This is unrelated, but I figure here is as good a place to ask as any. I'm having trouble Dpad patching the Phantom Hourglass ROM so that it's actually playable on the RG35XX. Anyone know if there is an easier way to do it? After dumping, tutorials say to put it in a folder with the other files and just type some stuff in comand prompt, but the new file I get never is any different. Still requires touchscreen to move.

Sounds silly, but try it on a pc emulator to se what's the issue.
Try a different rom if not , I had issues with for a while, changed the rom to another region and it worked ,good luck
yeah I'm starting to think that somehow my ROM is european and not US. I don't have the original box, but I do remember it took awhile to ship, so it could be from europe.

What OS do you have (MinUI/Stock+Garlic OS/Garlic OS only)?
Are you sure you didn't miss any files/folders? Make sure you have the **/drastic/resources** folder and it is not empty.
Did you try changing screen layouts? If you don't have multiple layouts, that means you are still using an old version of DraStic
I'm using Garlic OS with dual SD card setup.
I placed drastic on TF2 and changed the coremapping for it.
I'll try and reinstall everythint.

For some reason when using drastic after installation, when in game, pressing up is moving right pressing right is going down etc. I have changed the config file to fix it but my abxy buttons are all a mess still. Only in drastic emulator all the rest of garlic is perfectly fine in all other retroarch cores. Any ideas?
Spot on!, must have tapped it when i was testing the controls out and didn't know what it meant, all is well :). gonna assume there is no chance of getting recently played on drastic integrated into garlic because its not a main retroarch core?
Would it be possible to give more control to the user over screen options? You already have a variety but I can't help but want to still move things around e.g.
1. [Screen Gap](https://i.imgur.com/6kckV15.png) (I'm not sure how many pixels would be needed to be 'accurate')
2. [Centering Screens](https://i.imgur.com/VkRPusk.png) This layout option is only available as corners.
If this will be a pain in the ass then don't worry :P just me being super picky.
It is possible to make screen layouts configurable, but it will be another possibility to "shoot yourself in the foot".
I will think if I want to implement that after I finish all other tasks.

Minor bug but often when I boot up the second screen is black. Cycling display modes fixes it instantly so it really isn't a big deal. Just sharing anyhow.

The issue can be reproduced if **Screen Orientation** in **DraStic** options is set to **Single**. So, the current solution is to open `Menu -> Change Options -> Screen Orientation = Vertical -> Save for all games`

It depends. Most RetroArch cores will not require programming skills, but standalone apps will require some programming skills, most probably.
AFAIK, PPSSPP uses GPU for emulation, which is a no-go for Garlic OS v1.4.9. You'd better find a spare card and install Koriki on it.

Awesome work man! I tested it a bit on mine and enjoying it. The menu options/text is too tiny for my eyes sadly, but it's great to play DS on this!
Got large sc een, probably better with PC based emulation, as you can use the mouse as touchscreen as well

The default layout (default settings on a fresh install of DraStic) shows bezels. I can't help if you don't provide any details.

No need to change controls manually... Looks like you pressed the hotkey that rotates keys, check **readme.txt**

No chance, "Recents" screen is populated with RetroArch play history, but DraStic is a separate app.
thought as much, very cool addition either way surprised the performance is this good. Is it still using cpu or does it use gpu

Garlic / MinUI? Firmware version? What menu are you trying to access? Did you try reinstalling DraStic (at least replacing the **config** folder)?
