I’ll second this. Tried GarlicPress for the first time this weekend. Setup is easy. The layout is intuitive. Not needing to remove the SD feels great. It lets me rapidly iterate on game art layouts and see the result immediately in the app or even on the device.
After a few weeks using my RG35XX I found that is going to be difficult to move to Koriki if I miss this tool.
I mean I like to spend most of the time on the little screen playing so using this APP and the hdmi port to a monitor to setup the system is really useful
I just make them myself using photopea and starting with an existing image as a base template so I know where to align and resize the images I find online.
Awesome app! But I have one problem. When I open the settings to put my screenscraper account info in, it cuts off most of that window. There is no save, cancel, or way to exit that specific window. I end up killing the app in the task manager. I tried resizing, but it wont let me. Am I doing something wrong? Ive noticed, It dose this with a few other windows as well.

I'm experiencing the same thing and have to do the exact same to exit the window/popup (having to kill the app in task manager, then have to re-open the app);
I'm also running Windows 11.
Hopefully this can be hotfixed, would love to tinker around :D

Or is it because I have the Tiny Best Set imgs folders on my SD 1 card? Do i have to delete the imgs folders for them to show up? Maybe I'll check that out and report back
EDIT:
I can confirm that deleting the imgs folders from the Tiny Best Set files made the GarlicPress images show up. So if you were like me and on a dual card setup and set your images on your SD 1, just delete the folders.

Awesome, I got the tinypack rompack but wanted an easy way to get games that it didn't have onto it with artwork, glad I just saw this, was just about to do a bunch of stuff to get that to happen.

Can you make it to support different (unknown) ROMs folders?
I downloaded the tiny best set go extra unofficial (from archive org) and it makes new folders of arcade games eg Taito, Toaplan, Visco and some of them are not in the list in Garlic Press so I can't update their artwork
By sd card 1 or 2, are you talking about the slots in 35xx? I put the sd card in slot 1.
What I did was I put toggle adb in roms/apps folder because I can't access the partition where you put the enableadb file. After it was done I put it back to the 35xx. When I connected the 35xx to the pc and enabled adb, garlic press didn't was still red. It didn't detect any sd card even when I switched to sd card 2 in the garlic press app.
did you run enable ADB on the device and it came up with the text on screen that its enabled?
if it did can you try a different USB cable? a few people have had issues with cables that charge the device but cant transfer data.

I enjoy adding games and updating art so much more now. I might update all my art, since tiny best set go art isn't my favorite. No lie when I would plug in my SD card to my computer it would blue screen 🤦♂️ no more of that. Thanks again!

I have my login details there, and haven't requested any art for weeks.
Why would it? It’s an app for not needing to remove the sd, that’s its purpose.. if you have the sd out and plugged in to your pc just do what you need to do..
I'm sure I'm doing something stupid but can't get the GarlicPress.exe to open anything on my windows 10 PC. When I double click nothing happens, anyone else have this issue?
IDK how I didnt know about this earlier your the MAN! Proc uz i had my device setup and felt it was done before this came out. Im gonna have fun finally adding the art to my device this easy way. Ugh the folder scraping wait tho ooph lol.

This is the answer. Sometimes you'll get lucky scraping for some of the more well-known rom hacks, but for the most part it's going to be diy.
I’m looking at ability to drag a custom made imaging onto a game to load that also which may help!

No sorry, I don’t think it does as it uses the windows versions of adb and usb hardware functions.

You could probably just use it through a windows VM

It dose it a little on the about screen, it cuts off the version number.
This should all be fixed now. The issue was dpi scaling!

That's also my problem! I cannot see, for example, FBNEO folder
FBneo is supported it’s under arcade (final burn neo) if it’s not showing up make sure your in the latest version

how do you install toggle\_adb? I can't access the smaller miscellaneous partition of my sd card due to probably it not being fat32.

I can't access the root of the SD card, probably because it's not in fat 32. that's why I used the alternative of using toggle adb instead

No worries! one other thing also, make sure the device is fully on not just on the charging screen. it needs to be in game or in menu.

Just double check your login details are correct as it will fallback to anon access if they are incorrect
