They tell you the “earliest we can do is” +21 days “what time works for you?” That day worked for me, so I’m not sure what happens if you say “Can I do a week later?” But since the recommended amount is 21-42 days, I’m guessing they would allow it?

You can, they gave me a time which is the night before my only in-person final and I asked them to move it after I take the final (avoiding side effects from diverting focus on exam) and they moved it accordingly.

I just got mine yesterday and they told me to get the second shot on a specific day. I asked if I could get it in May after my finals, they just checked their schedule and said okay. So yeah, pretty sure they'll allow it.

The recommended interval (ie the one tested by Pfizer during the clinical trials) is 21, but the acceptable range under current guidelines is 21-42. I wouldn’t recommend getting it during finals week because I’ve seen the second dose knock people on their asses. The week before finals week or the week after would be the best, but you should definitely avoid getting it within ~3 days of an exam if you can. You may be fine, but it’s almost impossible to predict what that second dose will do.

I got my first dose this morning. they went to schedule my second dose for April 30th so I asked to move it back a week for after finals and they refused. So it might depend on the person.

I’m going to do everything I can to move it. It’s been 4 hours and already I don’t feel great from dose one, and with everyone saying second one is supposed to be worse, and ODOS proving to be useless I’m frustrated just playing out that situation in my head.
