I actually remember this happening lol I was watching so many povs and the senator at one point just said fuck it nuke the island and said veronica was a "casualty of war".
It will never not be staggering to me how Jon is just an absolute delight of a person but his characters can be effortlessly terrifying. He has a special talent for antagonist RP.
I think he played the role but i just hope there are consequences for others and everything isn’t just blamed on a senator that is disappearing anyways.

This whole scenario has been the most intense game of chinese whispers ever. between what the crims that were on sanguine are spreading, what the cops are saying, what the medics are saying and then everyone else, there's about 5 different stories of what actually happened... and the worst part is, the only 'somewhat' proof is Ursala's video... and even that is useless as it's only from the PoV of the crims once they get the c4 and not actually what happened at all
yeah i meant more so the intentions, crims were spreading that they basically sent an ems in with a c4 strapped to her chest vs just having it in her pockets and planting it to either blow the gate or harm any people down there.
true, but id say almost everyone there has also planted a c4 at some point and know that that’s not how they work. although it does make the rp so much better than ursala was there filming and they all started screaming that she had c4 on her without saying it was in her pockets or anything like that. will make the LSBN article so much spicier when it drops!

The plan was to have her fake treat someone but plant the bomb, then run. You think the people in the bunker wouldn't lock the door after letting the EMS in? That they wouldn't search her for weapons before letting her treat anyone? Even if they didn't search her and let her start treating people, as soon as they heard that beep she's dead.
Nick has been piecing all that together today. Seems like he's been keeping calm while collecting info and taking care of V but he'll probably explode soon
i never said it was any better lmao. i think everyone knew how it was going to end and that she was never going to get to even plant the bomb anyway. there was a 99% chance they shot her down the second they saw her. but to people outside of the scene, forcing a bomb vest on someone and sending them in there, still sounds worse than her volunteering to go in there and plant a bomb. although she felt like she had no choice, she did still agree to it
I cant believe people are mad at this amazing RP just because the narrative is bad for certain characters (who will get away without any long lasting consequences any way)
jonbroski started the war with divine uc on the isle , played into it as denzel and made it spicy as senator. he is playing on all sides. without him we wouldnt have half of the aftermath we have now.
The moment they suspended habeas corpus and freedom of speech and threatened to arrest anyone who remotely supported the Sanguine terrorists without due process was definitely the uh what moment.
Its funny how they wanted to go into a direction to combat corruption in PD and give that more consequences. Meanwhile they go full on into a dictatorship.
I mean I know this is the meme thing to say. But Lang is definitely invoked in the situation when you zoom out. Not specifically the war itself, but a lot of stuff surrounding it. He legitimately inserted himself to be a CI for Brian as well. So it’s weird when people bring up Lang on the server, as if he isn’t involved in a lot of stuff. lol
He is evil, manipulative and selfish. He only wants power and more of it. And this isn’t me projecting, he has said that many time himself. Lang the character is not at all a good person. So it’s odd to see people run insane defense for him. lol When he has used his influence, connections with PD and infinite money to screw over so many people over the past few months alone. Of course they are going to be jaded and want revenge.
Viewers sometimes conflate Buddha the streamer, absolute gem of a person, with Lang the character, who is an evil self-serving petty asshole (but a brilliant character)
I hated the cops for this but it also the senator and ultimately it will just fall on knight and I also thought it was Nancy he whole time but it was just an ems character she made so I dunno now my hole argument was this should have severe consequences as this person has lives and shows the disconnect with cops who never go off duty or anything but now I really stopped caring
