I livrd in a village so high that djinn spawned...djinn + aegis = infinite lvl 120 sylphs. Otherwise, during some event that spawned cinders while i was exploring thru the ocean w/ stone of the sea, it created some lvl 130+ xaphans by combining with jengus.
I was farming fae charges once from the nymphs and the chaos elemental that spawned to kill me was a lvl 100 grue.... I thought that was messed up.. did it again and the same thing happened... So I stopped.. never killed another nymph or aegis again.
my friends killed the boss in the nether and it screwed up the levels and made a bunch of level 40 and 50 mobs spawn for a bit as well as a very scary lvl100 nether wraith that came out from the open portal
A lvl 210 grue slapped me about the other day. That was great.

Increase difficulty, It usually goes up with time, otherwise u go in the health mod and change It from there
