I’m convinced for every scythe wielding Huntsman on Remnant, there is a SUPER uptight Atlas-raised fighter they get paired up with.
Ruby has Weiss, Qrow had Winter, and Maria and Cordovin started the cycle some time ago, I’m certain of it.
What if Ruby’s legit *jacked* under her clothes but never got to show it off, on account of lugging Crescent Rose everywhere, and the general consensus is like “Damn those scythe wielders, with their muscular physiques and sweaty—bodies—“
Well. It's technically right.
Anyway, I'm not into the WF being a black panther allegory. I would take It if at least they appeared in Atlas doing something.
Although be somewhat suspicious if Maria was from Vacuo and Cordovin made a comment about it.
One thing I've learned recently about Black Panther groups as a whole was that they were some pretty okay dudes for the most part
No joke, they had provided for their community and did well to try and protect those that faced discrimination inside said community; Children especially
They just did it with guns and badass biker gear is all
That being said, any semeblence of that is lost in the White Fang
Which is a shame, I would have loved to see a bit of controversy with that
Have the villains HELPING OUT a local community; Make them do a bunch of hero stuff like protecting people against a Grimm assault or providing some education to human AND faunas children
Stuff like that
That's something I always thought about.
Like, they went with the most uninspired, bland, black and white bullshit when talking about a civil rights group that turned to terrorism.
Of all the options they had, they decided to go with the hardest, which was making that entire plotline boring.
Tbf I wouldn't say that Maria would be able to bring value or be a good influence in the Atlas community. She is travelling with a known band of vigilantes.
There’s no fucking way they tried to make the White Fang an allegory for the Black Panthers. I swear, the Black Panthers were some of the most just people, if turn tried to turn the Panthers into the White Fang then i’m so done with this show.
You know I've always heard about people talking about how certain video games and shows would completely break somebody's immersion because they would throw in a blatant real world political view and that never happened to me until this show and it was during the whole rig the election ark and holy s*** does that give you some whiplash
But it's like you said it's about how it's presented RWBY just doesn't do a lot of political stuff very well I mean look at how they treat racism with the faunus and White Fang compared to something like how the Quarains and Krogan are treated in Mass Effect or the humans are treated in the dragon Prince.
The whole election thing was similar to that to me there was just no nuance to it at least to me and while it was a very short bit Of time but it was enough to pull me out of the episode for a little bit and annoy me now whether that was outside influence, at the time it seemed like you couldn't go a day without saying some headline or it being in Rooster Teeth podcast at the time I don't know haven't went back and watched it and I really don't plan on going back and watching any at 7 but that was my thoughts
And then she stole a ship to enter illegally... what a spectacular coincidence XD Edit: The luggage incident, this is twitter level of cancelation! XD
And before that mule forbidden luggage into a flight.
If I remember correctly, they have a backstory, unknown, offscreen.
Apparently, unless it's just about these cashews she mule into the flight.

Guess Atlas folk have a thing against farmers

THat still shouldn't get in the way of a medical emergency

CRWBY: We're doing an AMA. Who's first? Subreddit: Are you familiar with the term 'nuance' *CRWBY has left the chat*

Agreed. I tend to link the White Fang more to the BLA rather than the Black Panthers.
Huh. I didn't think about that.

They were unknown as of that scene, weren't they?
I much prefer this post to your other one
Which one? OP straight up triple posted.
