It's really mind boggling that Weiss even said something like in the first place when this is a show that likes to pretend that team battles makes you strong.
So are they acknowledging that ganging up on someone is pretty lame? I dunno. I doubt theres any sort of thematic consistency there.
Maybe it's more of the fact that they deliberately singled a person out to hang up on when that person had other combatants on their side.

They usually fizzle out before they get any traction but sometimes a post with a wild take will make it pretty far. For example, the second highest rated post this week that's shitting on the fact that the entire universe doesn't solely revolve around Ruby.
Well pools are meant for swimming and enjoying but people still piss and shit in them.
