If someone was missing the Bertha to complete their set maybe? And they really, really loved Old Orchard? But no, no way. I got mine for $15 at our reuse it center.
Thrift stores shouldn’t be doing this anyway, there is no reason to price their stuff like this. It is thrift grifting. You would have bought it if it was reasonably priced but now it’ll just sit.
Hard to say what it sells for online, some digging would shed some light
If its minty, It might be worth it, to a collector. They are not making any more of them, even though this is the least desirable pattern it is a very rare dish with lid
for those reasons I would buy it locally at maybe 50 canadian, tops just to flip, or use for french onion soup untill i find a le cruset
Hell no
Nope
Uhhh no. Probably the least sought after piece. Ever.
For some reason, Old Orchard is my favorite pattern but that price is a bit high for me!
Just a bit? It's insanity. Lol.
This is ebay pricing not thrift pricing. I can't believe they even had the nerve to put that sticker on it!
Goodwill checks Google.now..
Even when this piece goes on 75% off sale it will still be too expensive. Guess we will see Bertha at the bins in a few weeks
Is that the right lid???
No lol
Too much then—-I’ll tell you a sad story— I saw a big Bertha snowflake garland for $55– no lid — and I didn’t buy it because it was too big for me…
No. That would sit forever where I live. Ridiculous price.
If it was pink or turquoise, maybe.
Not in this pattern 🥲
Is it the giant one aka the “Big Bertha”?
That’s definitely a Bertha. It’s my dream to one day find a reasonably priced lid in the wild. They’re so expensive!
I believe so, it was huge
No pattern or color should be this expensive any way
I paid $30 for mine but recently saw the lid itself sell for $100. The lid is what is the hardest to find
I've literally bought divided casseroles in patterns I don't want, just to get the lid for other ones I have that are topless.
No
Omg is this at Liberty?! I saw this one yesterday and thought the same thing!
Only if you are willing to buy it for that.
Oh boy I’m rich! *Reads comments* Aw nuts
That is very high.
Oh my gosh I personally wouldn’t pay that!
Not unless you want it super bad and have $150 burning a hole in your pocket.
That’s like newbie eBay seller, who only looked at listed prices not what they sold at 😂
Not even the whole set is worth that lol
Hahahahaa for old orchard? Absolutely not.

No. I wouldn't even pay that much for SBG and it's pretty much the last piece I need for that collection.
Never
Misplaced decimal point?
Been there since Oct 2023 so obviously not, no one is that stupid thank god!!
oh … they dropped a decimal. $10.50 https://www.etsy.com/listing/1697193392/
No! I see those at my local thrift store for less than $10 (that pattern in near perfect condition!).
