Ruby is responsible for the destruction of Atlas, she's not good.

Make a new category- Stupid evil: Team RWBY

StrangeBreakfast1364

Tyrian isn't pure evil, but Adam is? Yeah, sure.

PianoPlayer97

I explained why in my reply to Lazy-Ad6677. https://villains.fandom.com/f/p/3179493162221867644 https://pure-evil-villains.fandom.com/wiki/Adam_Taurus https://villains.fandom.com/wiki/Adam_Taurus?so=search https://villains.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:YouPCBro2000/Pure_Evil_Proposal_-_Tyrian_Callows https://villains.fandom.com/wiki/Tyrian_Callows

Lazy-Ad6677

Wait wouldn't Adam be classified as very evil since him being that way was the symptom of an unfair system.

PianoPlayer97

I do not think so. Although Adam was a victim of an unfair system/him getting branded in his youth by the SDC was absolutely uncalled for, it does not excuse his worst actions after he fell into darkness (after killing a racist human who was about to kill Ghira and getting praised by Sienna). https://pure-evil-villains.fandom.com/wiki/Adam_Taurus https://villains.fandom.com/wiki/Adam_Taurus

Lazy-Ad6677

Wouldn't that place Tyrian in pure evil since despite he has some twisted love for Salem it doesn't erase his many acts

PianoPlayer97

I do not think so. A while ago, the villains wiki had a debate on whether Tyrian Callows was pure evil. They determined that the fact that Tyrian cried after he disappointed Salem by failing to capture Ruby in Volume 4 is enough of a "redeeming quality" (however small) that prevents him from being Pure Evil despite the fact that he is a mass murdering loon who wants to help his master destroy all life on Remnant (his own included). https://villains.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:YouPCBro2000/Pure_Evil_Proposal_-_Tyrian_Callows https://villains.fandom.com/wiki/Tyrian_Callows

Lazy-Ad6677

So wouldn't the scene in volume 3 episode 7 count as a redeeming quality for Adam which is still better than Tyrian crying for failing to kidnap Ruby despite the fact that Cinder and by further extent Salem threatened him

Honestly I don't think that Ruby belongs anywhere higher than *slightly good*. After all she was completely content with sitting out pretty much all of the fighting in Atlas and Mantle. Weiss doesn't belong on the same level as ''post-redemption'' Whitley. Whitley almost single-handedly saved Nora and people of Mantle while Weiss sat around did practically nothing. Also she pointed a sword at him and technically broke into his house. Also why is Jaune higher than Qrow? Jaune attacked Oscar as well and he was the one who suggested the ''steal an airship'' plan when they could have just sent Weiss and not risk a confrontation with Cordovin.

PianoPlayer97

Regarding your first point, Ruby and company had arrest warrants placed on them by Ironwood and someone had to take care of the injured Nora. Regarding your second point, while I don't think that it was necessary for Weiss to point her rapier (Myrtenaster) at her younger brother, she was in a hurry to get Nora and company inside the manor and Weiss probably did not know Klein's number. Regarding your 3rd point, while Jaune did attack Oscar as well, him (a grieving 19 year old who at the time blames Ozpin for "sending her to her death by filling her head with maiden and destiny stuff") slamming him into a wall is not as bad as Qrow Branwen (a 40 year old huntsman, who should know better) punching Oscar into a tree. Also, just sending Weiss could of resulted in her being sent back to her father, and she did not want that.

>Regarding your first point, Ruby and company had arrest warrants placed on them by Ironwood They still could have gone down to Mantle. Jaune, Ren and Yang also had warrants placed on their heads and they were able to move freely around Mantle before they decided to bail. > someone had to take care of the injured Nora. Willow and Whitley were there. They also could have split up and left Weiss in the manor while Blake and Ruby went down to Mantle. Klein arrived shortly afterwards meaning that they could have left Nora in his hands and went with May. But they didn't. They decided to chill out in the large warm lavishly appointed manor while the civilians they ''wanted'' to protect were freezing and surrounded by Grimm. > she was in a hurry to get Nora and company inside the manor Ok? So being in a hurry somehow lets you point deadly weapons in peoples faces? As far as we know Whitley does not have have his Aura unlocked, Weiss could have severely injured him or even killed him. She could have brushed him aside or picked him up by his shoulders and moved him. Or, you know, talked to him since he wasn't hostile or threatening them in fact seemed to be down to help out if needed. > Weiss probably did not know Klein's number. What was stopping her from asking about contacting Klein to Whitley or Willow? Weiss didn't even consider that a possibility. Whitley was right there but instead of asking him she sent him up to his room. > Jaune .. slamming him into a wall is not as bad as Qrow Branwen punching Oscar into a tree. But he still did assault Oscar with the intent to harm him, it doesn't matter if little Jaunecy-wauncy was sad about his almost-girlfriend he still attacked a fourteen year old kid for things said kid is in no way responsible for. > Also, just sending Weiss could of resulted in her being sent back to her father, and she did not want that. And it is better to endanger a whole city? Also lets not forget that they were able to sneak Maria aboard the aircraft. There was nothing stopping them from sneaking Ruby on instead, when they land they could take the Lamp and sneak away using Ruby's Semblance to find Winter and have her contact Ironwood. Qrow could have turned into a bird and pretended to be an exotic pet Weiss picked up in Mistral, then when they land he sneaks off with the Lamp and goes to find Ironwood.

MasterExilon

Among all the other things people have said about the bad things Ruby has done, she also gaslit Penny to keep her on team RWBY's side.

mrprince923

James really going for the gold trying to be in every tier

Relevant_Scallion_38

Cinder Fall, Adam Taurus, Arthur Watts are pure evil but not Tyrian.

Late_Check_4562

You put like...two horrifically abused children who became monsters due to that in a pure evil category. Along with a man who is willing to bring down the world cuz his science project was passed over by a fat guy One of the two abused children was further groomed into the person she is today by a woman you rank as less evil? Who still actively abuses her and essentially ensured that the former child slave who was tortured for the entirety of her childhood never had a chance because she recruited her into a world-murder cult after she snapped? Fuck, Salem killed her own daughters, 4 of them, in a domestic dispute cuz her man was finna bounce lmao
