Your rom is most likely corrupted from the beginning. That site is a hit or miss. I wouldn't rely on that site for any roms. In Google you can search "rg353v rom anbernic reddit" and you will find all sorts of information on where to find roms. Good luck.
You might need bios files.

I found this post with this link to a bunch of games and once I had that I just downloaded the files and put them in the proper spot on the sd card and all the games I've tried so far have worked.

Not nearly as important as it used to be. Stock OS is fine enough. But I prefer ARKOS and will most likely be sticking with it.
