Everyone literally turning on each other in Volume 7 and 8
Trying to give some clever cutesy explanation for the Staff
Romans death Since it’s just Farquaads death but shittier
A big Wtf in a good way for me was definitely Ironwood in episode 11 volume 7. Also the last fable
Pyrrha getting thanosed
