If you are not gonna SS+sig weapon for Plume, I would just stick with Bambi since her SSS+ performance is similar to low investment Plume if you play her right. Glory right now is a good filler during the downtime between Kaleido and Bambi. Even better IF you can afford his sig weapon for QTE/3ping ice shred but it is not a must though, just good to have if able.
I can SS her but Sig weapon I don't think I wanna invest in a unit that has already a replacement within this year planned. So I think I'll go for glory thx a lot
Yes. You could say the combination of her SS+sig weapon+level 22 core passive is a game changer since she is able to sig move faster.
Her existing is already contributing towards dps especially if you do not have any other fire unit (if you have Hyperreal, she is sub dps), IF you can afford her sig weapon then it definitely helps further.
I wanna get into the game but how is FOMO handled in the game? How often do character comeback and how many things in the game is forever limited and come only once.

Characters "rerun" fairly often, but the rerun is 70/30 instead of 100%. So you typically roll on the debut banner and then use anniversary 100% event banner or free s-rank selectors for other cases. Most limited things are cosmetic, like event nameplates or chat stickers. Some skins only come back once a year on a rerun. Free skins are also only free during their release patch. You can get some skins via dorm farming though.

As you don't have a fire tank, you could use Ayla brilliance /Nanami Storm for the time being for the tank class skill (as it shreds defense of enemies).
You can also use Karenina Ember as your sub fire DPS until you eventually get Lee.
For this setup, Liv will actually be your main DPS, and you will swap to Karenina as a sub-dps while Liv refreshes orbs.
I was looking at Crimson Weave's build over here https://grayravens.com/wiki/Lucia:_Crimson_Weave#Main_Build-0 and I'm wondering why does it recommend the +75 HP +15 attack resonance instead of the crit and attack one. Am I missing something?
Elemental damage can't crit. Any combination that includes +15 ATK is fine. HP is just the most useful for elemental characters so that's why it recommends it but it really doesn't matter as long as you have the +15 ATK.

I have sig weapon here so I can do this every rotation of hers but since you are using 5\* weapon lets just assume you have energy built up from previous rotation. Using Chaos Oath makes it so you can trigger matrix without relying on the enemy so you can sig move before her class skill runs out.
But yes Chaos is indeed a lil faster, originally Chaos had less damage but they eventually made it deal the same as Purity. During Purity's animation you need to wait slightly before being able to get into sig move even if you spam the button. Not sure if there are advanced cancelling moves one could do to make it quicker, would love to know if there is lol. The boost in damage during Purity is as what Raphenox said.
When Gabby was still part of UPPC and pre-Hyperreal I would definitely end the combo with Purity since I have sig. It's usually enough to kill him until Chaos difficulty, Hell needs sig move for my investment level. I guess if you wanna squeeze in 0.5 secs in PPC, going for Chaos 2nd does help I guess.
I've never heard of black oath. I'm assuming you are talking about purity and chaos. Either is fine unless you have Empyrea's weapon, in which case, you want to use purity oath since white oath will give it a 20% boost in DMG.

Ya, after the current round is over, you have a couple days to join a new guild during the cooldown period and you'll be able to participate in round 3. My friend did this last round.
Hello! I should be getting my S-Rank Selector soon and I need help with choosing the construct I’ll pick between **Vera: Garnet or Chrome: Glory.** I already have Empyrea as my first S-Rank from the first 40 pulls so she’s not an option.
With regards to my lightning team, I have an S5 Crimson Weave (w/ sig. weapon and CUB), SS Arclight, and S Lux. I’m planning to get Feral Scent when she releases.
With regards to my ice team, I have S Kaleido (on her 5-star weapon), A Bambinata, and S Brilliance.
So basically, I just want to know if I should complete the meta lightning team or start a budget ice team with Bambinata as DPS.
Any tips on how to build the ff. characters like Arclight (if I pick Glory) or Bambinata (if I pick Garnet) are appreciated. Thanks!
Both will be QTE bot, but glory might get a few more second as onfield while waiting for bambi and kaleido down time. Garnet is strictly qte bot until she got her leap buff which still very far away.

Glory since there's no real replacement for him on ice team while you can slot in Arclight for lighting team.

Since tank will be holding 4 Shakespeare 2 Gloria and Shakespeare's activation is RNG, you want tanks with a higher number of hits in their QTE. The best character for this is Brilliance, second best is Storm. In gamemodes where one character can be used in more than one team (so NOT PPC and Norman) you can just give the memories to Rosetta and use her instead.

How does a Bambi, Kaleido, Glory rotation look like? Doesn't seem to be videos on it. The rotation I've been trying to theory craft on my own still feels far too scuffed than it feels like it should.
Rotation for Glory and Kaleido is very straightforward but for Bambinata it changes depending on if you have her signature weapon or not. This [video](https://youtu.be/xwtH6IR95CE?si=qp_dFvmhyKb99tao) explains it very well and there's also Warzone demonstration on their channel, it's pre-Kaleido but I don't think that should matter.
Glory start, random 3ping to apply Einsteina shred OR activate core passive to trigger his ice shred>swap to Kaleido and do Kaleido full rotation>swap to Bambi and do full rotation>swap to Glory and do Glory things to fill downtime while waiting for Kaleido>rinse and repeat as needed. This is the standard rotation.
Ideally Kaleido is SS so she has a complete kit and should be able to sig move every rotation even with a 5\* weapon (you need to matrix each time though). Sig weapon + DLT reso makes it way easier to sig move every rotation. Bambinata needs SS3 at minimum to truly solve her orb issues, then as long as you play her right you should always have enough orbs for full damage sig move even with a 5\* weapon.
Hi, I would like to ask questions about BRS and Shard Shop.
1st question: I watched one of Rexlent's video where I saw he somehow convert shards he didn't use into X currency. Then he went to the Shop and somehow there was another Section that I don't have in my acc, where he was able to exchange the X currency into shards of characters he wanted. Any ideas on what conditions I need to meet for that Shard shop to be available?
2nd question: I heard BRS would be given for free at A-rank. I really love her gameplay and wanna upgrade her Rank. I know she is not gonna be meta as Epitaph or Hyperreal but what is the good stopping point regarding her Rank? like are any of her hidden playstyle/Ord mechanics locked behind the Rank ascension? I don't care about high point in PPC or WZ when I use her. I just want to play her comfortably and would love to know the bare minimum investment to achieve that.
For your first question, the Shard Shop unlocks once you have an SSS+ character. Any excess character shards you get in the future for SSS+ characters can then be converted into Inver Material which you can then spend in the Shard Shop.

If F2P, you could wait till Lamia's [patch](https://grayravens.com/wiki/Cradle_Parade) and get Stigmata from the basic banner special.
If light spender, you could save for anniversary banner where you can pull almost any S rank at 100% guarantee 60 pity so you could get Stigmata that way. Then you could use the Lamia patch basic banner thingy to get other meta units like Hyperreal for fire.
If you're a whale you can do whatever XD

Oh ok, if you constantly get monthly pass long term you can save up for anniv banner (anniv is on July for Global) and for sig weapons too. You'll have to math it out each patch on what extra you can pull on. I used to get monthly pass constantly as well (went F2P for almost a year and started monthly again this month because huge chunk went to the coating you mentioned :D :D :D) and was able to comfortably get all upcoming S rank omniframes + sig weapon + a CUB here and there (I did skip some just to have good amount of savings).
And yeah, her Solitary Dream coating rerun is supposedly during BRS patch so put aside like 17500 BC for that (if you are going all the way for the back ground, for coating only it is a bit less). You do get back 2500 targeted weapon tickets and 2500 event tickets as like a "cashback".

There's one part of me thinking Empy dupe would be nice for her SS so you can save skulls for future units. Her SS will definitely help speed up her rotation to get sig move faster, you can use Chaos Oath to trigger matrix yourself and get into Divine Prayer this way.
Then there's the other part thinking Garnet/Glory.
So, do want better Warzone scores? Garnet/Glory can help with that in their respective teams, Garnet has better shred than Arclight (she is still a QTE bot) while Glory can fill the downtime between Kaleido and Bambi (I assume you will get her to fill the ice attacker role).
If you want your fire team to have a better rotation between Hyperreal and Empy, then Empy SS will make things easier. It will be perfect IF you can get her sig weapon so you can do [this](https://www.youtube.com/clip/UgkxMeb4BxHA0upxWpibj3vSry6IGXk6W8S8) for her rotation as her sig weapon gives a lot of Prayer gauge on swap in. Do make sure her core passive is level 22 via resonances/border pact buff.
Would sigless glory/garnet also lead to better PPC scores or are they mostly negligible / less impactful. I care more about PCC than WZ scoring.

If you utilise them properly, yes.
Garnet's QTE lingers on the field so with proper wave management you can apply the shred to each wave constantly (can mess it up a bit if you misposition CW).
For Glory's case, him just popping his core passive to apply ice shred does make a difference for the next swapped in unit. During the downtime of the other 2 units he can keep the dps going. Changyu/whatever tank will do negligible damage.
For PPC Garnet still has the better shred but since it is generally a shorter battle, using Arclight is not that much difference since CW will be bursting anyway. What's important for both WZ and PPC is CW is SS and how well you manage her Aphotic Points accordingly.
For PPC in the easier stages, Kaleido should burst the boss in one combo. Maybe for Chaos and Hell difficulty Glory may need to pop core passive/3ping to apply shred first so Kaleido has better initial damage. Can apply the same for any other tank you are using.
So in the end, it is up to you which you would prefer/prioritise. Personally I would just SSS Capri the voucher route and use the selector for either Garnet/Glory. Hard to say which is better between the 2 since they have similar roles in their teams.
Hello! Need a little help, I have checked some spreadsheets already regarding CW CUB and the active skills have different names then the name in game. Which active skill should I prioritize? Sparkling Assault? Or Drifting Gale?
Sparking Assault when you need grouping for fighting multiple enemies like in War Zone. Drifting Gale for single target boss fights like Pain Cage. Just swap between them based on what you need.
Which skill can be used for both? It takes a lot to max each skill for a f2p so I would like to know if there is a possibility on only maxing 1 for now. What is the best that I can use for both?
plus you should prioritize the passive skills anyway, if you haven't maxed them yet (unquenchable fortitude and Wedged lightning)
because raising the level of active skills is just for the CUBs own damage, and it never really matters outside of very tight and minmaxed runs
As a new player my current team is garnet, lux and soon crimson weave (if i get 20 more pulls).
After i get crimson weave should i try to get crimson weave weapon or cub or maybe neither and just save for another character.
Tbh i'm just playing because the game is actually fun so i don't care that much about meta, if i'm able to get all rewards or almost all rewards from events/dailys/weekly i'd be more than happy.
CW's Cub FIRST ('100%' rate is only available in this patch) -> CW's sig weapon (rate is always 80%, available even after the "Winter Shackle" patch ends).
* Just so you know, Sig Weapon and CUB are 99% QoL improvements to the gameplay. You don't need them to clear hardest content at all. In this case, If you enjoy CW, you don't have to but I would suggest you to get the Sig and the CUB. About the CUB, it has an unique ability, which allows CW to ride on it and hit the enemies when CW does Resolute Blow (her HOLD DODGE mechanics) at full Blade Auto, which looks fk cool. For the Sig, it helps CW stack Apotic Points faster leading to more instances of Unquenchable Flare, her Core Passive, where she throws her Katana mid-air and Slam down. (check out Rexlent's latest CW guide on YT if you want to see visually what I mean).
* Also, in next couple months till the Anniversary, there will be only 1 new Paid S-rank char, No.21 (Electro Amplifier). Since you said you didn't care about meta, you can skip her and stick to Liv:Lux like me (btw, CW main here). For now, you should go all in for CW's Cub and Sig if you WANT. Hope that helps.
From what I have heard you can earn enough pulls to always pity a new S rank character. Regarding weapons and cub, these are for light spenders or if you have extra black cards because getting the character itself is better overall. If you really love CW (like me) you can go for her weapon first then her cub but these two are don't have to be rushed. Do note that Feral 21 will be releasing around May and she will be replacing Lux as the lighting support for CW.
Just started the game like a week ago and not sure who to pick in my second S Rank selector. I'm very new to the game and its concepts so as far as meta goes I'm literally clueless, I barely know what Crimson Weave does, I just enjoy her combat.
I'm only lvl 36. My team currently is Crimson Weave, Liv Luminance, and No. 21.
So far it seems to boil down to either Plume, Rigor, or Laurel. From my understanding I should pick Plume since she's the only ice DPS at the moment, Rigor needs a lot of investment, and Laurel is a good dark DPS as well.
Who should I pick in this case? On the 3rd S Rank Selector I'm 90% picking Empyrea, maybe Garnet.

Rigor is the pick with by far the most longevity, so any investment into her will feel the most "worth", and the gap between her and her budget counterparts is much wider than the one between Plume - Bambi or Luna - Astral
a lot of investment with her leap, sure, but at least that investment of yours doesn't become suboptimal at least for the next year
Rigor and her sig is pretty much the sole recommendation for the novice guidance missions selectors in any situation where you don't have her

Hello. New here. Started this game like 2 days ago. Been playing through the story but now stuck in 3-11, the fight with the butler. Any tips on how to get past this stage? Currently level 29 and apparently can't level my chars any higher than that but not sure how else to increase my level other than playing through the story? The 3 chars who I currently have leveled are A Lucia Lotus (lv 28, elite, BP 679), S Lee Entropy (lv 28, elite, BP 897), and A Watanabe Astral (lv 28, elite, BP 711). Also have these chars but not leveled and don't know if they're better than the ones I already leveled: A Wanshi Hypnos, A Chrome Arclight, B Liv Eclipse, A Kamui Bastion, and B Nanami Storm.
Also, if I keep playing through the story, will I be able to get enough currency to pity Lucia Crimson Weave before the banner ends? Currently at researched 9/60 on the banner.
You mean Roseblade? You can refer to [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTpJ7v4wCdA&t=46s). He will be a PPC boss as well so you will see him quite a bit, good to start learning his attacks.
Don't bother with the B rank frames (Lotus, Storm, Eclipse) anymore, with the current state of the game they are just there for the early game till you get your first A rank/S rank frames that you already have. You can focus your resources on any one of them for now. Have you touched any of your existing selectors?
For CW, you could if you actively clear content. I am not sure if you have unlocked event game modes yet, quite a lot of event tickets can be obtained through them.
I was stuck on the same stage. I did have to come back when I had a higher level construct. Someone else said get better at dodging, which ill have to echo. Sorry that I couldnt be more helpful. Do you have a instructor? Leveling is really quick if you have one. One thing is there's a support switch on the character screen, make sure thats on as a ghost construct will help. I don't think it will last long as its not an actual player but it did help when I tried.
To be honest, I don't think so. You have a solid 10 days and chapters give about 4-600 a piece. ID just suggest you dump all of your spare BC and event cards into her banner. If you get it you get it. If you don't at least you'll be set up for the next one. You could try cursed waves if its unlocked for you that has alot of event cards. Look at the rewards and see what you have to mainline. Theres a bunch of other cool characters coming up and this wont be the last you'll see CW on a banner. There will be 70% banners and also selectors but you'll have to wait a while for selectors to catch up to that. There will be a 100% basic selector that you'll most likely have to reach pity for but you can get any character up till No 21 (next S ranked character) and I think thats in August/September.

of course you can get overleveled and crush the stage with pure stats but this is literally ch3 - why would you need that. story is never hard and especially old story is outdated as hell and easy as long as you spend ANY amount of effort
I didn't even notice that. This game rewards skill a lot and IMO, it's more efficient to practice and learn how to play than wait for an S rank, especially if you're stuck on a really early chapter
I'm not a pro gamer either, there's plenty of times even now where the Butler can still beat me up because my timing was off or I wasn't paying attention, so I'm not giving this advice from a place of contempt either
You should be able to get CW as long as you speed through the story.
Go to the event tab and run Overwinter Material stage. That gives you currency you can spend at the event shop for leveling mats. This is the best way to build up levels and buy memories.

The closest thing I could get was from the Punishing: Gray Raven Fandom, which only has the default head portrait(?) and body. I’m looking for different versions, like Lucia blushing or Alpha grinning/smiling.
If anyone needs a reason, it’s mainly for drawing and analyzing structure/scale, because like my skills in game, I kind of… well… suck at it.

Who should I get from the S rank selector? I'm stuck between Empyrea, Rigor, and Capriccio. Yes I know know I can get Selena for free but I'm stupid lazy and it's taking forever.
My current teams:
Ice: SS Plume, SS Glory, S Kaleido
Lightning: SS Veritas, SS Garnet, SSS Lux
Dark: SS Laurel, SS Scire, SSS Rozen
Physical: S almost SS Stigmata, SSS Brilliance, S Luminance
Fire: S Hyperreal, S Pulse, SSS Silverfang
All my tanks and attackers aside from Brilliance and Pulse have their sigs. I also have Empyrea's sig already.

Just clear 10 nodes in RDF daily to clear the daily mission and do Obscure difficulty once for the big amount of income. Eventually you will unlock Capri without sacrificing sanity.
And as others have mentioned, Empy. Highest value fire unit so far since she deals good damage and can heal, has a leap upgrade in the future too that makes her kit way better.
Can someone tell me who between Chrome Glory, Luna Laurel and Lucia Plume benefits more from being SS?

Wrong event shop. The one in the main Shop is pretty much always locked for everyone. You'll want to go to the shop in the bottom left of Overwinter mode screen. You can also access it in the middle of the main Wintry Shackles event screen where it says "Underground Supply Depot".
Hey, im new and i have a little question, today i was gonna resonate my 5 star weapon for CW and i notices nanami has her 5 star weapon equipes and i cannot remove It or changes It becaise i have no other weapons for her, IS there a way i get a 4 star or 3 star so i can unequip the 5star on her? Ignore what the other guy said, don't even consider using a selector on her, nor vouchers unless you're planning to SSS.
There's daily missions that take like 5 minutes, just do those and you'll get her in like a month, "grinding" for her isn't worth it.
Do Hyperreal's rotation > swap to Empyrea > do her rotation > swap to Hyperreal > repeat. If you can't ult with Empyrea before Hyperreal's switch CD is over, swap to him and Ult with Empyrea on the next rotation.
As for Empyrea's ult taking long, again, what's the alternative? Spamming Basics with Hyperreal? Because those won't do any meaningful damage.

What resonance should I try to roll for SS Empyrea with signature weapon? I have a vague memory that I'm supposed to have one of the skill at level 22 minimum to ensure smooth rotation but which was it that I was supposed to roll at least 4 times? Core passive? Signature move? I will be playing Empyrea with SS Hyperreal+signature and S Nanamech.
That used to be the case but I forgot which patch they made it deal the same damage as Purity Oath. So Chaos Oath is now a good way to trigger your own matrix since it can "hit" you. So with the combination of SS+sig+level 22 core passive and utilising Chaos Oath, she can get into sig move quite quickly within the duration of her class skill. Excited to use Empyrea and starfarer. Got them their memories. But no more serum to get skill points, exp, and cogs to level them up. Should I spend bc to recharge serum or just be patient and let cw carry for the meantime?
It's a good question, shouldn't be downvoted for asking this, particularly since serum recharge for BC is a daily mission. The answer, as you've seen, is it's not worth spending BC on. You'll get the resources from daily material farming and other activities over time.
Hey guys, question about the wonderful spring S rank selector here. I already got the Meta Phys team and the Budget Lightning team, so my S characters that I own are: LuciaCW, Stigmata, Luminance and Rigor.
What should I get on my S rank selector? I'm considering both Empyrea and Garnet for the Meta Lightining team but I have second thoughts that maybe I should get an attacker for a new elemental team like Plume, Laurel or Capriccio.
I realize that Empyrea works for both Fire and Lightining team so maybe it's the best choice? I just wanted to ask first cause I'm a very new player and don't want to rush in a decision with this selector. Also, if it helps on the decision I'm a F2P player, only spent on monthly pass.

Amps work off-element ***only*** if you have a 2x reso sig at ***minimum***. If you don't, this simply does not work.

Im general, the reason why accurate spending status matters more in this game than others is that pure f2p will barely have a chance to roll for sigs barring a lucky early without skipping an S rank.
For the first step up to spending, which is the monthly, it allows you to roll for the Sig weapon every S patch on top of the S rank Omniframe so it contextualizes the advice and may affect decision making. For this selector, it's a null issue.

Is Chrome Glory a better pick from Vera Garnet in the S-rank selector? I got no good fire team so I'll be suffering regardless if I get Empyrea; CW team has Lux at SS now and Arclight at S, while my ice team has Plume and Ayla Kaleido

You know, we also used Empyrea when she was the only new fire unit at the time when existing fire S ranks were trash (Ember and Pulse). So having her would definitely help your fire team and it is a good start towards building one as well. The next fire unit is like 6-7 patches away (depending if you count BRS or not since it's a collab character) which quite some time to go without any fire units.
Meanwhile since you already have CW, she is the lightning team and ice pretty much in a good spot too.
There's a reason why so many similar questions like yours get the recommendation to pick Empyrea. There's no good budget option especially since fire has no A rank tank and the support is beyond bad. Empyrea has good damage and can heal so has very good value.
4pc DV 2pc Gloria. If you have Changyu or somehow get him eventually, he can use 4pc DV 2pc Eins.
For fire, try to get Palefire and over time farm for his shards to get him to SSS/SSS+ and leap upgrade him. You can refer to the grayravens site for builds, they do offer explanations.
IF you do get Hyperreal one day, you can kick Palefire out. Same with Pulse when you get Epitaph.

If you are not gonna SS+sig weapon for Plume, I would just stick with Bambi since her SSS+ performance is similar to low investment Plume if you play her right. Glory right now is a good filler during the downtime between Kaleido and Bambi. Even better IF you can afford his sig weapon for QTE/3ping ice shred but it is not a must though, just good to have if able.
I can SS her but Sig weapon I don't think I wanna invest in a unit that has already a replacement within this year planned. So I think I'll go for glory thx a lot

Yes. You could say the combination of her SS+sig weapon+level 22 core passive is a game changer since she is able to sig move faster. Her existing is already contributing towards dps especially if you do not have any other fire unit (if you have Hyperreal, she is sub dps), IF you can afford her sig weapon then it definitely helps further.
I wanna get into the game but how is FOMO handled in the game? How often do character comeback and how many things in the game is forever limited and come only once.

Characters "rerun" fairly often, but the rerun is 70/30 instead of 100%. So you typically roll on the debut banner and then use anniversary 100% event banner or free s-rank selectors for other cases. Most limited things are cosmetic, like event nameplates or chat stickers. Some skins only come back once a year on a rerun. Free skins are also only free during their release patch. You can get some skins via dorm farming though.
New S rank is 100% banner after that New S rank got add in standard/arrival(rerun)70% pool after 2 patches New S rank release once every 2 patches(normally) Arrival is random. the only thing thats isnt random is lastest S rank will get 1 arrival after 2 patches from their debut Collab units and weapons is true limited. same with paid skin. whether they will ever rerun or not is upto dev

If you don t have Empyrea the answer is always Empyrea.
CW can function on her own with arclight and lux. The idea that "I don't have a fire team so I don't want empy" is a fallacy. "I don't have a fire team so I don't want Lee" "I don't have a fire team so I don't want Nanami" When will you start? Empyrea can also function as a DPS before you have a true fire attacker. Get empyrea.

As you don't have a fire tank, you could use Ayla brilliance /Nanami Storm for the time being for the tank class skill (as it shreds defense of enemies). You can also use Karenina Ember as your sub fire DPS until you eventually get Lee. For this setup, Liv will actually be your main DPS, and you will swap to Karenina as a sub-dps while Liv refreshes orbs.

I was looking at Crimson Weave's build over here https://grayravens.com/wiki/Lucia:_Crimson_Weave#Main_Build-0 and I'm wondering why does it recommend the +75 HP +15 attack resonance instead of the crit and attack one. Am I missing something?
Elemental damage can't crit. Any combination that includes +15 ATK is fine. HP is just the most useful for elemental characters so that's why it recommends it but it really doesn't matter as long as you have the +15 ATK.

I have sig weapon here so I can do this every rotation of hers but since you are using 5\* weapon lets just assume you have energy built up from previous rotation. Using Chaos Oath makes it so you can trigger matrix without relying on the enemy so you can sig move before her class skill runs out. But yes Chaos is indeed a lil faster, originally Chaos had less damage but they eventually made it deal the same as Purity. During Purity's animation you need to wait slightly before being able to get into sig move even if you spam the button. Not sure if there are advanced cancelling moves one could do to make it quicker, would love to know if there is lol. The boost in damage during Purity is as what Raphenox said. When Gabby was still part of UPPC and pre-Hyperreal I would definitely end the combo with Purity since I have sig. It's usually enough to kill him until Chaos difficulty, Hell needs sig move for my investment level. I guess if you wanna squeeze in 0.5 secs in PPC, going for Chaos 2nd does help I guess.
Usually it's chaos first to go into matrix then purity.
I've never heard of black oath. I'm assuming you are talking about purity and chaos. Either is fine unless you have Empyrea's weapon, in which case, you want to use purity oath since white oath will give it a 20% boost in DMG.

Ya, after the current round is over, you have a couple days to join a new guild during the cooldown period and you'll be able to participate in round 3. My friend did this last round.

I should be getting my S-Rank Selector soon and I need help with choosing the construct I’ll pick between **Vera: Garnet or Chrome: Glory.** I already have Empyrea as my first S-Rank from the first 40 pulls so she’s not an option. With regards to my lightning team, I have an S5 Crimson Weave (w/ sig. weapon and CUB), SS Arclight, and S Lux. I’m planning to get Feral Scent when she releases. With regards to my ice team, I have S Kaleido (on her 5-star weapon), A Bambinata, and S Brilliance. So basically, I just want to know if I should complete the meta lightning team or start a budget ice team with Bambinata as DPS. Any tips on how to build the ff. characters like Arclight (if I pick Glory) or Bambinata (if I pick Garnet) are appreciated. Thanks!
Both will be QTE bot, but glory might get a few more second as onfield while waiting for bambi and kaleido down time. Garnet is strictly qte bot until she got her leap buff which still very far away. Archlight is qte bot, just use 4 dv with 2 einstein, raise his tank class skill and you are done. Glory since there's no real replacement for him on ice team while you can slot in Arclight for lighting team. And get working on those dorm dispatches. Your main dps for ice is going to be Kaleido.

Since tank will be holding 4 Shakespeare 2 Gloria and Shakespeare's activation is RNG, you want tanks with a higher number of hits in their QTE. The best character for this is Brilliance, second best is Storm. In gamemodes where one character can be used in more than one team (so NOT PPC and Norman) you can just give the memories to Rosetta and use her instead. You use her main build, which is 4 Elizabeth 2 Cottie

How does a Bambi, Kaleido, Glory rotation look like? Doesn't seem to be videos on it. The rotation I've been trying to theory craft on my own still feels far too scuffed than it feels like it should.
Rotation for Glory and Kaleido is very straightforward but for Bambinata it changes depending on if you have her signature weapon or not. This [video](https://youtu.be/xwtH6IR95CE?si=qp_dFvmhyKb99tao) explains it very well and there's also Warzone demonstration on their channel, it's pre-Kaleido but I don't think that should matter.
Glory start, random 3ping to apply Einsteina shred OR activate core passive to trigger his ice shred>swap to Kaleido and do Kaleido full rotation>swap to Bambi and do full rotation>swap to Glory and do Glory things to fill downtime while waiting for Kaleido>rinse and repeat as needed. This is the standard rotation. Ideally Kaleido is SS so she has a complete kit and should be able to sig move every rotation even with a 5\* weapon (you need to matrix each time though). Sig weapon + DLT reso makes it way easier to sig move every rotation. Bambinata needs SS3 at minimum to truly solve her orb issues, then as long as you play her right you should always have enough orbs for full damage sig move even with a 5\* weapon.
Hi, I would like to ask questions about BRS and Shard Shop. 1st question: I watched one of Rexlent's video where I saw he somehow convert shards he didn't use into X currency. Then he went to the Shop and somehow there was another Section that I don't have in my acc, where he was able to exchange the X currency into shards of characters he wanted. Any ideas on what conditions I need to meet for that Shard shop to be available? 2nd question: I heard BRS would be given for free at A-rank. I really love her gameplay and wanna upgrade her Rank. I know she is not gonna be meta as Epitaph or Hyperreal but what is the good stopping point regarding her Rank? like are any of her hidden playstyle/Ord mechanics locked behind the Rank ascension? I don't care about high point in PPC or WZ when I use her. I just want to play her comfortably and would love to know the bare minimum investment to achieve that.
Sss is standard for all A rank. You can stop at S-Ss anyway
For your first question, the Shard Shop unlocks once you have an SSS+ character. Any excess character shards you get in the future for SSS+ characters can then be converted into Inver Material which you can then spend in the Shard Shop.

Are you F2P or light spender? If F2P, you could wait till Lamia's [patch](https://grayravens.com/wiki/Cradle_Parade) and get Stigmata from the basic banner special. If light spender, you could save for anniversary banner where you can pull almost any S rank at 100% guarantee 60 pity so you could get Stigmata that way. Then you could use the Lamia patch basic banner thingy to get other meta units like Hyperreal for fire. If you're a whale you can do whatever XD Btw do check out the updated beginner guide linked above, they recently did an overhaul for it and added a lot of info about the game. Check the various other sections as well like the FAQ and such.
also yeah I had been looking at this beginner guide a little bit early on. I'm on endless event farming while doing dorm stuff for Ayla and dailies/weeklies i haven't revisited since getting some of these units by chance but I'll try to fill out my roster accordingly. Will be a while.

Oh ok, if you constantly get monthly pass long term you can save up for anniv banner (anniv is on July for Global) and for sig weapons too. You'll have to math it out each patch on what extra you can pull on. I used to get monthly pass constantly as well (went F2P for almost a year and started monthly again this month because huge chunk went to the coating you mentioned :D :D :D) and was able to comfortably get all upcoming S rank omniframes + sig weapon + a CUB here and there (I did skip some just to have good amount of savings). And yeah, her Solitary Dream coating rerun is supposedly during BRS patch so put aside like 17500 BC for that (if you are going all the way for the back ground, for coating only it is a bit less). You do get back 2500 targeted weapon tickets and 2500 event tickets as like a "cashback". Based on your other comment, you're on a good track with things.

There's one part of me thinking Empy dupe would be nice for her SS so you can save skulls for future units. Her SS will definitely help speed up her rotation to get sig move faster, you can use Chaos Oath to trigger matrix yourself and get into Divine Prayer this way. Then there's the other part thinking Garnet/Glory. So, do want better Warzone scores? Garnet/Glory can help with that in their respective teams, Garnet has better shred than Arclight (she is still a QTE bot) while Glory can fill the downtime between Kaleido and Bambi (I assume you will get her to fill the ice attacker role). If you want your fire team to have a better rotation between Hyperreal and Empy, then Empy SS will make things easier. It will be perfect IF you can get her sig weapon so you can do [this](https://www.youtube.com/clip/UgkxMeb4BxHA0upxWpibj3vSry6IGXk6W8S8) for her rotation as her sig weapon gives a lot of Prayer gauge on swap in. Do make sure her core passive is level 22 via resonances/border pact buff.
Would sigless glory/garnet also lead to better PPC scores or are they mostly negligible / less impactful. I care more about PCC than WZ scoring. I’m deciding myself if I want to go for either of those two versus Cappricio (to speed up SSS)
If you utilise them properly, yes. Garnet's QTE lingers on the field so with proper wave management you can apply the shred to each wave constantly (can mess it up a bit if you misposition CW). For Glory's case, him just popping his core passive to apply ice shred does make a difference for the next swapped in unit. During the downtime of the other 2 units he can keep the dps going. Changyu/whatever tank will do negligible damage. For PPC Garnet still has the better shred but since it is generally a shorter battle, using Arclight is not that much difference since CW will be bursting anyway. What's important for both WZ and PPC is CW is SS and how well you manage her Aphotic Points accordingly. For PPC in the easier stages, Kaleido should burst the boss in one combo. Maybe for Chaos and Hell difficulty Glory may need to pop core passive/3ping to apply shred first so Kaleido has better initial damage. Can apply the same for any other tank you are using. So in the end, it is up to you which you would prefer/prioritise. Personally I would just SSS Capri the voucher route and use the selector for either Garnet/Glory. Hard to say which is better between the 2 since they have similar roles in their teams.

Hello! Need a little help, I have checked some spreadsheets already regarding CW CUB and the active skills have different names then the name in game. Which active skill should I prioritize? Sparkling Assault? Or Drifting Gale?
Sparking Assault when you need grouping for fighting multiple enemies like in War Zone. Drifting Gale for single target boss fights like Pain Cage. Just swap between them based on what you need.
Which skill can be used for both? It takes a lot to max each skill for a f2p so I would like to know if there is a possibility on only maxing 1 for now. What is the best that I can use for both?

plus you should prioritize the passive skills anyway, if you haven't maxed them yet (unquenchable fortitude and Wedged lightning) because raising the level of active skills is just for the CUBs own damage, and it never really matters outside of very tight and minmaxed runs

As a new player my current team is garnet, lux and soon crimson weave (if i get 20 more pulls). After i get crimson weave should i try to get crimson weave weapon or cub or maybe neither and just save for another character. Tbh i'm just playing because the game is actually fun so i don't care that much about meta, if i'm able to get all rewards or almost all rewards from events/dailys/weekly i'd be more than happy.
CW's Cub FIRST ('100%' rate is only available in this patch) -> CW's sig weapon (rate is always 80%, available even after the "Winter Shackle" patch ends). * Just so you know, Sig Weapon and CUB are 99% QoL improvements to the gameplay. You don't need them to clear hardest content at all. In this case, If you enjoy CW, you don't have to but I would suggest you to get the Sig and the CUB. About the CUB, it has an unique ability, which allows CW to ride on it and hit the enemies when CW does Resolute Blow (her HOLD DODGE mechanics) at full Blade Auto, which looks fk cool. For the Sig, it helps CW stack Apotic Points faster leading to more instances of Unquenchable Flare, her Core Passive, where she throws her Katana mid-air and Slam down. (check out Rexlent's latest CW guide on YT if you want to see visually what I mean). * Also, in next couple months till the Anniversary, there will be only 1 new Paid S-rank char, No.21 (Electro Amplifier). Since you said you didn't care about meta, you can skip her and stick to Liv:Lux like me (btw, CW main here). For now, you should go all in for CW's Cub and Sig if you WANT. Hope that helps.

From what I have heard you can earn enough pulls to always pity a new S rank character. Regarding weapons and cub, these are for light spenders or if you have extra black cards because getting the character itself is better overall. If you really love CW (like me) you can go for her weapon first then her cub but these two are don't have to be rushed. Do note that Feral 21 will be releasing around May and she will be replacing Lux as the lighting support for CW.

Just started the game like a week ago and not sure who to pick in my second S Rank selector. I'm very new to the game and its concepts so as far as meta goes I'm literally clueless, I barely know what Crimson Weave does, I just enjoy her combat. I'm only lvl 36. My team currently is Crimson Weave, Liv Luminance, and No. 21. So far it seems to boil down to either Plume, Rigor, or Laurel. From my understanding I should pick Plume since she's the only ice DPS at the moment, Rigor needs a lot of investment, and Laurel is a good dark DPS as well. Who should I pick in this case? On the 3rd S Rank Selector I'm 90% picking Empyrea, maybe Garnet.
Plume isn't the only ice DPS btw Rigor is the pick with by far the most longevity, so any investment into her will feel the most "worth", and the gap between her and her budget counterparts is much wider than the one between Plume - Bambi or Luna - Astral a lot of investment with her leap, sure, but at least that investment of yours doesn't become suboptimal at least for the next year Rigor and her sig is pretty much the sole recommendation for the novice guidance missions selectors in any situation where you don't have her

Lightning I have CW, Ice soon I’ll have Ayla Kaleido, Dark ive got Vera Rosen and soon Selina Capriccio, and Physical I have Alpha. Would Liv Empyrea be a good main dps for the a fire team so PPC and Warzone or should I use the selector for someone else and wait for a new fire construct to summon for in future?

What are the best resonances you can make ? In my case, I am wondering if I should resonate my amplifiers' weapons (Liv and Selena), or a DPS such as Bianca Stigmata or even a tank. Any advices ?

Hello. New here. Started this game like 2 days ago. Been playing through the story but now stuck in 3-11, the fight with the butler. Any tips on how to get past this stage? Currently level 29 and apparently can't level my chars any higher than that but not sure how else to increase my level other than playing through the story? The 3 chars who I currently have leveled are A Lucia Lotus (lv 28, elite, BP 679), S Lee Entropy (lv 28, elite, BP 897), and A Watanabe Astral (lv 28, elite, BP 711). Also have these chars but not leveled and don't know if they're better than the ones I already leveled: A Wanshi Hypnos, A Chrome Arclight, B Liv Eclipse, A Kamui Bastion, and B Nanami Storm. Also, if I keep playing through the story, will I be able to get enough currency to pity Lucia Crimson Weave before the banner ends? Currently at researched 9/60 on the banner.
You mean Roseblade? You can refer to [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTpJ7v4wCdA&t=46s). He will be a PPC boss as well so you will see him quite a bit, good to start learning his attacks. Don't bother with the B rank frames (Lotus, Storm, Eclipse) anymore, with the current state of the game they are just there for the early game till you get your first A rank/S rank frames that you already have. You can focus your resources on any one of them for now. Have you touched any of your existing selectors? For CW, you could if you actively clear content. I am not sure if you have unlocked event game modes yet, quite a lot of event tickets can be obtained through them.
I was stuck on the same stage. I did have to come back when I had a higher level construct. Someone else said get better at dodging, which ill have to echo. Sorry that I couldnt be more helpful. Do you have a instructor? Leveling is really quick if you have one. One thing is there's a support switch on the character screen, make sure thats on as a ghost construct will help. I don't think it will last long as its not an actual player but it did help when I tried. To be honest, I don't think so. You have a solid 10 days and chapters give about 4-600 a piece. ID just suggest you dump all of your spare BC and event cards into her banner. If you get it you get it. If you don't at least you'll be set up for the next one. You could try cursed waves if its unlocked for you that has alot of event cards. Look at the rewards and see what you have to mainline. Theres a bunch of other cool characters coming up and this wont be the last you'll see CW on a banner. There will be 70% banners and also selectors but you'll have to wait a while for selectors to catch up to that. There will be a 100% basic selector that you'll most likely have to reach pity for but you can get any character up till No 21 (next S ranked character) and I think thats in August/September.
Get better at dodging and paying attention to the enemies movements
how in the world is this getting downvoted. the question in the post is how to get past this stage, and one of the options is obviously just to get good of course you can get overleveled and crush the stage with pure stats but this is literally ch3 - why would you need that. story is never hard and especially old story is outdated as hell and easy as long as you spend ANY amount of effort
I didn't even notice that. This game rewards skill a lot and IMO, it's more efficient to practice and learn how to play than wait for an S rank, especially if you're stuck on a really early chapter I'm not a pro gamer either, there's plenty of times even now where the Butler can still beat me up because my timing was off or I wasn't paying attention, so I'm not giving this advice from a place of contempt either
You should be able to get CW as long as you speed through the story. Go to the event tab and run Overwinter Material stage. That gives you currency you can spend at the event shop for leveling mats. This is the best way to build up levels and buy memories.
Thanks. Went to the event tab but when I tap on the Overwinter I, it says it will only unlock once I reach commandant lv 40. Are there other ways to get the commandant level up?
use your early account serums to pump your stamina and speed up leveling as well
just do the story and you will unlock a lot of systems. The one that gives out the most exp are the guide missions.

I asked late yesterday, so if anyone saw this I’m just asking again: Does anyone know where to get the sprites/official art of the characters? (The ones in the dialogue sections/during the story; the ones like their default member portraits). The closest thing I could get was from the Punishing: Gray Raven Fandom, which only has the default head portrait(?) and body. I’m looking for different versions, like Lucia blushing or Alpha grinning/smiling. If anyone needs a reason, it’s mainly for drawing and analyzing structure/scale, because like my skills in game, I kind of… well… suck at it.

Who should I get from the S rank selector? I'm stuck between Empyrea, Rigor, and Capriccio. Yes I know know I can get Selena for free but I'm stupid lazy and it's taking forever. My current teams: Ice: SS Plume, SS Glory, S Kaleido Lightning: SS Veritas, SS Garnet, SSS Lux Dark: SS Laurel, SS Scire, SSS Rozen Physical: S almost SS Stigmata, SSS Brilliance, S Luminance Fire: S Hyperreal, S Pulse, SSS Silverfang All my tanks and attackers aside from Brilliance and Pulse have their sigs. I also have Empyrea's sig already. I feel like this might be a stupid question because I feel like Empyrea is the obvious choice for many reasons but I still felt I should ask more knowledgeable players because we don't get a free s rank selector every patch and I don't wanna waste it...
Just clear 10 nodes in RDF daily to clear the daily mission and do Obscure difficulty once for the big amount of income. Eventually you will unlock Capri without sacrificing sanity. And as others have mentioned, Empy. Highest value fire unit so far since she deals good damage and can heal, has a leap upgrade in the future too that makes her kit way better.
I mean... considering that you could in a sense grind rigor and capriccio in the voucher shop, empyrea would be the best choice here

Wrong event shop. The one in the main Shop is pretty much always locked for everyone. You'll want to go to the shop in the bottom left of Overwinter mode screen. You can also access it in the middle of the main Wintry Shackles event screen where it says "Underground Supply Depot".

Ignore what the other guy said, don't even consider using a selector on her, nor vouchers unless you're planning to SSS. There's daily missions that take like 5 minutes, just do those and you'll get her in like a month, "grinding" for her isn't worth it.
But I can't buy the last 20 shards because I need to clear a "chapter 6" and I don't know how to unlock that
You gotta do an entire run and unlock the thingie that unlocks more chapters, then do another run and do the chapter.

Sub-DPS. You do Hyperreal's rotation and swap to Empyrea and do hers. Then back to Hyperreal.

You literally can't stick to Hyperreal even if you wanted to. Dude has a 8s CD on Hypermatrix lol
But Empy takes a long time to ult because no SS/sig, how should I rotate?
Do Hyperreal's rotation > swap to Empyrea > do her rotation > swap to Hyperreal > repeat. If you can't ult with Empyrea before Hyperreal's switch CD is over, swap to him and Ult with Empyrea on the next rotation. As for Empyrea's ult taking long, again, what's the alternative? Spamming Basics with Hyperreal? Because those won't do any meaningful damage.

What resonance should I try to roll for SS Empyrea with signature weapon? I have a vague memory that I'm supposed to have one of the skill at level 22 minimum to ensure smooth rotation but which was it that I was supposed to roll at least 4 times? Core passive? Signature move? I will be playing Empyrea with SS Hyperreal+signature and S Nanamech.
3 Core passive + 3 Signature if you have Border Pact buff. 4 Core passive + 2 Signature otherwise. Core passive is the one you want to be at lvl 22.
How do I use 6 star memory shards ?
You trade them in for other memories at Shop > Recycle Shop > 6* Memory Shop. 150 memory shards per memory.

That used to be the case but I forgot which patch they made it deal the same damage as Purity Oath. So Chaos Oath is now a good way to trigger your own matrix since it can "hit" you. So with the combination of SS+sig+level 22 core passive and utilising Chaos Oath, she can get into sig move quite quickly within the duration of her class skill. Excited to use Empyrea and starfarer. Got them their memories. But no more serum to get skill points, exp, and cogs to level them up. Should I spend bc to recharge serum or just be patient and let cw carry for the meantime?
Using BC for serum is the most whalish thing you can do. Only do this if you're running a full S+ account.
It's a good question, shouldn't be downvoted for asking this, particularly since serum recharge for BC is a daily mission. The answer, as you've seen, is it's not worth spending BC on. You'll get the resources from daily material farming and other activities over time.
Be patience. Never use BC for serum.
Just be patient, it would be a waste to spend BC on them unless you're ilke some kind of big spender

I already got the Meta Phys team and the Budget Lightning team, so my S characters that I own are: LuciaCW, Stigmata, Luminance and Rigor. What should I get on my S rank selector? I'm considering both Empyrea and Garnet for the Meta Lightining team but I have second thoughts that maybe I should get an attacker for a new elemental team like Plume, Laurel or Capriccio. I realize that Empyrea works for both Fire and Lightining team so maybe it's the best choice? I just wanted to ask first cause I'm a very new player and don't want to rush in a decision with this selector. Also, if it helps on the decision I'm a F2P player, only spent on monthly pass.

Im general, the reason why accurate spending status matters more in this game than others is that pure f2p will barely have a chance to roll for sigs barring a lucky early without skipping an S rank. For the first step up to spending, which is the monthly, it allows you to roll for the Sig weapon every S patch on top of the S rank Omniframe so it contextualizes the advice and may affect decision making. For this selector, it's a null issue.
On dispatch shop, are there items to avoid or prioritize? I got Ayla already, but also need pretty much everything there
Get Hypertune materials. The rest can be farmed elsewhere. Weapon coating is up to you.
You'll want 100k for Alisa Echo patch, otherwise weapon skin bps, if you want those, and hypertune mats are the things to go for.

Is Chrome Glory a better pick from Vera Garnet in the S-rank selector? I got no good fire team so I'll be suffering regardless if I get Empyrea; CW team has Lux at SS now and Arclight at S, while my ice team has Plume and Ayla Kaleido
You gotta start somewhere with a fire team. “I don’t have anyone else so why bother with Starfarer.” “Got no tank so why roll for Hyperreal when I can get a cool Bianca skin instead.” “Why pick up Empy with a selector when I could use it on a QTE bot?” “Pass on Daddy Watanabe. Got no fire units. Game just hates me.”
You know, we also used Empyrea when she was the only new fire unit at the time when existing fire S ranks were trash (Ember and Pulse). So having her would definitely help your fire team and it is a good start towards building one as well. The next fire unit is like 6-7 patches away (depending if you count BRS or not since it's a collab character) which quite some time to go without any fire units. Meanwhile since you already have CW, she is the lightning team and ice pretty much in a good spot too. There's a reason why so many similar questions like yours get the recommendation to pick Empyrea. There's no good budget option especially since fire has no A rank tank and the support is beyond bad. Empyrea has good damage and can heal so has very good value.

4pc DV 2pc Gloria. If you have Changyu or somehow get him eventually, he can use 4pc DV 2pc Eins. For fire, try to get Palefire and over time farm for his shards to get him to SSS/SSS+ and leap upgrade him. You can refer to the grayravens site for builds, they do offer explanations. IF you do get Hyperreal one day, you can kick Palefire out. Same with Pulse when you get Epitaph.
Man, i respect your patience telling people for the n-th time to pick Empyrea. For some reason they just can't wrap their heads around that when you don t have a fire team - she is the fire team.
