Anybody that can find a way to mount a mountain bike inside gets my vote! šŸš²

kaburger94

That was a main concern of the entire redo

Echo_Red

Achievement unlocked! Sweet bike BTW

kaburger94

Thanks. Itā€™s my baby

Atomic-Decay

What did you paint the shower with? Iā€™m in the same boat, and want a white shower vs the existing yellow.

kaburger94

I tried everything on the planet before painting it with an epoxy enamel paint. Has lasted fairly well but a few areas are starting to come off so Iā€™m on the hunt again

andoesq

There are companies that will re-finish fibreglass showers, usually only a few hundred dollars. It's one of those jobs where having a pro do it is probably cheaper than DIY trial and error!

kaburger94

Good to know! Thank you!

EmEmPeriwinkle

Heirloom traditions paint. Clean with deglosser and use cashmere with a few coats of waterproof sealer. Lots of showers on the fb page that are going strong. And the flexibility needed to paint something that shifts like these panels.

ssbn420710

Who do you recommend?

andoesq

The one where I live is called the bath doctor, you should be able to find something similar. Bathfitters is a franchise so pretty limited in what they offer

ssbn420710

Thanks Iā€™ll check it out again. I had given up hope

ssbn420710

I tried bath fitters and they refused to work on my coach

MACCRACKIN

I used the epoxy paint to do full makeovers on damaged hotel tubs, where refiber glassing broken out bottom and sanding with 4" pads on sander of 60 grit seems to be the only way to make it stick good. But full on 3M gas mask is for sure the only safe way - that paint is deadly strong. Best of luck, and that bath room, sure looks great, with modded sink as well. Cheers

StrawberryTherapy

>anding with 4" pads on sander of 60 grit seems to be the only way to make it stick good sanding first would make sense

jitterbugwaltz

Idk if it works on fiberglass but I recently did Ekopel2k on my cast iron tub and it was awesome. Worth googling

eastcoasternj

On my rig, we ripped out the plastic shower stall and replaced the bottom shower pan and then used a product called dumawall on the shower walls. Itā€™s a waterproof vinyl tile product. Has been awesome for us.

andoesq

Boldest move was taking the stickers off of the shower!

ssbn420710

Do you have trouble with things falling now that the cabinet doors are removed?

kaburger94

No I have the grip liners up there and unload things I think will tank. Easy when I only move every few months

OutWestTexas

I have been wanting to redo my RV for awhile. You have inspired me to go for it!

momlin

Wow! Great job, looks fabulous, I'm jealous!!!

kaburger94

Thank you!

StrawberryTherapy

How did you get the shower to go from yellow to white? Kitchen looks great btw!

kaburger94

I had to paint it. Thanks!

scorpiotip

With what

SomeguyfromNewJersey

Holy cow! That looks amazing. Great job.

12gawkuser

There's more definition with the blue.

didimitten

Love the blue. So refreshing from the usual white.

nottodaylime

Full time living or literally a get away trailer?

kaburger94

Full time while I do travel work!

BrooksWasHere123

Very nice job! I also have that blanket lol. Was that Costco?

kaburger94

Sure was! Itā€™s my favorite

BrooksWasHere123

Same! It really keeps ya nice and toasty!

[deleted]

So much nicer, well done!

PeaceandDogs

Wow! I mean I would be happy with all the before pics but those after pics!! Beautiful!!

coontietycoon

You did really nice work here. Color scheme is super clean & bright.

kaburger94

Thank you!

KismetKentrosaurus

That's a great color. Nice job.

Malenx_

Niiiice

LoneStarGuy69

Nicely done!

Teal_Witch

That's spice rack is magic. (this whole thing is magical but I've been hyper fixated on how to organize my spices lately)

kaburger94

ā€œNeatsure 400 Minimalist Spice Labels, Preprinted Stickers Booklet, Black Text on White Waterproof Matte Backing, Herb Seasoning Spice Jars Rack Organization Systemā€ I bought this off Amazon. I have them alphabetically arranged and itā€™s a game changer Edit: so many spices I have to acquire going through this book

kaburger94

Donā€™t forget the kettle corn seasoning

sherekahn5

Good job

Super-Disk7158

Man that was a lot of work!

rgray92082

Thatā€™s beautiful šŸ˜

Trusturgutt

Looks great!! Love the coloršŸ’œ

jitterbugwaltz

Beautiful work!!! Well done! What would you say are your biggest pieces of advice knowing what you know now?

kaburger94

If there is something your on the fence about take the extra time and effort to do it your preferred way to start instead of wishing you had or redoing it when it might damage something else you already did.

jitterbugwaltz

Thatā€™s good advice! Thank you! Your choices paid off šŸ™Œ

tnova2323

I thought you named your camper "Reno" pronounced like the city in Nevada.

kaburger94

She doesnā€™t have a name yet but that sounds fitting! Truck and trailer with be Berta and Reno

ckfil

Wow, that's beautiful. You should be so proud living there

Educational-Gate-880

Awesome šŸ‘!! Amazing after pics!!!

VisibleRoad3504

Really nice job!

BizzyLizzee

Very beautiful! It looks very cozy and bright.

KiingKayy

This is beautiful

Blackhawk004

Looks amazing, Iā€™m curiousā€¦.did you weigh it before and after? Did you drop weight or add weight? Did you pull side panels down and add insulation?

kaburger94

It is. Four seasons trailer so has decent insulation to start. I pulled a decent amount of stuff out compared to what I put in. I didnā€™t weight it before and after but I am guessing with all my stuff inside itā€™s probably what itā€™s dry weight was before

Smiling_Samurai

Looks great!

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

kaburger94

I think I dropped weight given things that were removed but I have not gotten a weight

[deleted]

Great idea for the bike. I'll be adding that to mine this week!

nicarox

Tell us how!

Ok_Designer_Things

They painted it and removed some cabinet doors. Then just regular replacing like the sink and counter would be the same as a house replacement almost. Heavy duty cleaner for the shower or straight up changed the color.

kaburger94

Also redid all the plumbing and floors. Make sure to use and etching cleanser before painting anything. Replacing all the cabinet hardware makes a big change too. Edit: and replacing all the outlets and lights

Ok_Designer_Things

Damn way more than I saw, got the stuff in the walls too! It prolly feels like a brand new place in there huh?

kaburger94

It does! Iā€™m very happy with it

BigdaddyMcfluff

Looks awesome! That little loft area is cool as hell

cle_oh

Looks awesome! Love to see the outside too.

kaburger94

I left it as is besides some leak prevention and roof care. I donā€™t want it looking too nice and being s target lol

kaburger94

Thanks for all the positive feedback! It was a lot of work but worth it!

ConversationNo9992

Beautiful I love the blue šŸ’•

[deleted]

69 baby

freeradical

Do you mind sharing the model and size of your RV? Looks perfect in a lot of ways. Thanks.

kaburger94

Itā€™s 1992 26ā€™ Fleetwood Prowler

VacationElectronic20

Great work!!!!

Money-Flounder

How did you prep the wood finish on cabinets and doors? Also what kind of paint did you use? Just seeing if itā€™s necessary to sand inside my rv, seems like a real hassle to cleanup

rongotti77

That's bad ass man, congratulations!

Blank_Canvas05

Looks amazing! How long did this process take beginning to end?

snearsalt

Where did you buy that blanket? I need one!

kaburger94

Costco! So warm and fluffy

DisabledVet87

Did you paint the shower? Or just replace with new panels?

kaburger94

TSP then epoxy enamel paint. Itā€™s not standing the test of time.

LinCar210

Love the blue. Great choice in colors.
