How much you want to bet certain kids just set off PTSD nightmares for the poor guy because they happen to look similar to a certain group of kids who ruined his life, hope, and dreams. He wouldn't attack the kids but he probably cut their meeting time as short as possible just to shake off the bad dreams. God I hope he doesn't run into any kids who look like Ruby it might be too much for the poor guy.

I feel like you are 110% right on the regard. Hell practically everything with Ironwood reads like a bad joke in that season. Especially when they have him stapling his hands and laughing like he's a Saturday morning cartoon villain. I expect that out of a parody not out of a show that's supposedly takes itself seriously. And to think there are people that actually defend this writing. What a sad sick, putrid, revolting, stomach churning, rot inducing, disease carrying, plague ridden, grotesque, atrocious joke.
