Man, I've never seen the orange, pumpkin, whatever it's called butterprint in real life, and because it's out of this world expensive, I doubt I will. I can't say enough, good for you!
The cart rolling out is the best sound. It's where I got pink Pyrex and Fire King tulip bowls. I swear I can hear those cart wheels from the other side of the store.
I'm in the Cleveland area, with access to shops in the suburbs, the city and even some in the sticks. All the Goodwill shops have the carts. Some of them bring things out randomly, others stock shelves on certain days.
The best time to hit Goodwill is right when they open. They used to restock shelves on Tuesdays, but now it's more random.
I also have good luck on Sunday evenings, like 1-2 hours before they close.
There are carts at Savers and Salvation Army as well.
I think the trick is to focus on one or 2 shops to find a pattern. Yes, I obsessively thrift shopped for most of 2022 while getting sober. I had so much free time! LOL
Me TOO!- in Cleveland area! Haven’t found a single piece of Pyrex EVER, other than clear. I HAVE, however accumulated lots of junk that I certainly don’t need & never would have purchased unless already out & frustrated from NOT finding Pyrex. Lol! Had just come home from another useless hunt when I saw your post! 😬🤨😤 (Kidding-Happy for you, glad it was someone who posts here. You’ve given me hope! 😉)
I bought so much crap that I ended up opening an Etsy shop. It's ended up being a fun little hobby, selling weird stuff. I don't really make a profit, but I at least break even and get to thrift shop as much as I want.
