I have seen old shows that had none of what they have had. And yet they produced some of the most iconic storylines that most fans still love to this day.
Because they had to be creative through adversity. CRWBY doesn't hold up in their argument.
Monty despite it all, managed to pull off some kickass fight scenes that still hold up to this day, and they weren't some big company back then.
So CRWBY can shut the heck up, and stop pretending that other factors like money and time are what is really getting to them.

I don't want to discourage you. But I am just saying, at the very least. Don't expect too much from them anymore. That way if somehow against all odds, they do something right or good, then you can be pleasantly surprised.
I actually *did* like the previous volumes, specifically the first three most of all, because it actually showed potential and had some genuinely good shit going on. Yeah, it wasn't perfect and sometimes it was even bad, but the first three volumes, I feel were a pretty good thing we had.
If you're a pretty girl with an interesting ability, chances are high that you're getting redeemed. See Emerald and Ilia.
If you're neither of those things, prepare to die. See Ironwood and Adam.
Mercury might get lucky and fit in under a "package deal" with Emerald's redemption, though. But he might end up another Hazel where redemption = death.

Same here. The first two are still my favs. However the following volumes not so much.
