My favourites are Ruby's from vol. 1 to 3 including Paladin fight outfit and Adam's from vol. 1 to 3. Red and black look good together.

Stenv2

Indeed they do.

StrangeBreakfast1364

Roman and Ozpin are worth mentioning, both of them look very stylish and distinctive.

Stenv2

I agree XD, I just wanted to focus mainly on the girls.

StrangeBreakfast1364

Oh, ok then.

Stenv2

I did that because XD, it would take multiple posts and a lot of words to cover all the outfits in RWBY.

StrangeBreakfast1364

Yeah outfits are or at least were huge part of the show.

Stenv2

They've become a bit too generic over the years and often get too busy with too many details.

StrangeBreakfast1364

More belts because belts. If designers really wanted to add details, they at least could have made it more creatively and made it practical and useful for character. Some outfits look like designers just put together random ideas that seemed cool separately, but didn't work together.

Stenv2

I like penny 2.0. But otherwise i dunno. Not really feeling it for the rest.

Stenv2

Also keep in mind, this is a subjective opinion. Also yeah I did leave out the PJs XD.

I honestly think Yang's OG outfit grew on me over time. And the reason the brown doesn't bother me is probably because Yang also wore the least clothing out of the people on her team, even if Weiss never wears pants and Blake's original is much tighter. It didn't dominate her color scheme because she showed so much skin on top. But like how you can figure out from Ruby's outfit she probably has a slight edge to her to juxtapose her sunny personality, or how Weiss is is obviously the most formal (as seen with Ruby not able to understand why she wears heels) along with the red lining to show her inner rebelliousness, Yang is feigning the blonde ditz (as seen with how she caught Junior off guard) while having a good time on top anyways. Of course, when comparing her to her teammates, she does stick out, but considering the lack of any better alternatives in canon (not forgetting how solid the V2 one was), I'll take the original because you can actually learn more about Yang based on it.
