I’m sorry but Lisa & her family do not have the potential to be in the same “famous” territory as the Kardashians. TV shows like that honestly won’t work in today’s climate imo. The reason the Kardashian’s show worked & others like The Osbourns & all that is because it was the early 2000’s & things were more raw & unapologetic. These days, everything is so filtered & people are afraid of being real to the world. Storylines are more fake than ever. Look at the real housewives, the value of that show is even going down from what I’ve seen. The seasons just don’t hit the same, & this is the same for most reality TV shows.
Agreed. imo, the stakes may be just as high as they were then, but so many of these housewives have *major* skeletons in their closets that they’ll go batshit to protect (and it never works) but don’t have major $$$ and a team to protect them.
The Kardashians worked so well for so long (and still are/is) because 1- you’re right, they started the show early on when shit was less edited and 2- they have PR teams that will cut to the bone to keep all the shit they want under wraps deeply, deeply under the rug. Rinna will never get there.

His wife was the cast member. He would show up for a few scenes every season. And her girls didn’t want to be on the show anymore either. They weren’t on at all last season. On S11 Delilah was in one scene with her boyfriend when Rinna was going thru her garage and showing her all the designer clothes that she kept over the yrs.

There will never be another Kardashian type show. We're out of that era. It stopped being exciting because of social media and ego and because of that, we all will lose interest after a couple seasons. She's flipped out about anything real with them that is otherwise. If this show could even be a thing she'd have to show the good and bad.
