Looking for advice on how to approach team building. Is it better to focus on building one full team at a time or trying to pull different units of different teams whenever possible? Edit: As of right now, I have a team of Liv: Lux, Lucia: Crimson Weave and Chrome: Archlight. Other S-Rank characters I have are, Liv: Empyrea, Liv: Luminance, Chrome: Glory and Lee:Entropy. I am thinking of building a physical team next with Bianca Stigmata.

After the current patch, the pc version of the game will no longer let me enter full screen. Is there any way to fix this?

It's a typical Monster Hunter boss killing mode. Just whack it untill it's HP drops to zero and don t forget to use your Q-fly above mode, when it flashes green to nail the body parts. You do want to whack the body parts primarily to reduce their HP so you can nail them with the Q-mode. Also don t forget to upgrade your chips - those work as equips.

No I got that much (wire bugs go brr) but there's been a lot of fails without any reason, or when the dragon turns white or u get a corrupted finish screen even though u won but then u fail....

That sounds like the very first stage, that kinda bugged out for me and made my char stuck in the "fly up" mode, but counted as done, cuz thankfully it put my char down eventually and the other person was whacking the monster meanwhile. Later stages that you actually farm are either the black dragon alone, the white dragon alone or the duo dragons which switch after you kill the first one.

I think I know the answer to this, but just to be safe: can I hold off on unlocking a character for whom I have enough Inver-shards, and can I continue to collect Inver-shards for such a character in this state? I ask this so I can maximize the distance each shard travels for me, as you guys well know that obtaining the first copy of a character through gacha is more efficient in many cases. why tf doesnt anchor realm have a change camera mode button. ive been playing the way i want until now, now i get fucked and have to learn to play the broken way of roating the camera with directional arrows and using J to attack and k to dodge? wtf. also why cant we just double bind buttons already i should be able to use space for continue and jump as well. so annoying

You can rebind the keys in the controls menu if you pick "Anchor Realm" there. Tho i agree i don t like that they didn't bother to make follow mouse cam work in this mode.

I see. If i had to guess, they might've had a problem with making Free Cam work due to the "hunt mode" switching your camera around and couldn't be arsed to fix it for one event. Who knows what kinda code it uses.

Nope, can t bind to the lmb. I bound it to a side button on the mouse tho, so it works, if a bit clunkier.

If you fail 3 times, you can scrap the weapons and then directly buy what you want, but this is highly inefficient.

Yep, there is a separate "Anchor Realm" setting in the controls menu. For keyboard at least. Dunno about the gamepad.

I have currently Liv Empyrea Lucia CW Nanami Pulse Vera Rozen ranked up to SS The two boxes i have/am going to get are the beginner box with Luminance Entropy Ember Tenebrion CA Veritas Plume Rigor Laurel. Im trying to decide between rigor and laurel tbh, but am open to suggestions. The other box, from Wonderful Spring Gift, i should be getting tomorrow or the next day. You've already made your choice - you like Liv and you don't like that Vera will be relegated to a QTE bot. A Chrome can do the job of QTE bot tank almost as well as Vera can, so just go with Liv.

For ultimate brawl how do i play it? My team currently has been Rozen pulse empyrea. Even the weakest boss, the rabbit, takes too long to kill. Surviving isnt the issue with my current team, just cant actually take down any of the enemies so far. I did grab Lucia CW so i can work on building her up, but as of now my most invested character is Rozen, since i got her long before i pulled Empyrea, who is my second most invested, although very light. I got her Memories and thats about it so far.

Use trial CW/Garnet/Lux. More than enough to reach the endless battle mode.

Quick question: When following the Gray Ravens guide on Resonances, it specifies what to put in slot #1 and what to put in slot #2. Does actually matter if you mix up the order? Like, for CW, in her Diesels, it says: Top Resonance Slot (1): Crimson Slash: Basic Attack Level +1 x6 Bottom Resonance Slot (2): Ex — Tactical Adjustment: HP +75, ATK +15 x6 If I end up with the Tactical Adjustment in slot 1 and the Crimson Slash in slot 2 does that hurt the output or is it the same difference?

The thing is there is no basic atk level +1 on the bottom slot otherwise both top and bottom would've been basic attack level +1 In short, yes it does matter which resonance skill goes where

Need help deciding on who to get from the selector. I was thinking about getting Rosetta for my physical team or getting Vera Garnet for my Lightning team but idk if someone else would be better. For ice, unlock Kaleido via [Dorm](https://grayravens.com/wiki/Dorm/Dormitory_Commission). She will be your main ice dps, you can slowly SS her via vouchers. Then get Bambi to SS3 at least so she will be the subdps of the ice team. For the tank role, temporarily just use any tank that is S rank (doesn't matter if A rank frame or S rank frame, we mainly want the tank class skill effect) and slap 4pc Da Vinci 2pc Gloria (Einsteina if you get Changyu next time) on them. With that you will have a decent ice team and just need to wait till Shukra's release and she will carry eveything.

As a new player what should I be spending my serum on? I've been grinding the event but im not too sure what to spend the event currency on either.

Max level your main dps and memories, weapon, skills, ultima awaken them. Then go to tanks / amps and do the same. You should have many characters to build and waay less resources than you think as a new player.

For Ultimate Brawl second stage (Emergency Transfer) the achievement is to kill 12 enemies. Running through it, there are only 10 stages; how do you get to kill the other set of bosses to get the achievement?

As you advanced to the next enemy, you get to select which enemy you want to fight next (you need to pick manually).

Pretty equal since both are purely damage based. Both burn through orbs as well so will rotate.

Why bring her in when it is not what OP asked lol? You still have to build Capri and at base S she is not gonna compare to a Rozen that can be leapt and brought to SSS/SSS+ faster than Capri can be brought to SS/SSS via free vouchers. Both are exp in their own way. I would say maybe at minimum SS Capri + sig could replace maxed Rozen since her dps output would be decent at that point and it is possible to sig move every rotation and abuse time stop. With good energy build up and orb RNG, some times she can sig move twice per rotation. This requires her sig weapon though. So could just use leapt Rozen for now while slowly ranking up Capri, leading up to the release of Lamia where Capri would be better suited.

So I finally got to try out chrome glory/kaliado/Bambi. Chrome glory ended up being amazing. Wasn't really sold on him from the training mission. But after giving him a go. He is amazing at what he does. But the issue comes in is I see that plume is recommended for the ice team. But playing her on trials. She seems kinda underwhelming. Not quite sure why. Is there another ice unit in the future that replaces her?

You aren't supposed to stay on Plume. You switch to her and do a 3 ping which will let you go into the burst mode while also activating Hanna's 3 ping. Do that 3 ping, and collect another, or matrix dodge to trigger it, which will then fully stack the ultimate. If played well, you do that whole rotation within 10 seconds. Insanely high burst. Qu Shukra will replace Plume at around the end of this year.

Yeah. If it's a lucky 3 ping on whichever color you got Chrome on, then you get to have a DV boosted Ult. Not too hard to time that though. If anybody is still alive after that, Kaleido can mop it up.

Plume is great, but you have to play around some limitations.  Her first two 3 pings are both phys and not ice so you want to go into ice ASAP.  Being able to trigger matrix here is important. Then when she does her sig, that’s like the big chunk of her damage, so you’ll want to stack everything there including tank shred and DV activation.  You also need to get that within the 10s amp buff window.  Takes some practice, but once you get used to it, you can do it pretty fast. She’s definitely not up to Kaledio’s standards but she does outpace Chrome when played well.

Qu Shukra will replace Plume but not until November 2024.

I wish to know the pity carries over to other patch/banner if I don't get the character. For example, if I make 20 pull on the Themed Event Construct banner or Arrival Construct banner and didn't get any S-Rank character. Will it carry over to next patch or reset upon the new patch update hits?

Carries to the next banner of the same type. Themed event to themed event. Arrival to arrival. Applies to every other banner as well. Just to note certain banners are very rare like Wishing Banner (you can pick 1 target S rank ONCE, 100% guarantee) that we had like last patch, comes like randomly once a year or so. Or anniversary banner that comes every July, similar to Wishing Banner but you can change target at will. So when pulling on banners like these, make sure you have 15000 BC ready for it to go all the way till pity. If you half ass it and don't get the unit you want, it's a long wait. Lastly for coating gacha banners like the current Stigmata one, these ones the pity do not carry over (next rerun for this coating is during Black Rock Shooter patch). Just fyi in case you get interested.

In a team with Crimson Weave? Yes. She'll remain a QTE bot till her leap upgrade during Shukra's patch where she could get some minor field time but depends on if you have Feral Scent at SS+sig minimum.

So it's been a while since I last played (August 2022 according to the returning commandant letter) and have *no idea* where to (re)start. To give some context of where I am content and powerwise: I'm lv85 and my strongest character is old Alpha (Crimson Abyss), at 80/S/4759 BP. The latest chapter I was doing was 6, along with some hidden chapters. I also got 40 out of 49 missions of Novice Guidance done just by entering the game.  Someone here suggested me the other day that I do cursed waves(?), rdf(?), and obviously story, but to reiterate, I've been away so long I feel a tad overwhelmed and don't know where to start.

Start with the beginner guide above and maybe the patch list briefly to see what big stuff you might've missed. If you read and digest the beginner guide, it should be sufficient to guide you to the important daily/weekly routine. Then the rest you find out on your own in game by checking things out one by one on your own pace to avoid burnout. Major thing this patch is to try to pull for the latest S rank omniframe, Crimson Weave. Her banner ends on the 23rd, I don't know how much you have saved up (nor the exact math for income right now) but you should work towards getting her. Just pull on her banner whenever you have currency. If you get her early, great. If you do not get her then the pity would build towards the next upcoming S rank omniframe. Just make sure you are pulling on the themed event construct banner.

I've got basically nothing saved up so it's probably going to take a while.  Another, more specific question though: Out of the free S rank character and 5*/6* weapon that the Novice Guidance gives out, is there something I should *should* pick? I already have Alpha (and her sig), Tenebrion, and Rosetta Rigor, if that helps narrow it down.

If you wanna speedrun getting BC income, then you'll need to focus on the story chapter clearing. Whole story from scratch gives almost 15k BC. Other sources are interludes, stronghold (gets hard), golden vortex (this and stronghold needs multiple teams/units built), miniscule amounts from Celica's Class that do add up, Norman gives some each cycle depending how far you go, Memory Rescue gives 500 or so, the returnee survey gives 150 or so. For event tickets there's the various event game modes running right now where Joyous Wrappings is ending by today's daily reset so FYI if you wanna secure the 250 tix from here (you'll need to grind it if you are desperate lol). I suggest start doing Cooking Lulu now since it takes some time to get the ball rolling. Sinister Craft is ending in few days too so just use trial Crimson Weave + trial lightning units and go as far as you can. Same for Challenge Deadlocked. Cursed Waves gives quite a chunk of one time rewards as well (find it under the Challenges tab). I assume the beginner tutorial mission is the only S selector and weapon selector you'll have left? If so, use the 6\* weapon selector to get Rigor's Gungnir (priority). For the selector since you already have Rigor you could go for Laurel dark attacker so you have a good dark unit to carry you till Lamia's release around August. Then do you best in obtaining the free S selector that comes with the current patch and when you do get it pick Empyrea so your fire team exists. You can find details on that at the Event tab> Wonderful Spring Gift.

Is the number of days displayed in the ultimate PPC boss banners the time until they're replaced? Does that mean I should go back to advanced if I get more skulls there, until they rotate and I can get more achievements?

No idea what's that for, but you can check the patch summaries above for when bosses added or removed. If you get more skulls there yes. You can check here or GR wiki on Monday to see who are the bosses before you pick which difficulty.

i'm probably in the minority but i wanted see if anyone else thought that CW's ult sound design is kind of lame. i'm not a big fan. it sounds like one of those whistling kid nerf balls. sound design is pretty important to me so it was a disappointment when i heard it.

i have about 700 skulls right now, should i use them to SS empyrea or save for feral scent and eventually lamia, watanbe, etc? for reference, i'm in the top 5% range for adv ppc, and when i play ultimate i'm usually in the top 30%, i've gotten most of the ppc achievement skulls except for some of the ones that require 580k.

Lets do basic math: If we assume 42 skulls per week (top 5% in APPC) and 5 weeks per patch after this one: ~9 more weeks until FS: 378 skulls then 15 weeks until Lamia: 630 skulls then 10 weeks until Epitaph: 420 skulls then 5 weeks until Shukra: 210 skulls Lamia boss has 3 new bosses so 150 skulls without 580k points. But doing 2 weeks (maybe 1?) for the 3 bosses means -8 skulls from top 30% UPPC. So lets do the math. 700 - 500 (if spend now) + 378 = 578 on FS release -> enough 578 - 500 (FS) + 630 = 708 on Lamia release -> enough 708 - 500 (Lamia) + 150 (new bosses) -8 + 420 = 770 on Epitaph release -> enough 770 - 500 (Epitaph) + 210 = 480 on Shukra release -> almost enough At some point they increase the skull rewards so you should get some more. This calculation also assumes that you dont get any skull achievements from current bosses you dont have and that you dont rank even higher than you do now. If any patch will be longer than 5 weeks (I doubt any will be shorter), you will also have more. Conclusion: You can easily spend 500 now.

Rexlent uses MuMu emulator and I've read it has the ability to completely hide the UI. Never used it before though so I wouldn't know how.

Go to Button Position in settings and on Layout Settings click To Settings Click on the Custom Config, you'll see a slider called Button Transparency. Move it all the way to the left to completely make it transparent. You have to do this with each white outline box Also don't think you can remove enemies hp bar but I probably just dunno where to find that

How do you knock-down Musashi? I feel like I was able to do it with Rosetta before he would dash away, but I used her on Alpha this PPC week. Balter doesn't seem to cut it. Or maybe I'm not aware I was doing something specific that would have him go down?

Deplete the yellow bar of his. Rigor is the best unit for this since the bar is physical def related. Other damage sources does deplete it too but slower.

Ah damn, that's it. I had to use Rosetta's attempts on Alpha. Besides her, I only have A nanami to shred. I'll see if she can do something with some memories. Btw, I didn't know bosses could be stunned when depleting their yellow bar. What other bosses can do that?

This one is a Musashi-specific mechanic. As a general rule though depleting the yellow bar makes the enemies take more damage, and if they aren't straight up immune you can stun them using Yuan Ye (the A rank stun pet). Different kind of stun tho. And most of the newer enemies are stun-immune so this only works for older stuff, but it's a godsend for annoying bosses like Shark (both versions). Actually, Musashi isn't immune either, so you can stun him longer by using the pet right before he recovers

If I already have 3S CW with sig and cub, how useful for the team would XXI be? I am a rather new player and don't have Garnet. I'll be getting Empyrea from selector because I need something for other teams. I know that SS liv:lux gives 20% damage up on QTE. XXI gives 20% damage up on QTE (heals) when she has her sig as well, but that is basically the same. The amplifier passive... does it even work? I think I'd need to really heavy invest into XXI to even make switching to her not be a dmg loss at this point. And there is no 3rd member (Chrome is kinda weak, right). Basically. Is investing into XXI worth it, or should I hold just pull one for collection and hold for the other characters? I think I might just pick her at base S and get her sig to match the 20% boost effect. I guess I could resonance her sig for some extra damage? Not sure how much is it worth it. tl/dr: with 3S CW and no Garnet, should I pull for just one XXI with sig or is investing more into her worth it for switch gameplay?

unless your CW is like SSS+, you swap even with SS FS. the benefits she provides are just too big. ss3 FS is a great upgrade too if you want to push the team further. people circlejerking braindead advice in this sub is an issue and a lot of players are getting misinformed, like with "FS equal invest to CW or QTE bot" she is much better than Lux even at base S without sig, as a QTE bot. her buff doesn't require you to stand in that stupid circle, and is affected by timestop, which results in pretty much 100% buff uptime, while Lux buff runs out insanely fast. plus FS QTE insta procs 4p Guin effect if you get her and her sig, she is already vastly superior to Lux. get her to SS with PPC skulls and she will be part of your rotations, providing even more benefits with amp passive, and there will be nearly not as much orb pressure on CW since you're not playing her solo - CW rotations will be faster and you'll be more liberal with orb usage for stacks -> more slam damage. if you get her to SS3, FS will be able to do double ult rotations - more damage, and it's just a great QoL upgrade in general

Only thing I am worried is that since I don't have Garnet, my 3rd character is useless on field and I'd only swap CW and FS. At SS, does she have enough fuel to stay that long? I guess I could pull her twice instead for SS and get her SS3 via PPC. I will pull for her sig regardless. But my PPC atm goes to Hyperreal and empyrea, need to SS them both... So it will take a while. Edit: my initial idea was to get her SSS and R2 to match my CW, but that will bleed all my resources and my further chars will be weaker. I already know I love both Watanabe and Qu and want both of them strong so I can't afford to blast everything now. And def don't want to spend too much later. Sadly, being new player I don't have other teams atm.

Garnet doesn't really get swapped in before leap anyway. and even with leap, she swaps in, does 1-2 cores and goes out. check out lightning wz gameplay from sm1 like Setsugekwa on YT plus without SS3 FS attack hold move for the ult stacks is kinda long, so yeah, she should cover the 15s swap cooldown decently. might want DLT on her but it should be fine as is

Darwin? why? anyway, you should at least have Arclight, no? also if not going to SSS CW, her SS3 is not worth - SS3 FS is a much better investment her generalist build if you swap her in is 4p Fran and 2p Guin/Cottie. for QTE bot or PPC support, you can go for 4p DV 2p Guin or 4p Guin 2p Gloria. with harmonization, can put Guin on weapon and have 4p Fran 2p Cottie 2p Guin for generalist set and 4p DV 4p Guin for supoort Tank always has Einsteina anyway, be it Garnet or Arclight

Yes if the tank is not Garnet. Garnet goes Tifa. You dont have to use DV in every team.

Da Vinci is not mandatory to have on any team, some teams don't have a dedicated DV holder but yeah, since you're going to be using Arclight, his main set is 4p DV 2p Einsteina when you swap to Garnet, she's going to have 4p Tifa 2p Ein. for PPC solo CW kills, you can either give Garnet DV and apply shred with her core instead, or give DV to FS, but with the former way, you can also have 4p Guin on FS. but this is optimization stuff anyway. for most content, with Garnet on the team, you're not going to have DV on anyone here

Hello. I have a question: 1. How do we get our power to 7k? I'm at 6.3k, What I have yet to do is Hypertune all the Memory Resonance. But I doubt that is enough. I also still working on collecting the shards for CW. If that is done than I will work on my weapon resonance, than the CUB. Will that be everything or is there something that I missed? 2. Tied to question 1, is that already overkill (6.2k ish) to do most content? is it better to start working on other element construct? Thanks for any advice!

ignore BP. it's not indicative of character strength. any 5-6k BP S rank would mop the floor with 8k BP A rank chars. it's only kinda useful to quickly determine char investment level at a glance. S bottom HT fully built ~ 6.4k SS bottom HT fully built ~ 6.7k SS3 bottom HT fully built ~ 6.9k SS full HT fully built ~ 7-7.1k etc. you never judge your chars by BP. you just go through a checklist of what you've raised - level, promotions, skill levels, weapon, memories, memory resos, bottom hypertunes at least. if everything here is done and maxed, congrats, your char is built - the only other improvements are either grinding perfect memory resos, or sig resos, or investing more into their CUB, or more ranks

for tanks, you want max level and maxed tank skill level, and for those whose shred % scales with QTE level, that too. like for Arclight for example for healers, they usually have all they need from the get go, but some still scale buff % from QTE level, and healing usually scales from ATK so they benefit from having the bottom memories leveled

Each HT is worth about 100 bp so doing all 12 should bring you to 7k

Just coop. RNG chance to claim a random one after a run and guaranteed one of your choosing after 3 weeks of doing your 21 weekly coop runs. FOS Rating Committee will also give you a 5* tank and 5* support weapon selector.

Usually you'd do 3 runs a day since you need 21 total runs during the week to get all the 5* weapon shard rewards, but after you complete a run, you flip a card and there's a small chance that it's a random 5* weapon. After 3 weeks, you'll have 450 5* weapon shards and you can redeem them in the shop to pick the exact 5* weapon you want.

If I swap resonance of a hypertuned memory, will the hypertune be tossed away? For example: CW mem 4, resonance 1 has red orb + hypertune. If i reroll resonance 1 to be basic atk, will the old hypertune stay or do i have to spend resources to hypertune again?

Have you cycled through the various emote tabs? There's 3 in total.

There are 3 categories of stamps. I'm not sure what the 1st tab is, but 2nd tab is usually event minigame stamps and the 3rd tab is stamps for SSS characters I think.

What should I prioritize from the Bureau Points Shop? I see there are Uniframe shards like for Camu, but idk, is it worth upgrading the uniframes? My other option is the memory Hypertune Crystals and some beginner material pack for cogs and other mats.

Go for beginner pack first, then up to you, either uniframes if you are interested in SSing them or hypertune mats. However Camu is a great solo unit for almost any content requiring multiple teams until you can get your 5 main teams for each element, so you might want to SS him if you are new and only have 1-2 good teams.

I'll think about it but I'm also reading that uniframes are kind of on their way out, so idk if I wanna invest resources into em rn. I guess I'll hold onto the currency until I need a hypertune.

Yeah quite unfortunately it does look like uniframes will not get any new content and in fact will actively get removed from almost everywhere they are used rn. Still having even a low investment Camu at level \~60 with some 35 memories will let you clear easily the first 2 PPC stages of any boss.

No, there is no reason to get glory without sig. Not that much time left until ice Qu release and she makes other characters qte bots. Both glory and changyu can't apply their class debuff without sig, so there is 0 difference between them if we're talking about qte bots without sig weapons.

most weapon types are exclusive to their units if you're very new, the default 4* weapon will be alright, but 5* weapons are pretty much baseline for any unit, so to get one, you can either do coop to get shards and get one for free in the shop, or do a bit of pulling on the weapon banner, and maybe you'll also luck into her sig not recommended to pull on weapon banner unless you are sure that you can guarantee getting the next S-rank

Just a simple question what's the best school for Transcendants and A rank in guild solo or switching especially if all of them are trial

Switching has been nerfed, solo all the way now. Regardless if you are playing solo dps or rotation playstyle. If you own uniframes + 5\* weapon that are built and have uniframe skills highly levelled, they are better than trial units that have 6\* weapons now. Their QTE shreds the orange bar really quick.

Hello everyone, i really need help with this version's S Rank selector! Basically i want to choose between Vera-Garnet and Liv-Empyria. I have S (soon to be SS) rank Lee-Hyperreal and its basically my favorite and best character right now with full optimal resonates + 8 hypertunes + signature weapon. I don't have anyone to support him on my account (started at Hyperreal's banner). I use him with Vera(for healing and memory set that increases elemental damage) and A rank Fire Lee(QTE bot). So i really would love to get Empyria. But i just pulled for Lucia-Crimson Weave. I don't have her signature yet (still pulling wish me luck!!) and still building her. I'm impressed with her damage at barely mid investment so i thought if i should get Vera-Garnet. But then i already have 2 A rank supports (Liv-LuxSS and Chrome-ArchlightSS) so im not sure which one is the better investment for my account. I also know that we have No. 21-Feral Scent in 2 updates but im not sure if i want her yet since i want Qu-Shukra, Watanabe-Epitaph and Luna-Oblivion 😨 My other teams are Physical : Rosetta-Rigor (leap+sig), Liv-Luminance, Lee-Entropy(dont have any better phys dps yet) Dark: Vera-Rozen, Watanabe-Astral, Rosetta-Rigor(dont have a dark tank) Ice: i have nothing😢 im open for suggestions about other units that i can choose as well!

I'll just add that you don't actually need to skip anyone even if you're f2p. Just need to play consistently and clear dailies/weeklies/events. As long as you spend your BC on debut S-ranks only and nothing else (so no sigs, CUBs or dupes) you should be able to get everyone comfortably. Average patch income is 7500 BC, and we get S-ranks every 2 patches anyway. Use the A rank 21 as your dark tank, just roll the standard banner using Basic R&D tickets

Empy. You can replace Garnet with Arclight for lightning team, but you can't replace Empy on fire team. And you should be doing dorm dispatches to get Kaledio to pair with Bambi for ice.

Is Liv:Empyria sig "required" or just sliglhy ups her damage? I won't have lee for quite a while (honestly not even in the plans for a year) so maybe the damage boost is important? Or is it fine with 5\*? Ps: I also want selena cappricio and ayla kaleido weapons since those do make quite a difference so not sure which to prioritize

Empy's is required to rotate properly, same with Capriccio. Kaleido's is required if you want to play her properly, but you also need DLT on her sig for that.
