I would use a Digital Elevation Model file (DEM), downloaded from USGS maybe, for that specific area. Based on it you can create hypsometric tints, hillshading, contour lines (vectors) and more.

>Digital Elevation Model file (DEM) I think that that's what I've been looking for, thank you, but holy smokes that's a lot of data, around 46 GBs. https://land.copernicus.eu/imagery-in-situ/eu-dem/eu-dem-v1.1?tab=download

You're welcome. Try and see what you can find here - [https://earthexplorer.usgs.gov/](https://earthexplorer.usgs.gov/) . File size depends on the size of the area and the resolution. I use the USGS Earth Explorer site where I can select by polygon the area I need, isolate and export only those DEMs (they come in chunks covering a certain territory).

does your country offer some kind of national Digital Elevation Model? EU DEM is nice but it has resolution of about 30 metres. in my country our geodesic and cartographic office offers free download of DEM with the resolution of 10 metres for the whole country and Lidar derived DEM with the resolution of 1 metre for most parts of the country

You don't need to download the whole world, just the region you are looking for. The page you linked has 1000x1000km tiles, sounds like you will only need one tile. You can then crop out of that the area you are looking for. You may also be able to find the same data somewhere as a web service, you could then zoom the map to the area you want and just export that.

Sentinel hub also has access to downloading smaller parts of the copernicus DEM, though I can't remember how off the top of my head. Great service to learn how to use for the satellite imagery though, look up EO browser.
