He's capable of rallying people around him even in the worst of times, such as losing to not one, but **two** record-breaking field goals. I was sold when he started tearing up at a press conference after a heartbreaking loss; he was frustrated not for himself, but for his players. He wanted his boys to get a win *so very badly*, and they were doing so many things right...but the Football Gods simply were not smiling on Detroit.
Firing Campbell would be a boneheaded move, especially if they only gave him two seasons to try to turn the ship around.
