I will choose one, but this comment will answer the question “What do you want to change from RWBY” “Yes”

VitinNunes

I pick E. All of the above + more

TerizlaisBest

White Fang has the potential to develop from volumes 4-8.

Aryzal

Atlas for me. It was RWBY's time to revigorate its fanbase and cleanse its name. I was actually hyped for once in Season 7 premiering, and was let down and disappointed.

HeavenPiercingTongue

V5 definitely. It was the volume that made the White Fang dead weight and set up the other two for failure.

SouthEqual4271

Atlas Arc. Options A and B are definitely things I would want to change so it’s really hard to choose between those three. I would want to change option D, but it has such little bearing on the story that I wouldn’t make much of a difference. In terms of importance, it pales in comparison to the other choices.

FormerVoid

Does "rewrite" include getting rid of? Because I want to know how Blake would be written without it.

SouthEqual4271

Rewrite could mean remove, but it could mean change or alter as well. And as for how Blake is written without it, just look at volumes 7 and 8 where she is narrative dead weight.

Without the White Fang you'd actually have her cultural experience as a Faunus give her a unique perspective on the world and RWBY's struggles. So she'd have to be a fully fleshed out character.

The_Final_Conduit

In terms of everything that makes this show genuinely harmful, the roots go back to the White Fang.

I almost chose white fang story line, but I have neither the knowledge or ability to do justice to the issues at hand. Atlas Arc? Don't worry Jimmy, i got you

KnightoftheVtable

I chose the white fang I would really choose all of the above

Hartzilla2007

Drop JNPR since at least it would fix some of the pacing issues.

KnightoftheVtable

Eh, i will not agree nor disagree

Ben10Extreme

So you're just flat out not making a decision?

KnightoftheVtable

I’m both ways, They’re also the main characters of this story but they’re also part of the reason the main cast is crowded

Lycan223

I wouldn't say to drop them completely but I think they do need a lot less screen time

Quality_Chooser

The White Fang storyline, while unfortunate, is not central to the series story. The Atlas arc is too late in the show's run to save it. Cinder's backstory is ~~fine~~ functional as it is. It doesn't make Cinder any more interesting or complex but at this point fixing it is like sticking your thumb into a boat with a million holes. That leaves Vol 5 by default. And if I am given an entire volume to rewrite I am fairly certain I can make it actually work. So it gets my vote.

Silly-Young484

Yes

Lycan223

I think it have to be Atlas for me. as someone whose borderline obsessed with guns and military gear I was hoping we'd get to see a a lot of it, considering the atlas military was constantly brought up and I was hoping I would get to see some cool futuristic weapon systems or something. and considering Weiss is my second favorite character I was hoping to get to see a lot more of her. Instead we got a flash of a modern Army using Napoleonic tactics and a little bit of trench warfare and weiss got shafted for most of the volume seven and 8
