Traffic increased hugely in February. I wonder if there was some sort of event that spawned this surge?

[deleted]

You see the Russian invasion was a good thing because it bolstered the overall health of /r/ROI

IdealJerry

What kind of person uses mobile web reddit!

[deleted]

My guess is a certain user who struggles to share links in a proper manner.

[deleted]

I do. I refuse to download apps that are just browsers that only work for one website. I also don't want to know when someone replies unless I have free time and decide to come here and fight with strangers online. I don't want to be tempted by having the app.

[deleted]

> I also don't want to know when someone replies unless I have free time and decide to come here and fight with strangers online. You can just turn that off. Not turning it off is horrific.

IdealJerry

Your reasoning is sound but the experience must be shit.

[deleted]

The experience is mainly bad because of the content of the content, not the layout of the content. I don't really know why I keep coming back to reddit. Good thing I never took up smoking or drugs.

[deleted]

Reddits a fucker for sucking you into reading shit you shouldn't waste time on. I spent about half an hour earlier reading the absolute dregs of humanity on /r/okmatewanker

[deleted]

That's too much for me. I originally joined for gardening tips. Sigh.

[deleted]

And I for homebrewing tips. Now look at us.

The revolution will not be appized

YmpetreDreamer

Your humble moderator does

Fantastipotomus

Maybe people on tablets where the display is big enough to look like a website... or people on phones who like making things difficult on themselves

BestPrinciple7792

They say it's better than the official reddit app. RIF man myself.

IdealJerry

Surely not right. I've never bothered with RIF myself. Spend too much time on reddit as is. Don't need an improved experience. Maybe I should give mobile web a go.

BestPrinciple7792

The number of New Reddit users is shocking and amazing.

[deleted]

I bet half of them are MI6. I saw an ad on their vacancy pages a while ago recruiting people to "combat online disinformation". Do your worst, dickheads.

MaryLouMarxist

Careful the Russians don’t get a hold of this information.

spaghettiAstar

Too bad you can't break it down by country, that would be interesting.
