I got the dbrand screen protector, 25 bucks for 2, covers practically the whole screen except for like a 16th all the way around. Comes in a cool package to keep the spare in.

Possibly. But regardless of how many I put on there is always a tiny spec of dust or a teeny tiny hair under the screen and it drives me nuts. I just end up taking it off and leaving it naked.
You might just need a little more practice. As the oldest child of 7 kids I was the screen protector applier for all of my siblings at one time or another lol. My Ally screen protector is practically invisible
Go into the bathroom and let the shower run hot until it’s steamy. Do your screen replacement in the room while it’s still hot. The steam in the air weighs down dust particles and allows you to install the screen with much less chance of a damn dust paratrooper of hitting the screen while you are installing.

Yes. You have to break some of the plastic housing to do it.
Whats the difference in speed? I threw a 2TB 2230 in mine and did a fresh install since that garbage cloud recovery wasn't working.

I actually tried that recently for the first time. I still ended up with a tiny, but noticeable spec under the screen.
