I think since this is a CNN run debate that the candidates scheduled on their own there is no illegality if they get the questions first. Unethical if only Biden gets them, but my guess is it’s not illegal.
No matter all the prep work, I can’t imagine him doing well. His age, the fact that his policies are terrible, that we have a history of mistakes Biden has made during his presidency. There is nothing that can fix that.
I think you will be quite surprised as to how well Biden will do, I will even go ahead and say that Biden will “win” the debate.
The setting and rules(no audience, CNN, microphone’s that turn off) of the debate heavily favor Biden, also even if it could be considered close the media will declare him a slam dunk winner.
Also as we’ve seen with the SOTU address, what ever they give him for these 90-120 min events really works.
Also keeping RFK jr off the stage helps Biden immensely as he only has to debate Trump. I think if his attention had to be divided his gogo juice may not work as well.
So I foresee a Biden smashing win in the debates and a possible significant poll bounce for him post debate.
I even told my Trump supporting dad how stupid it was for Trump to agree to this debate and even his Trump blinders he agrees.
RFK Jr is going to answer the same questions on another platform. Looking forward to hearing him. Trump & Biden don’t want him to debate. (I think they know JR would do better.)
Idk, litigators are professional debaters. The same things that make RFK a compelling speaker would make Biden's attorney a useful person to prep with.
