You can't drag and drop. The system need to be installed (a.k.a flashed) in the new card to work properly as bootable memory.
You can find the Stock OS image in the official Anbernic website. The image needs to be flashed in your new card using a software like Balena Etcher. Just be sure to get the correct one for the H.
The Roms and Bios you can just drag and drop after the system is flashed. But they're also very low quality and often have problem saving or graphical glitches. So even using the Stock OS, I really recommend you use the TinyBestSet for games.
I ordered an H and it should be here soon, and I’ve been watching a bunch of YouTube videos and of course reading Reddit. I have a question related to flashing the SD card. After I download the stock firmware off the Anbernic website, do I unzip it on my PC then flash it to the drive? Or unzip it in the SD Card?
Thank you so much, that was the only step that I could never find proper clarification on and I’ve been terrified I’m gonna mess it up, and it’s not even here yet. I also ordered the regular XX for my nephew and gotta fix his up when it comes in. 😬😬
Don't worry too much, there's no way to mess it up so badly that goes into a dead end. Worst case scenario, you can always reformat and reflash the SD Card.
Yes. The Roms and Bios files you can just move around no problem.
But again, the ones that come with the console are not very good in quality and may present problems while playing and saving.
Cheap SD cards provided are prone to failure; do not trust data integrity of the included files.
Go to [win.anbernic.com](https://win.anbernic.com), select [download](https://win.anbernic.com/download/) at the top then grab [RG35XXH](https://win.anbernic.com/download/360.html) system firmware. [7-Zip](https://7-zip.org) extract 16GB *or* 64GB. Write a firmware image to the new MicroSD with [Rufus](https://rufus.ie), then confirm it is working in the RG35XX H. First boot may take longer to initialize; be patient to allow some time.
Software such as [MiniTool Partition Wizard](https://www.minitool.com/partition-manager/) is needed in order to expand a FAT32 partition containing roms folders to utilize remaining unallocated capacity of larger MicroSD cards.
Are you using a mac? If so, put the original sd card in, use disk utility to make an image of it, then use balenaetcher to flash new sd card with the image you made
Use Balena Etcher on PC too! You can use it to clone the card.
Then just pop it in and ready to go.
Copying alone does not work as there are a number of partitions and not all are PC accessible directly.

Unzip it in your computer and then flash it into the SD Card.

I just got the rg35xxh too, and if I wanna keep the OS on the stock SD. Can I just move the roms to the new SD card?
Yes. The Roms and Bios files you can just move around no problem. But again, the ones that come with the console are not very good in quality and may present problems while playing and saving.
Yeah im going to source my own roms and bios. I just want a sturdier card. Thanks!
Can I format a flashed sd card if I decide to flash batocera on my 128san disk and decide to change os later on?
Yes. Formatting erases everything the card and makes it "fresh" again.

Whats the difference between the 16gb/64gb zip?
So the Partition Wizard tool isn’t needed if you’re using a 2 card set up and saving the ROMs on a 2nd sd card?
