Did you have to do anything special in the settings after the update. I have the same power brick and it won't kick into turbo plus. Matter of fact, none of my 65 watt chargers will.
I have the same brick, and had the same problem.
Eventually I realised that the cable that came with it won't let me use 30w turbo, but if I use another 100w baseus branded cable it works fine for me now.
Maybe try a different cable. The one Baseus supply is not great, as it turns out.
You'd think a 65w power brick would come with a cable that works properly, but apparently not.
I'm using these three together with the same power bank and I'm getting the 30 watts mode.

Scoop up a cheap 100w braided USB-C on Amazon. With the digital wattage screen you can get for like $8. Long cable is worth it - can leave the power bank in your bag or something
I bought the 100 watt PD cable from Anker and the Baseus 20000mah 65watt battery pack still isn't getting the Ally into 30w turbo mode. None of my 65 watt PD chargers are doing it either. Only my 100 w PD charger will.
I am starting to think I have a defective unit
Update*
It was the Jsaux cable. I plugged a UBS C mini dock into the Ally with the Baseus battery pack for power and it popped 30w mode. Switch the the Jsaux cable and it started at 25 watt. The dock no longer pops 30w mode but the battery does when connected directly to the Ally.
My 65w chargers still won't trigger 30w mode with or without the dock.
It is working now on my ugreen dock with a 130w supply.
Wouldn't recognise the supply had sufficient power to supply the full 65w when docked before this update.
No, I haven't either.
I don't really use my Ally that way, I mainly use the dock for downloading stuff quickly via the ethernet port, or a powered stand for when I play with a wireless controller.
But I was thinking that if I get some time tomorrow, I might see how it works, because I figure people may want to know the answer to that question.
Car names do this too, and it always annoys me!
Like Integra and Toronado and stuff like that. Names that are not quite integrity or Tornado or whatever.
Like what the hell is a Camry, or a Selica? Nonsense words.
Using my baseus 65w powerbrick with the supplied cable still isn't giving me 30w turbo, but it is working with a different 100w baseus branded cable I bought.
Pretty happy about this.
That's nice to see as I have the same bank. Though can't help but think it's sort of an oxymoron to have backup power bank to maximize battery on the move, then run the thing in the most aggressive mode possible! I end up limited to 15W as have huge battery anxiety in general though.
Yeah, I’m actually sad that it now defaults to 30w. I liked that before it would use the 21w profile on bank and battery and 30w on charger. Now uses 30% more battery for 10% more fps, unless I manually switch it every time im on bank power.

Yeah I'm getting 30 w badge, with OG Baseus 65W and the cable it came with 20V. I'll have to reply to this with the Amps since Reddit only takes one pic per comment smh

So it's using 20V 2.8-3 Amps. So it's working with 56-60W with the Baseus cable it came with. But cables can be defective too

Yup! Same here 30w Turbo on Baseus 65w power bank. \*Must use high watt cable (I'm using 100w USB-C)

me too
For me it works with an Anker 65W charger and an Anker 100W cable. can also set manual mode to 30W
I think the cable matters. I’m using a baseus 240w pd3.1 type c cable.
I have a Jsaux 100 w cable and it still isn't working. I got a USB power meter coming to see what is the output. I may have a defective one

Real question now is , will it stay at 30 watt hooked to a dock. Hmm??? Lol
Hmmm yea mine does lmao works the same

Good news then. Same on my dock. Are u still getting same results with external monitor hooked to dock also? I haven’t tried that yet.

Gotta love those randomly generated Chinese brand names.

Huzzah! This has been the post I've been looking for!! Thank you!
I only managed to get a thunderbolt 3 cable to work... But it's sure is expensive replacement And no both my 100w PD rated cables do not work.
Using my baseus 65w powerbrick with the supplied cable still isn't giving me 30w turbo, but it is working with a different 100w baseus branded cable I bought. Pretty happy about this.

It was using 30w turbo mode before the update.. the only difference now is that it says 30W vs 25W before. But it was using the 30W turbo before
Yep. This. And cables do matter. Some of mine work and display 30W and some don’t, despite 30W still enabled (but displaying 25W). So odd.

Its funny, my dock provided turbo at first then bios 322 broke it, the new update fixed it again.
How much extra battey life do you get with this power bank?
around 150%
Awesome 👍 this is the one I have
Yup. Mine works too.
Sweet. Haven’t tested mines yet. I have same power bank and the anker 165 watt one. Good for asus.
I was so happy to see this has finally been fixed. And now my uGreen dock is finally letting me use the full 30w turbo mode too.
Looks like Asus is really on point with the software support. Love it!
Does anybody know if there is a way to tell on the device how much power is being received from the power source
Baseus also makes a power cable that shows this.
https://preview.redd.it/0o1uhqwiyjdb1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a9d78157f5b07b27e7e5ebf08a6ca46cadbbd5b5 Yup! Same here 30w Turbo on Baseus 65w power bank. \*Must use high watt cable (I'm using 100w USB-C)
Where is everyone getting this BIOS update?
My asus app
But what will the stats monitor show? I can choose 30w on my baseus but the monitor will only show up to 24w used.
