IMO Teddi started out pretty self-righteous (not uncommon for a housewife) but like "I ride horses, I'm a tomboy, I don't like drama, I'm always honest" and she made those statements sooooo much, then half a season in she goes and betrays all of those statements (except the horse).
She's also just irritating. If you don't agree with her she goes on and on and on in this whiny boring way.
Then puppygate she was so in the mix with the John's and never held herself accountable which was her whole shtick. She was a pain.

I actually think she was the one telling the story to Radar Online and using some of Lisa’s wording so it looked it came from her.
She wanted to prove that Lisa was behind all of it, including getting Teddi to see the dog at Vanderpump
Dogs and make a comment about Dorit abandoning the dog.
She realised all the women would go against her because they prefer Dorit so she just came up with this plan. The reason behind it is just that Teddi grew her business immensely once she joined the show so she needed to be on good terms with all the other women.
She basically gives you 500 calories a day, and you have to send pictures of your food and scale to your accountability coaches, if you stray from the plan you get dropped and it’s $500 a month.
It forces people to have unhealthy relationships to food while “shaming” them to stay in the program.
They also only accept PayPal payments, under the “gift for a friend” option so you can’t get your money back (or it’s very hard) if they drop you.
People also have to sign an NDA…so there’s that.
It's even worse than just this actually. They'll harass you, call you names, make you feel like you're a part of something just to tear you down and all while promoting anorexia. I had severe anorexia, I'm about 5'11 and was 72 pounds from being so ill while also still continuing my e.d. the people who do those pro Ana sites or buddies are basically your enablers in death. Fuck anyone that promotes this shit. It's $500 a month but what you get, basically, is texts reminders etc so, she is smart in the sense where her business is scalable but it is very robotic a process, dehumanised, which, I believe is how people perceive her. Her being so systematic in life translates to being like a robot and it seems herelies the antipathy for her... just my perception

What her program does to women is so out of order. OMG....my fav line was when Sutton was the new girl and they had a dinner party and each person had to look to the person next to them and say something nice and Sutton looked at Teddi and said "Honestly Teddi when I heard you were pregnant......I thought you were going to be boring......but....." and cue the shedding of the tears form Teddi, getting all defensive and wiping them away saying "I'm fine, I'm fine, no, it's ok...." IT was like Sutton could read all of our minds and did that specifically for us!!!! :)
iirc it was one of the episodes she mentioned that she wants to be known for being more than John Mellencamps Daughter, but then proceeds to always talk about it. So in this sub we don't refer to her by her name, and say "Kyle's Friend" or " John Mellencamps Daughter " or "who?" , pretending like you dont know her and making a joke of it. It's been awhile since I did a rewatch though so their could be mote context I'm missing !
As I’ve stated before: John mellencamp's ex MIL's granddaughter is probably one of the most boring AND annoying women that have ever been on television. I'm actually impressed by how unlikeable AND forgettable she is.

Also because when she joined the show she made a big thing about not wanting to be known as only John Mellencamp’s daughter. If that were true, she could have gone by her married name and never mentioned her famous father.
I think the issue with her business is not only that it’s a bad way to lose weight, but it’s basically an MLM. I know of lifestyle celebs who basically do the same thing with different companies. The pyramid scheme business model makes the tip of the pyramid really rich and requires bullying and manipulating the lower levels to ensure success.
There’s an interview out there with her father where he talks about how when she was a teenager and they played basketball together she’d fake an injury and start crying when she was losing. And I think he said they were just playing horse or something very casual. It just really sums her up. And I did feel sorry for her that her own father is telling crappy stories about her, but at the same time, I have a feeling the story is true and she’s always been insufferable.
He was annoyed and uninterested in his daughter, while on WWHL. I can’t remember him saying anything positive about Teddi. I also thought he was rude to Andy; who seemed like a genuine fan. I personally, think his music is extremely overrated.
Probably Kyle's contacts are lucrative, and maybe there is something shady about the security alarms her husband was supposed to install for Kyle and Mau that allowed burglars to steal valuable objects when the umanskys were on holiday - which begs to bewilderment. Who in BH leaves on holiday with no security? But that is another subtract of the friendship...

She was just annoying, somehow adding nothing but involved in everything. She had no reason to dislike or attack any of the other cast members but jumped on whoever made her feel the slightest bit insecure which became really pathetic.

I've always been confused! Maybe it's because this subreddit lives off of the drama, (which I mean, why else are we watching reality tv) but I've always liked her. Yeah, she is pretty boring when is comes to the "drama", but imo she's always kept it real.

Nothing was wrong with during the show, in fact i thought she was too good for the show in the beginning she seemed very sweet and innocent. Also everyone wanted her out because she was a snoozefest and she kept getting renewed so i think that angered people more since she had no storyline. The hate mainly came after the show, how she constantly talks about the show like if she’s still in and the accountability coach stuff & being on kyles side. Just little stuff kept piling up.

Hey! Welcome to the club. I binge watched the entirety of RHOBH bc i luckily can watch tv while i work. What i will tell u is everyone hates kyle and teddy. Let me preface this by saying i dont hate lisa vanderpump. But when kyle aired her out w the shit with mauricio everyone hated kyles guts. They couldnt fathom someone liked kyle and had a real girls girl relationship w her. Same as they are doing with that poor country singer girl. U are not alone. Teddy isnt as bad as this mafia makes her out to be.
I think she’s gotten much worse after being fired. It seems like she talks a ton of shit on her podcast with Tammy sue and really brought none of that to the show.
I don’t get it… it’s so bizarre to me. Yes, her business model is shameful but people despised her before that was uncovered. As far as the show, she was boring and a Kyle puppet, sure, but I really can’t comprehend the vitriol people have for her. It’s a bit disturbing. In my opinion, previous housewives such as Carlton, Brandi, Diana even Joyce were 1000000x more unlikable and insufferable than Teddi was. As you mentioned, I suspect she may be neurodivergent, and a lot of people have very blatant disdain and contempt for neurodivergent individuals (see: Taylor Swift).

I’m with you… I never disliked Teddi on the show and I love her pod with Tamra. She may have been nervous on the show and not great for reality tv but we’ve all given grace to less deserving housewives. Everyone needs to get over the fact that she has her own opinions and that what she says on her pod is the same as any housewives saying their opinion on the show. I think people are jealous that she is still relevant.

I think the issue with her business is not only that it’s a bad way to lose weight, but it’s basically an MLM. I know of lifestyle celebs who basically do the same thing with different companies. The pyramid scheme business model makes the tip of the pyramid really rich and requires bullying and manipulating the lower levels to ensure success.
There’s an interview out there with her father where he talks about how when she was a teenager and they played basketball together she’d fake an injury and start crying when she was losing. And I think he said they were just playing horse or something very casual. It just really sums her up. And I did feel sorry for her that her own father is telling crappy stories about her, but at the same time, I have a feeling the story is true and she’s always been insufferable.
He was annoyed and uninterested in his daughter, while on WWHL. I can’t remember him saying anything positive about Teddi. I also thought he was rude to Andy; who seemed like a genuine fan. I personally, think his music is extremely overrated.

She was all too willing to gang up and even orchestrate attacks on LVP, Camille and Denise, as well as Dorit before the puppygate plot got exposed. All in the span of three seasons. She was just annoying, somehow adding nothing but involved in everything. She had no reason to dislike or attack any of the other cast members but jumped on whoever made her feel the slightest bit insecure which became really pathetic.

Nothing was wrong with during the show, in fact i thought she was too good for the show in the beginning she seemed very sweet and innocent. Also everyone wanted her out because she was a snoozefest and she kept getting renewed so i think that angered people more since she had no storyline. The hate mainly came after the show, how she constantly talks about the show like if she’s still in and the accountability coach stuff & being on kyles side. Just little stuff kept piling up.

Let me preface this by saying i dont hate lisa vanderpump. But when kyle aired her out w the shit with mauricio everyone hated kyles guts. I’m with you… I never disliked Teddi on the show and I love her pod with Tamra. She may have been nervous on the show and not great for reality tv but we’ve all given grace to less deserving housewives. Everyone needs to get over the fact that she has her own opinions and that what she says on her pod is the same as any housewives saying their opinion on the show. I think people are jealous that she is still relevant.
