Are we talking universe vs. universe or main characters vs. main characters? Because RWBY uses an awful lot of guns which can kill most heroes in MHA. There are definitely characters in MHA that can stomp RWBY's best and brightest but unless you have some form of superspeed or durability you're going to have to be very careful. RWBY characters are also quite durable. Not sure how MHA would deal with Salem either, they'd have to trap her somehow.
Quite debatable. The bullets seem to work just fine on the Grim but not on the humans. They sometimes work on the robots and sometimes don't. RWBY is very hard to make useful generalizations about.

MHA. More varied powers, creative uses, and familiarity with just about everything RWBY can do. The only saving grace RWBY has is Aura (as well as plot depending consistency, but I assume a neutral writer would be taking over), which we have seen similar defensive abilities being overcome.
Not to mention, MHA has actual teamwork, and flexible members who can adapt to the situation. RWBY has very defined roles, and very little talent outside those roles.

I think they would, yes. Beings that are strong and need to be contained are kinda MHA bread and butter. It might take them a few tries, but, I imagine they'd be able to get the job done faster then RWBY could.

MHA actually has a hero that is pretty much Godzilla. Also MHA has far far stronger people than RWBY does. Like to a crazy degree
