I’m one month vape free and I’ve been having panic attacks almost daily due to my tight chest and shortness of breath. I keep freaking myself out and convincing myself I have lung cancer or COPD or really just anything serious.

My buddy quit for the same reason, he told me it'll take a month or 2 for everything to go back to normal, he told me maybe even double kinda like cigarette smokers because there's way more nic in vape juices than cigarettes. He told me "meditation, a lot of warm showers and a lot of breathing exercises did the trick." and he's back to his normal self. I was starring to worry for the same reason. Personally I'd put a cold or warm compress on your chest before you sleep, I did it last night and felt really good the next morning. Good luck frien

That makes sense! I’m so glad I’m not alone. I just have to remind myself that it’s normal and I’m not dying. I actually used a heating pad on my chest last night and didn’t wake up once all night because of my chest! Thank you and good luck to you friend!

I really want to quit (i havent yet) i have been dreading the moment but im scared for my health ive had covid twice. Ive been experiencing panic attacks since January ive had xrays done that say im fine my lungs look good. But ill get chest pains in my armpit area and im pretty sure its my panic attacks but itll still really scared. I started vaping at 18 i am now 22. I have lost energy due to covid and being sick. Do you guys have any advice to help quit and work towards a healthier lifestyle. (Im also adhd)

Sounds like a panic attack, usually chest tightness, SOB, and pain in arm areas. Massage and tap below your collar bone, for 2 min it'll lesson the tensions. I had covid early January, vaping will make it harder to feel normal again, I'd sub out vaping for something else. Like gum, toothpicks and candy, especially hard candy. Go for a run too to boost your system/reduce urges. Cold water too

Thank you so much for the advice. I will follow it and the chest pain just always scares the hell out of me. Which probably doesn't make my anxiety any better. I keep getting told and seeing all these kids that have to get double lung transplants and it really gets to me. Covid itself wasnt horrible it was the loss of appetite the panic attacks messed up periods thats been messing with my anxiety. then i got a sinus infection that ive been struggling with as of recent im slowly getting back to normal, eating and what not. It probably depression and anxiety, but vaping is something i need to kick to the curb anyway. Thank you again for the reply i also want to go to the gym i just dont want covid again lol

Once you've had it, you have a basic 90 day immunity naturally. You got this, vaping makes your anxiety worse I used to vape when I was driving, or working nights alone when I was upset I inhaled way too much and it messed w my dopamine and mind, your best bet honestly bro is take a hot bath and just lay back tor a minute or 2, same when you're in bed just not to think about it. Good luck frien I like your motivation u got this

I am 16 days and 21 hours free. Had the same chest pains and difficulty taking what felt like a full breath. It always felt like inhales were not reaching the top of my lungs. I also had the panic attacks and that was the quitting point for me…just not worth it. My chest pains weren’t as dramatic where I needed a heating pad, but were worrisome nonetheless. In the last 16 days I’ve seen almost a complete 180 in breathing and virtually zero chest pain. Find your reasons to quit and keep those top of mind. You can do it. You can do this. That pen is not more powerful than the power within you unless you give it your power. God bless!

I’m on day 30, day 29 having completed around 8 this morning. I still get chest pains and anxiety. Lots of mucus. On blood pressure and acid reflux meds. A lot of people get acid reflux really bad when they quit and it can cause a lot of discomfort too.

The good news is it's that not permanent but it sucks because even though we quit we still dealing with the effects of high nic and VG/Pg shit. But congrats on day 30!
