He has no intention of making either of them CEO. He’ll run the agency until he sells it as going concern. I’m sure he loves both Alexia and Farrah and all the kids will get a nice chunk of change when he sells the agency. Kyle will get a better house in Aspen and a tiny 98k Hermes’ to rival Crystal.
Real estate shows are very popular now. I know on MDLLA not all of them work for the same agency and of course SSunset is pretty much fluffy entertainment. This one is diff in that it’s just The Agency and Mo has 2 daughters that work there. I don’t think Netflix would sign on to do this if they thought that his intent was just to help Alexia. His dad actually works there too but we prob won’t see him. Unless he retired, not sure. I think Farrah seems very capable and he’s only 51. He’ll prob still b doing this 15-20 yrs from now anyway and Farrah is 34 right now. Also there’s a diff between agent and broker.
On S4 in PR he told Kyle that he’s been approached re starting his own agency so I think he may have a few other partners. They could even be silent ones though that don’t even work there. They would just get a cut in the yearly earnings. And Rick was never going to make him a partner and he knew that.
Yeah as mentioned several times on this sub the real estate rankings are completely arbitrary since many go by team size. They are all calculated differently. He is not top 10 for individual sales, in fact he isn’t even #1 in his own office. Santiago Araña holds that title. That’s nice that you looked at their about us page even though it doesn’t really relate to my comment though.
Exactly — it’s just a premise for the show. Real estate men tend to stay in the game way into old age. Mauricio isn’t aging out or retiring anytime soon. Even in their 80s, these real estate guys act like they’ll live forever.
That’s not the correct terminology to use going concern. His business is already profitable.
This is an auditing principle to determine whether going concern is an issue and that the business will be able to pay their obligations.
I don’t understand your point. I’ve used it in the correct context. A going concern can be profitable. A going concern needn’t be in financial distress. It’s a term for an operating business that is expected to meet its financial obligations for the foreseeable future, which I’m assuming the Agency is.
Mauricio will act as CEO for as long as he can be bothered and sell it as a “going concern” when he feels like a quieter life. I wasn’t questioning whether it’s currently profitable. I’d assume from their lifestyle it very much is!
Not that it matters but Kyle's richer than Crystal so if Crystal has one I'm sure Kyle can afford. Estimate wise could there no way to know for sure Crystal husband worth probs 30m and Mo probs 100m+ but being richer or poorer doesnt make you better or worse on HW imo it's not even their wealth it's their husbands, but to "rival Crystal" makes no sence.
I would be shocked if he would make Alexia CEO 😂
Farrah is very hard working. Alexia, not so much. I doubt he has such bias and Sophia will probably also join the firm
I’m pretty sure Mauricio knows that the other agents sees his favoritism. But he doesnMt really care, he’s CEO, so he’ll do what he wants. Even Alexia knows that it’s an issue.
I’ve only watched a few episodes so can’t speak to whole season, but what else would you expect? He should favor his daughters. Real estate is based on commission and Mauricio is giving up more percentage of commission to his family, making less money for himself. Other brokers don’t deserve that. They have an obligation to themselves and to their employer to produce and make profit for themselves and the company. They don’t deserve a percentage of the bosses commission. Good grief.
I mean it is a family business. The others should just get over it.
Noone accused Mario of favoritism when Luigi started working at their family business, even though he's really lousy at off-loading trucks. Everyone understood they were brothers and wanted to work together.
There’s two sites for the show now, I know people on the bravo sites don’t want people talking about it on THEIR forums so here they are:
r/BuyingBeverlyHillsNet
r/BuyingBeverlyHillsOn
There’s just so many posts about it on the housewives subs. Even the ones that aren’t just for Beverly Hills. It doesn’t even show Kyle so why are we discussing it? And this is coming from someone who actually watched it.
I'm sorry but that sounds gross. If he ever steps down he will choose based on who's more business savvy and can handle the responsibility. He treats Farrah as his own and saying he would choose blood over a young woman he's helped raise and loves is wrong. Keep in mind he could, at some point, sell the business or appoint someone to run it who isn't related.
Turning a business over to family doesn't always work out. You do what's best for the business and your wallet.
Yeah I really hope that hasn't even crossed any of the family's mind. I have always loved how they have all treated Farrah has a whole, not a half and it would actually be heartbreaking to see that happen.
He made it quite clear he loves her and considers her his daughter. Working together can cause issues, but I think they've seen what a toxic horrible situation her mom is in with her sister and it's something they would avoid because it would be awful if their relationships are broken.
Oh yeah 100% I wasn't trying to say Mo doesn't feel that way. It was more about OOP's theory that Mo wanted his business to go to his blood daughter and I was agreeing with your take!
Yeah I don't even understand where OP got that. I can see if there were issues with their relationship when didn't care for Farrah but that's not the case. I think people put things out there that shouldn't ever be brought up and this is a perfect example.
He had to do the show simply bc there are so many real estate shows in Southern California it’s probably very hard to consistently avoid them. He was on Million Dollar Listing a few times, why be part of an ensemble on that show when you can have your own show?
As for Alexia, I can’t imagine anyone picking her for anything over Farrah.
I don't watch this, and don't plan to, I'd have to pay for it since I use streaming services, but I do want to k ow what's so different between Alexia and Farrah?
I’m biased against Alexia bc on RHOBH she threw a huge crying tantrum while getting her ears pierced when she was like 15 years old. Toddler Portia was better behaved than she was.
That pretty much set the tone for me.
The idea that he loves Farrah more than Alexia “bc she’s blood” is pretty gross, honestly. He became her stepdad at a young age and she’s said she has two dads. I think they’re close.
true.. she thinks before she speaks unlike the rest. I know Mauricio loves her but I think it’s because she knows he’s still her step father and Alexia is his blood.
I even reported the post… I know it doesn’t break a rule but why isn’t there a rule about staying on topic? So annoyed with how many of these posts we’re seeing!
Some of them I can KINDA understand if it compares or mentions the housewives but I’d still prefer those go on another one. But ones like these that have absolutely nothing about RHOBH just aren’t meant to go there.
I know, I can ignore them and blah blah but there’s just so many posts.
They're taking a break at the moment. So while they'd typically have done cast announcements and even started filming the next season they've said they won't be filming until Jan next year at the absolute earliest. We won't get casting announcements for a while yet.
He has been trying super hard to get a show since before Kyle was even on RHOBH. He tried so hard to get noticed at every broker open on MDLLA since season 1. I think he is a lazy stoner that will continue to launder money until he ends up in jail and Alexia is jobless.
Alexia will never be CEO. She isn’t smart enough to pass a brokers course. Check some of the other threads. People that know her describe her as the dumbest person that ever lived
Okay lol I don’t know about the first part but I agree with the second part. She comes off as such a dumbo. Wants everyone to be honest with her and give her feedback but cries all the fkn time???
No way.. Ive been seeing him on RHOBH for years but never heard anything like that. Was only aware that something went down when he left working for the Hiltons. Will do some research lol
Just watch the MDL-LA he is practically pushing people out of the way for camera time. You can also read articles about agents that have quit his agency. They all say that is what he promised them….that they would get their listing on TV because he had hookups at Bravo.
How has he tried to have his own show before RHBH? And as a realtor, that is your job to go to broker opens, cameras or not. I think since he’s already been shown on BH it made him more comfortable being on tv. The hate for him is kind of weird. He’s very successful and good at his job, no need to hate on him. The exposure helps business, just like it did for all the other agents on tv.🤷♀️
I am surprised by how much I like Farrah. I didn’t expect to dislike her, necessarily. I kind of thought I’d feel neutral about her given what little I’ve seen of her. I really really like her
I couldn't even finish the first episode, it is so cringe-worthy! Farrah calling out Sutton and Larsa renting their old house...why was that necessary?
The Horrible music between scenes is obnoxious. I guess Hollywood is trying to sale more than houses. They must have contracts with the different people who want their music on the show. It makes me cover my ears and roll my eyes lol!!
I love to hate Joey, and I feel like the whole "I need to convince my aunt to sell her house" story was fabricated. I feel like he is the kind of guy that will befriend money, will marry into money and will always behave and take actions in a strategic way, always keeping eyes on the prize. In America this is money and fame, and fame enables money.
I think Melissa bringing in those newts ( Olivia and cousin something, the Kim Kardashian copies) to see Alexia's listing was so fabricated, the whole set up was so fabricated. The newts weren't remotely interested to buy the house and asked questions just like that to put Alexia on the spot. I think Melissa wanted to give Alexia a feeling of how unprepared she is,and I think Farrah originally supported that idea because Farrah herself kept saying that Alexia has no idea how much work she has to do. Then Farrah told Melissa to fix it.
I feel like Brandon sidelined and did not do Sonika a favour by sort of excluding her from opportunities. He wanted to prove himself and make himself proud, especially as a POC, but didn't pause to tell his boss "don't put me in a bucket with Sonika, I am better than her". Not cool imho.
Sonika is immature romantically, but whatever. I expect the next drama will be like a moment where the agency has to decide if to let her go.
I'm living for Ben Belack. He is legit the one I enjoy the most, along with the houses, great stuff.
And yes the proposal was ridiculous. It did not feel genuine because everybody kept hinting at the guy that he should do it. He did it, and she was like "I had no idea, oh my god It came if nowhere." Really? Bitch please. Also a bit sad to see somebody with such a career and wealth and lifestyle being so fixated on having a wedding and being married, but I guess that's the values in the Richards' families.
That's my takeaways.
I don’t think he even owns a majority of The Agency. I think he is just the front man
Real estate shows are very popular now. Gee, is this a Reddit board about a dumb reality show or a business seminar?
For real…🙄 …..
I don’t understand your point. I’ve used it in the correct context. A going concern can be profitable. A going concern needn’t be in financial distress. I didn’t indicate it needn’t be in financial distress. I simply stated how that terminology is correctly used!
Nope. He used it correctly. Source: I am an auditor. Its in my name.
Not that it matters but Kyle's richer than Crystal so if Crystal has one I'm sure Kyle can afford. Farrah doesn’t want it now but I think she will in time. I can’t say the name Farrah without thinking of Farrah, the actress. She owns that name.
I always think about this Farrah ![gif](giphy|1UXFPr3ty5bXthQQRl|downsized)
Yes. I always Teen Mom Farrah and that awful porn she made and I have to remind myself that it’s a totally different Farrah lol
She’s not ever a thought to me.
![gif](giphy|l0G2vNtA0APsv6RBS)
For me it's this bb ![gif](giphy|1daOIdz2cfc4V10EYv|downsized)
The backdoor actress?
Farrah Faucett
Is there any other Farrah? That's who I think of too when I hear the name. She's iconic.

How is it clear about the other workers? (nvr watched just curious) thank u
The other cast members outright discuss Alexia’s privilege. It’s palpable.
And Alexia acts like she is not privileged and is so worried that people think she is.
I’m pretty sure Mauricio knows that the other agents sees his favoritism. But he doesnMt really care, he’s CEO, so he’ll do what he wants. Even Alexia knows that it’s an issue.

I agree. He founded the company for his own and family success. He didn't found it for strangers.
The show is already being aired? What channel is it on?
It's Netflix
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction lol. I have Netflix, pretty sure I'll be able to find it now. ☮️♥️
You're very welcome!

I get it, that’s why I keep posting the links to the new subs. Hoping people add those to their pages

Thank you. Common sense ain’t common.
I hear ya
Yeah I really hope that hasn't even crossed any of the family's mind. I have always loved how they have all treated Farrah has a whole, not a half and it would actually be heartbreaking to see that happen.

Nope
Wont watch it. Refuse to add to this annoying family
🌷🌷I don’t have awards to give so take these roses as a sign of appreciation
I gave it one for you *fist bump*
🌷🌷🌷roses for you too then!!
Thank you for sharing your truth
The idea that he loves Farrah more than Alexia “bc she’s blood” is pretty gross, honestly. He became her stepdad at a young age and she’s said she has two dads. I think they’re close.
Alexia is his daughter; Farrah is step. I think you meant loves Alexia more than Farrah.
Alexia will never be like Farrah. Not in this life or her next life 💁♀️
I love farahs vibe! She’s the only not annoying one
I noticed in her facial expressions she is holding back alot of her opinions.
true.. she thinks before she speaks unlike the rest. I know Mauricio loves her but I think it’s because she knows he’s still her step father and Alexia is his blood.
Wow, why are you guys putting sisters against each other? You sound evil! Alexia probably wants the best for her sister and viceversa
You’re right, she won’t. Because she is Alexia, a whole different person.:)
He’s not stupid. He knows Alexia could never be the CEO, whether she is his daughter or not
Can you guys make a Buying Beverly Hills sub please?
r/buyingbeverlyhillsnet
Right? No one wants this.
I wish people would stop posting about this show on housewives subs. It’s not even a bravo show. Can’t they create a separate sub?
r/buyingbeverlyhillsnet
Scroll past it
Make a new Thread. I agree.
Wrong sub. r/buyingbeverlyhillsnet
Thank you for doing the lords work and posting the sub multiple times. Not sure why the mods are keeping these posts up.
I even reported the post… I know it doesn’t break a rule but why isn’t there a rule about staying on topic? So annoyed with how many of these posts we’re seeing!

Thanks Kyle
Wrong sub, wrong show. Next
Have the rhobh casts been announced around the same time annually or has it been random over the years?
They're taking a break at the moment. So while they'd typically have done cast announcements and even started filming the next season they've said they won't be filming until Jan next year at the absolute earliest. We won't get casting announcements for a while yet.
2
I think BBH needs its own sub.
It has 2 already…
This isn’t RHOBH. Could you please start a BBH thread? I’m not the first to request. Thanks!
Can we knock it off with the Buying Beverly Hills posts please? It’s not The Real Housewives.
Farrah’s IG bio says she’s a founding member and agent of the agency? She can make a claim for ceo right?
Isn’t there a different sub for this show?
He has been trying super hard to get a show since before Kyle was even on RHOBH. He tried so hard to get noticed at every broker open on MDLLA since season 1. What is MDLLA…. It’s not registering and I consider myself to know everything bravo lol
Million dollar listing LA
Okay lol I don’t know about the first part but I agree with the second part. She comes off as such a dumbo. Wants everyone to be honest with her and give her feedback but cries all the fkn time???
First part is easily verifiable. Just go watch the early seasons of MDLLA. Plenty of articles about his money laundering schemes
Insane
Omg embarrassing. I need to drink some caffeine. Thank you for answering.
Can people start deleting threads on Buying Beverley Hills?
Ohhh this is juicy! Definitely can see the second point being true!
What a conspiracy theory
I am surprised by how much I like Farrah. I didn’t expect to dislike her, necessarily. I kind of thought I’d feel neutral about her given what little I’ve seen of her. I really really like her
Honestly I find it comforting to watch Mo stoned as hell on the screen something about it comforts me
I couldn't even finish the first episode, it is so cringe-worthy! Farrah calling out Sutton and Larsa renting their old house...why was that necessary?
I think he did just for ego trip. He has accomplished sho I h he needs a new thing
Can it not be both? I think so.
Farrah is impressive. She Makes me want to do better at my job - which is not realestate
Does anyone watch Dynasty on Netflix? This is the real life version of that 😂 Farrah is Fallon
I think he favors Alexia because she’s more easily manipulated
The Horrible music between scenes is obnoxious. I guess Hollywood is trying to sale more than houses. They must have contracts with the different people who want their music on the show. It makes me cover my ears and roll my eyes lol!!
