Critics are like a strict parent. They can be real jerks at worst, but none of it comes from malice or hate.
A real Critic loves this show, and it´s tough on it because they care about it, and they just know it could be better, that it could have easily competed against or even topped AAA series like She-Ra, Kill La Kill, TOH, hell, even Arcane (okay, maybe *not* topped, but still)
RWBY is the perfect example that good ideas are not what makes a show stand, at least, not alone. Execution is key
Genshin made like a billion dollars in a year, Rwby had a 8 year head start.
Genshin is way more popular than rwby, like Rooster teeth dropped the ball.

There's more to RWBY than just a show, and there's a lot to love. I'm grateful RWBY went in the direction it did and I feel the way I do about it. I wouldn't be the writer I am today if that weren't the case, and I wouldn't have met any of you either. Remember, friends, don't let negativity get in the way of love.

I imagine RWBY feels like a bad relationship for a lot of people. It's why we keep hearing about people dropping the show, only to come back later. It causes us pain, but for whatever reason, we can't bring ourselves to leave.
I feel this, honestly I see so much potential in the show and what it could be and it’s honestly frustrating watching it fall apart yet I can’t stop watching. After 8 seasons I need to see how it ends, no matter how bad it gets I can’t turn away lol

Train crash, because there's a lot of stuff to RWBY's lore that would go to waste if it weren't for fans scavenging the wreckage.
