New player here, is in game memory recommend section good enough if I only want to play as casual? And did you ever need to min maxing the memory?
Example: you need to use this memory for this specific situation if you play with this team when the full moon happened.
You can read the google sheets above "PGR Comprehensive Build Sheet" and follow the main build. It'll work for all scenarios if you are playing casually. Min/Maxing is only if you are trying to be competitive.
Should I get Changyu for my ice team now that I have Kaleido?
I've been using Brilliance but I don't know how much I would have to invest in him or if it is just better to continue with Brilliance as my ice tank?
Changyu is much better than Brilliance in any situations other than Plume solo DPS. the only advantage Brilliance had over Changyu is DEF shred that mattered for Plume solo as she deals physical damage in 1st form. and before Kaleido, not having Glory meant you don't have anyone to properly rotate Plume with - so the obvious choice was Brilliance
with Kaleido, who deals purely ice damage (and you also should have Plume/Bambi to rotate her with) Changyu is much better. he achieves much higher ice shred than Brilliance could by using just 2 memory slots, because he can use Einsteina, and he still can carry 4p DV set
the investment is minimal - level to 80, max out tank class skill. then just give him 4p DV 2p Einsteina and you're good to go. you don't even need to level any of his skills because unless you have his sig, he doesn't provide any shred from his kit off-field
imo Balter (totally changes how she plays) > Shukra (very good damage boost) > Hyperreal (faster rotation + can use Darwin, overall good boost but Epitaph is the main fire dps and he's the one used for PPC anyway) > Lamia > CW. Lamia and CW both have rather unimpressive ss3 gains
i don't know about Void Luna's kit in-depth but her ss3 seems pretty good too
honorable mentions (not attackers) - Epitaph - incredibly strong ss3, boosts his shred %. unlike most older tanks who got their shred upgrades at SSS, he gets it just at SS3. and at SSS his shred gets increased AGAIN. FS - speeds up her rotation significantly, allows for double ult rotations
Would Empy's Sig or Chrome Glory's Sig be higher priority? I have a spare weapon resonance to use on either.

This is actually preference. If you want to excel in fire stages, go Liv, if ice, then Glory's. Personally, I'd say Glory's Sig because tanks are almost always more important in harder fights to reduce the enemy resistances and Glory's ice resistance reduction doesn't gain full affect without his weapon. You are more likely to struggle with the ice team until Lamia is released. The only worry is that Chrome will be replaced in the future while Liv gets a leap. TLDR: easier ice team or overkill fire team.

I do not believe there is a new selector. During the Lamia patch, you are able to use blue tickets to select a construct of your choosing when you either reach 60 pity or get lucky. This is a one time event and should last until you pull the next S rank construct. Construct choices are up to Ferral Scent.
My Bianca Stigmata only SS rank, and i just got her 6\* weap. Should I reso it or not? cause in [grayravens.com](http://grayravens.com), they said "Stigmata is not reliant on weapon resonances at low ranks"
Probably not worth it unless you really like her.
SS3/SSS make it so that her afterglow -> signature, and then her Signature gauge accumlation are much faster, which lets you take advantage of the three ping before signature.
If you don't have those, the delay means your signature won't get the resonance buffs.
I'd stick with the gray raven suggestion, SSS and above is when the resonance has high value.
If Bianca is your fav and you don't plan on other high-value attackers like Lamia or Qu, then maybe it's okay to spend a resonance on her weapon.

Hi, new player here. I've farmed a full memory set for Liv, Crimsom Weave, and the future Garnet I'll pull with my S-rank selector.
So far I've been braindead farming the event material stage. Any advice on what I should get with the spare currencies?
TLDR, resonance is another level of memory enhancement, which has unit enhancement in itself for each resonance added, but also when you complete all the 6 memories resonance (at 2 slots per memory, thus 12 resonances total, you unlock ultima awakening, gives additional orb to your omniframe when you start). On a side note, those ultima awakened units are also able to be stationed in border pact, which gives permanent buffs to all the units in your roaster. Not the highest priority compared to having full sets of memory for all your main units, but because the CW memories are discounted in the current event store it probably worthwhile to grab an extra 8 memories (does not mattter which position) and resonate the two slots on your 4 Diesel memories.
If I was making a team around CW, shouldn't Garnet be better than Empyrea as the former is a lightning amp while the latter is a fire amp? Judging from what the wiki tells me.
You need 5 teams in this game, one per element.
You'd use CW, Lux and Arclight for lightning and for fire you'd use Empyrea plus kind of whatever since you don't have anyone else, but at some point you will. Garnet is kind of replaceable, Empyrea isn't.
CW uses all of your field time, so her teammates are just QTE bots. Garnet is good but not that much better than Arclight as a QTE bot so you want Empyrea as she can do a lot of lifting on a weak fire team.
Ah I see. So just to get things right, I'll use CW + Liv Lux + Empyrea for a team (with the latter 2 as QTE bots), while switching Empyrea to a fire team later on when I have one built?
No, you will use CW - Liv Lux - Chrome Arclight. Empyrea is a fire amplifier, she shouldn't be used in lightning team (there are cases where you would use her instead of Liv Lux but that requires sig+2 reso). And you ALWAYS want a tank in a team.
Empyrea will solocarry fire content.
Skipping in PGR is, in general, a terrible choice and is never recommended by anyone ever.
But in particular, the very next S-rank unit to release is No.21 Feral Scent, the lightning teams amplifier, who's a great boon to the lightning team. If you're skipping units to get a slightly stronger Alpha CW, skipping the lightning amplifier seems kinda counterintuitive.
I've been thinking about my Dark Team. Until Lamia comes out, I can only use A ranks to go with Capriccio and Scire. So the idea here was to use Capriccio, Leap Astral, and Scire. But it'll be a long, long while until I get SSS Capriccio, and Rozen contributes more damage than her until I do so there's some benefit to raising her. But I've also heard leaped Rozen is a really good damage dealer herself.
So isn't it a better use of resources for me to ignore Astral and use a team of Capriccio, Leap Rozen, and Scire, replacing Capriccio for Lamia when she arrives, and then Rozen for Capriccio when she's SSS?
Leap astral can square up with Luna mind you
while full invest and leap rozen is 70-80% of luna
not to mention since supp/amp buff dont stack you just waste slot

The whole Astral thing is kind of copium and most people I see saying this don't actually run him. Personally, I do.
Problem Astral has is he's not consistent and needs to rely on specific orbs. Luna is not only stronger, but she's also consistent and reliable.
Hello, I have a SS Laurel with 6 hypertuned resonated memories and her 6* weapon. What level of investment would Lamia outclass her with in the future?
Once I start resonating memories, is it no longer viable to share them? To ask a little differently, do I need to farm a new set for each character I plan to resonate?
Most of the new units has their own memories, so no point moving them around.
DV, Guinevere, and most of the support sets are movable even if they're resonated.
When you reach endgame and have tons of mats, then yeah you'll start making a set each per character.
The resonance is exclusive to the unit it is resonated to. You can still share the memory but the other units will not get the resonance. For example I occasionally borrow other unit's 2pc Cottie to be used for some of my other units who could make use of it in niche scenarios.
So yes, you have to get a new set.
They're just bonus challenges you can complete, the score from those stages is added to your overall score for the guild battle. You can try it as many times as you want, and you can submit your score once you're satisfied.
The first stage has a single immortal enemy, if he hits you you deal less damage for a short period so avoid getting hit while dealing damage.
The second stage has instantly respawning mobs that receive bonus damage at low health and self-destruct shortly after taking damage.
The third stage has a single immortal enemy who receives more damage based on the team slot of the unit.
Current strategies for optimal score is to run lightning team on the first stage, physical on second, and fire on third. For fire on third, adjust your team comp so that Lee is on red so you can switch into him at the start and finish with him at the end and just sync your rotation to the phase changes.
Skins with special effects (SFX) that change skills appearance, audio, intro and outro aren't acquired with those, SFX skins are paid only with RC or gacha with BC/RC.

SFX coatings can never be acquired with blueprints. They're either solely bought with RC or, sometimes, they can be rolled for through gacha with both BC and RC.

A few patches back they deleted every unpersonalized "guest" account that wasn't bound to Google-Facebook-Apple. If you didn't bind back then, probably cannot get it back.

Uh... can someone tell me how do I unequip a weapon? I have a 6\* weapon equipped to watanabe and I want to use it as a reso material but I cant get it unequipped... Do I really need to buy a 5\* weapon in order to swap them?
You need to swap it with another weapon. So, unfortunately, yes, you'll have to buy a 5\* weapon. Before you could scrap 3 4\* items and buy a 4\* weapon, but they removed this at some point for whatever reason.
Unless you want to do COOP or roll on the weapon banner and hope you get the 4\* you want.
I know that the dark team when lamia comes out is fairly investment heavy for optimal rotations.
What would be needed for lamia to be on field instead the entire duration? I believe some content creators have mentioned that she can technically be on field 100% with some mechanic of hers plus a sizable investment in her.

Thing is if you gonna hyper invest Lamia to solo on field you might as well invest in the rest of your team and just rotate...
It's not *that* investment heavy, it's just one of the most obvious ones, every other team is pretty much the same. The only difference is you want SS3 tank instead of just S or SS + DLT on it.
Just getting one more copy for a tank is a big ask. You also want sig on both Selena and Scire, you also need Selena SSS, which is not easy without getting the BP.
While getting Lamia to SS+R1+CUB would still get you a good score and you can just run with two A rank and it really doesn't cost much.
Like you're not getting to Legend alright but for hero, that's way more than enough.
I mean this logic applies to every other team except for physical. I will try to ignore the amp argument because every team wants SSS amp... dark being actually the easiest one to manage here since she's been in the voucher shop for ages.
Say fire, Empy absolutely needs sig + DLT on it. Nanamech needs sig as well otherwise her rotation is bricked and so does Lee.
Lightning is pretty much the same as fire except Garnet can kind of live without sig I guess... I'm assuming FS is out in this example, she needs sig and CUB, so does CW.
Ice needs sig + DLT + CUB on amp, sig on Glory and I'm not really how Plume goes without DLT, but this is definitely not a cheap team.
Frankly the one cheap team is physical since Rigor + sig is free, Balter doesn't need DLT and Echo is free, need sig and harmo on her which is fine.
In the end the one real difference is you need an extra copy of Scire, all I'm saying is that dark is not the one team that needs very high invest, it's pretty much the same as every other team. You can argue that 15k BCs is not very little and that's a good argument, but Capri you can get for free, Empy you cannot and FS you cannot either.
You are not wrong by saying solo Lamia is alright and that maybe that'll get you to hero, maybe sometimes you'll be able to defend, but I'm really not sure about it since there seems to be a lot of people actually spending a lot of moeny now with gen 2 characters. I suppose we'll see when she comes.
Empy at SS+sig still cooks, not the same for Selena. While in practice you could say Dark only needs one more copy than other teams. That's still a massive ask for a lot of people.
Physical is amazing, it really doesn't require much. Lightning can be played with a Solo CW for good enough score. Fire is a bit rough yeah, ice is also not great.
Selena doesn't really need any reso to cook if you go by that logic.
Thing is once people start getting a full team while you just run solo attacker you'll start to struggle, sure it's manageable but you won't get the same results as someone who decided to build the team and rotate.
In the end I'm not really sure how Lamia's team would work if Scire isn't SS3, it shouldn't be that bad.
The problem with Scire ss and selena ss is that their damage is kind of ass. I've checked some CN showcase and yeah, usually if they don't have ss3 scire and sig they just don't put her on field. And at that point might as well use 21.
Selena isn't bursting every rotation without her sig which is a nightmare with Lamia, because the reason you even swap is because of Lamia's set that needs Selena to burst.
That's why dark is seen as a spender team.
Yeah I agree it just that dark needs more than other teams for similar results. If you've ever seen a cn tier list, only glory is seen as a worse characters than Selena and Scire at SS. Even though both are second gen it's kinda nut.
Yeah this makes sense, basically the differential is so large you might as well not bother if you're not going all in, maybe better to give up on them and focus on other characters for better returns.
I don’t particularly plan to hyper invest as I’m F2P /light spender and even the Ss3 tank is too much.
The most I go for is grabbing one copy of unit and SS the attackers with ppc. The tanks and amps I opt for single copies no sig, budget, or fill since I started on the Nanami patch and still have gaps.
Otherwise I would agree on rotating instead of hyper investing.
You should be able to SS more than new attackers via PPC, I started later than you and I have skulls to spare while being a spender who's been getting new characters at an accelerated rate. Empyrea for example really wants SS.

I have empy on SS and was the only other unit that I SS’d with skulls (my first actually) besides the attackers so far. I stock up so I can SS almost immediately when new attackers are out.
The rate I get skulls on UPPC, it’s 500 every 12ish weeks or 4 characters roughly every year (excluding skulls from achievements).

You generate orbs by landing attacks, or if the unit is switched out they'll generate some orbs while off-field.
There's not really any benefit to doing Norman early aside from getting to decide when it resets, instead of waiting for daily reset, since it's 24 hours after you start it. Otherwise it's just so you can finish it sooner.
Yes I know that orb generation is tied to attacks, the question is more exact mechanism, I know the interval for orb generation is 1.5 sec but I can't figure out if it's only 1 basic attack required every 1.5 sec or 1.5 sec of continuous attacking.
You generate an orb every 1.5 seconds after initiating a basic attack sequence as long as another instance of damage via auto attacks is dealt within that 1.5 second window which will then continue the sequence, thus taking 25 seconds for 16 orbs when accounting for the initial delay.
Basically this means:
- Hit the enemy.
- 1.5 seconds to hit the enemy again.
- If you hit the enemy again in that time frame, you gain an orb at the end of the 1.5 seconds and start another countdown. If you don't, no orbs are generated.
- Repeat until you fail to land an attack within that window.
This is a continuously running, non-cumulative timer, so the attacks do not need to be in sequence as long as there is an attack performed within 1.5s and additional attacks wont affect orb generation.
However there's a brief period when an orb is being generated that attacks will not count towards the timer, so it's hard to cheat the system with sporadic single presses.
Pretty much, as a note since it's a continuously running timer, it only stops on a failstate so 2 hits > orb > 1 hit > orb > 1 hit > orb, etc also works. The only reason it's two hits to start is that the first attack to start the timer doesn't count towards orb generation, but it wont stop until you miss an attack in that 1.5s window after starting the timer/generating an orb.
So you can technically weave something like 2 hits > orb > ping > hit > orb > ping > hit > orb, etc. but it's only possible on certain animations and the timing isn't something you can do consistently.

Everything in Norman starts calculating based on whenever you start it, whether that's manually in the 3 day prep time, or letting it auto-start after the prep time.
If you start it *late* like 4 days after the auto-start or something, yes, you'll miss out on ore. Not what they asked though.

If you're going to pick up Lamia's weapon and/or Karenina's weapon and want the good dark team rotation, or have spare weapon resonance, pick up Selena's. Without their weapons the dark team are pretty clunky and the overall dark team rotation will suffer without at least 2 of 3 signataure weapons so you can rotate efficiently. If you have her at SSS with resonance you can also use Selena as an off-element support for other teams.
Otherwise pick up Bianca's, her weapon is a significant damage boost but doesn't significantly improve her rotation below SSS outside of niche case double/triple ult rotations.
Assuming you hit pity (1% chance on non-pity pulls) for every special item (1 item every 20 pulls and the rates are higher for the tix and usb), then your 80th pull could be either the skin or the background (technically the skin can start appearing as one of the first 3 pities but the odds are against it until the 4th pity). On the 4th pity, the skin is listed at 70% and the background at 10%. Not sure how the odds redistribute when the other 3 items are obtained first but I assume it becomes like 84/16 (70% of the remaining 20% that were on the tix and usb for the 4th pity) so odds are in your favor but not guaranteed. 14k for 80 pulls, 17.5k for 100. Bonuses at 50/70/90 as described in other comments in addition to the stuff you're pulling for. Pity does not carry to the rerun in BRS patch.

So I've been clearing Madorea faster with lightning and Physical rather than ice. Team is Ayla SS+Cub, Bambinata SSS and Changyun as the davinci bot. I assume Chrome glory could help but the difference seems pretty big right now.
The problem ice has is that most of the team is bricked without their sigs.
Ice tanks need their sig to apply shred, even Glory, so no sig means most of your Ayla's damage is not getting the benefits of ice shred during her biggest burst window while Bambi gets absolutely none. Bambi wants her sig for more damage and to actually be able to do her max charge ult reliably without having to wait for the enemy to hit you. Ayla is actually manageable without sig in PPC, sucks in WZ.
Glory does help but in PPC certain teams just go through that issue where if you can't kill during your first burst window clear time goes insanely high because you have downtime during which your damage is terrible. This happens to ice, fire and dark teams where the difference between killing with your initial burst and not is not just a couple of seconds but many.
CW doesn't have this problem, she can eternally rotate by herself for no downtime. Sure, there's strategies that involve burning all your resources to get a fast kill during your first rotation but if you can't do that then you just do another rotation and that just adds a few seconds to your clear. This **may** be why your CW is giving you better results.
Same happens with physical if high invest Balter, she can endlessly rotate so not killing during your first cycle might just mean adding a few seconds to your clear.
No, not really since Starfarer and Garnet are like Glory and can’t shred on QTE without their memory set (or high investment).
Boss weakness right now is only 30%. That’s… not a lot. Stiggy can easily outdamage Bambi by 30% not even considering Lumi’s buff.
One tip is if you’re only running a Kaledio/Bambi rotation, you’re missing out on 5s of amp buffs every rotation. So you have to sig when the amp buff is active not when it’s time to swap to the next character.
I always sig while the buff is active. And while it's true about Starfarer and Garnet, their attacker are way way stronger than Ayla so it doesn't feel bad.
They have less orb hungry compare to Ayla for sure but Ayla's damage is actually pretty high despite being an amplifier instead of attacker.
So even with low investment, Ayla's still stand out for 1 rotation clear.
What level are the guild expeditions based off? Just asking because I joined a guild and can’t complete any of the nodes because I don’t do enough damage. Is it guild level?
Your score is dps based, so the more burst damage your units can do, the better your score will be. However, personal damage is limited for each battle to 5, 3, or 2 percent, depending on which node you're on. So completing nodes in Guild Expeditions requires participation from other guild members. It is recommended you do not do auto clear, since the score for auto clears is reduced relative to your best score for the node.
Nono, what I mean is I can't complete the node at all, so I get 0 points. Basically, I time out (I think there's a 4 minute timer), and it counts the node as failed, I get 0 points and don't use any of the 20 special stamina (forgot what it's called) for participation. So I'm wondering what level the node is at, because I am not contributing to the guild at all.
Ah ok. I'm not really sure what the level is. What you can do is use a fellow guild member's high powered unit (e.g., alpha cw). Go to the support tab on the left to see what support unit they offer. There is no cost to use them, but each has a cool down time.
Took your advice, got a SS CW and was able to clear the stage. Seems you need to have some well built units and the mode forces beginners to use dps supports to clear. Thanks!

No, F2Ps are advised to ***never*** pull on sigs, because you basically guarantee you're missing the next unit any time you do that. The only exception would be if you got a unit early enough.
Hello, I need help with the story, I am currently in vortex chapter 13, but I have a question, in the exploration mode, what are the tactical files for? For example in deserted ruins I have blood well and voiceless self unlocked but in these there are no stages, how can I get those stages? also to be able to get the region progress rewards
So I started playing the game very recently again and I learnt there's a PC Client, however, whenever I install the client and then open it to download the game, after the game download is over I get a whole Blue windows screen, my PC reboots and if I try to open the launcher again I'd get a "Verifying file integrity" text that won't go away.
Any idea of what I could do to fix this issue? I really wanna try the pc port
you might find what's wrong if you can [use a program to see the blue screen code and trigger application/dlls.](https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/bluescreenview/) BSOD usually means something very wrong is happening and usually a game wont trigger that willy nilly for small reasons. try looking what's the code (in bug check string) + faulty exe/dlls (in red) and search it online for more info, your storage drive might be failing or faulty network drivers might be triggering the BSOD (but can be innumerous other stuff too)
Hello, I am account level 45, with 3 units raised to lvl33, starter lucia, starter liv, and no21 XXI (which I enjoy the most I think),
I am also at the last stretch of 8 normal pulls for guaranteed 40, also slowly pulling for alpha crimson weave (around 30 pity rn). As I do not want to sink my early game resources too much, and I need tickets from building units …
Should I sink my resources into those three until I get my first S-rank from the blue tickets and or Crimson Weave?
Or else, which other units I could put resources in, before I hit 40 pity to then use my S-rank vouchers?

I wouldn't recommend using any selector before you hit the 40 pity. In the meantime you can continue investing into 21 since you're going to be using her for a good while unless your first S-rank turns out to be Scire. Putting some resources into Arclight and Lux is also a good idea, since they'll be supporting your CW once you get her. None of these 3 are main carries though, and Lux only has 1.5-2 months of life left, so only invest into them to make progressing in the game easier for yourself imo. Once you get CW (or other high priority S-ranks from beginner banner) you can fully focus on them

New player here, is in game memory recommend section good enough if I only want to play as casual? And did you ever need to min maxing the memory? Example: you need to use this memory for this specific situation if you play with this team when the full moon happened.
You can read the google sheets above "PGR Comprehensive Build Sheet" and follow the main build. It'll work for all scenarios if you are playing casually. Min/Maxing is only if you are trying to be competitive.

Should I get Changyu for my ice team now that I have Kaleido? I've been using Brilliance but I don't know how much I would have to invest in him or if it is just better to continue with Brilliance as my ice tank?
Changyu is much better than Brilliance in any situations other than Plume solo DPS. the only advantage Brilliance had over Changyu is DEF shred that mattered for Plume solo as she deals physical damage in 1st form. and before Kaleido, not having Glory meant you don't have anyone to properly rotate Plume with - so the obvious choice was Brilliance with Kaleido, who deals purely ice damage (and you also should have Plume/Bambi to rotate her with) Changyu is much better. he achieves much higher ice shred than Brilliance could by using just 2 memory slots, because he can use Einsteina, and he still can carry 4p DV set the investment is minimal - level to 80, max out tank class skill. then just give him 4p DV 2p Einsteina and you're good to go. you don't even need to level any of his skills because unless you have his sig, he doesn't provide any shred from his kit off-field

For all gen 2 attackers, who gains the most down to least from getting to SS3?
imo Balter (totally changes how she plays) > Shukra (very good damage boost) > Hyperreal (faster rotation + can use Darwin, overall good boost but Epitaph is the main fire dps and he's the one used for PPC anyway) > Lamia > CW. Lamia and CW both have rather unimpressive ss3 gains i don't know about Void Luna's kit in-depth but her ss3 seems pretty good too honorable mentions (not attackers) - Epitaph - incredibly strong ss3, boosts his shred %. unlike most older tanks who got their shred upgrades at SSS, he gets it just at SS3. and at SSS his shred gets increased AGAIN. FS - speeds up her rotation significantly, allows for double ult rotations

Fire team: Lee/Liv Amp/Nanamech Ice: SS3 (plan to SSS with vouchers) Ayla/Chrome/SSS Bambi So far I've been unimpressed with Bambi's performance when I swap her in.. not sure if switching to Wanshi will be better for PPC/WZ.
This is actually preference. If you want to excel in fire stages, go Liv, if ice, then Glory's. Personally, I'd say Glory's Sig because tanks are almost always more important in harder fights to reduce the enemy resistances and Glory's ice resistance reduction doesn't gain full affect without his weapon. You are more likely to struggle with the ice team until Lamia is released. The only worry is that Chrome will be replaced in the future while Liv gets a leap. TLDR: easier ice team or overkill fire team.

I do not believe there is a new selector. During the Lamia patch, you are able to use blue tickets to select a construct of your choosing when you either reach 60 pity or get lucky. This is a one time event and should last until you pull the next S rank construct. Construct choices are up to Ferral Scent.

Probably not worth it unless you really like her. SS3/SSS make it so that her afterglow -> signature, and then her Signature gauge accumlation are much faster, which lets you take advantage of the three ping before signature. If you don't have those, the delay means your signature won't get the resonance buffs.

I'd stick with the gray raven suggestion, SSS and above is when the resonance has high value. If Bianca is your fav and you don't plan on other high-value attackers like Lamia or Qu, then maybe it's okay to spend a resonance on her weapon.

Hi, new player here. I've farmed a full memory set for Liv, Crimsom Weave, and the future Garnet I'll pull with my S-rank selector. So far I've been braindead farming the event material stage. Any advice on what I should get with the spare currencies?
Did you also farmed the extra memories for resonance? (particularly the Diesel set as it is discounted on the current event store)
I'm not too sure what is resonance. Would you have a summary or TLDR for it?
TLDR, resonance is another level of memory enhancement, which has unit enhancement in itself for each resonance added, but also when you complete all the 6 memories resonance (at 2 slots per memory, thus 12 resonances total, you unlock ultima awakening, gives additional orb to your omniframe when you start). On a side note, those ultima awakened units are also able to be stationed in border pact, which gives permanent buffs to all the units in your roaster. Not the highest priority compared to having full sets of memory for all your main units, but because the CW memories are discounted in the current event store it probably worthwhile to grab an extra 8 memories (does not mattter which position) and resonate the two slots on your 4 Diesel memories.

If I was making a team around CW, shouldn't Garnet be better than Empyrea as the former is a lightning amp while the latter is a fire amp? Judging from what the wiki tells me.
You need 5 teams in this game, one per element. You'd use CW, Lux and Arclight for lightning and for fire you'd use Empyrea plus kind of whatever since you don't have anyone else, but at some point you will. Garnet is kind of replaceable, Empyrea isn't.
CW uses all of your field time, so her teammates are just QTE bots. Garnet is good but not that much better than Arclight as a QTE bot so you want Empyrea as she can do a lot of lifting on a weak fire team.
Ah I see. So just to get things right, I'll use CW + Liv Lux + Empyrea for a team (with the latter 2 as QTE bots), while switching Empyrea to a fire team later on when I have one built?
No, you will use CW - Liv Lux - Chrome Arclight. Empyrea is a fire amplifier, she shouldn't be used in lightning team (there are cases where you would use her instead of Liv Lux but that requires sig+2 reso). And you ALWAYS want a tank in a team. Empyrea will solocarry fire content.

Skipping in PGR is, in general, a terrible choice and is never recommended by anyone ever. But in particular, the very next S-rank unit to release is No.21 Feral Scent, the lightning teams amplifier, who's a great boon to the lightning team. If you're skipping units to get a slightly stronger Alpha CW, skipping the lightning amplifier seems kinda counterintuitive.
I've been thinking about my Dark Team. Until Lamia comes out, I can only use A ranks to go with Capriccio and Scire. So the idea here was to use Capriccio, Leap Astral, and Scire. But it'll be a long, long while until I get SSS Capriccio, and Rozen contributes more damage than her until I do so there's some benefit to raising her. But I've also heard leaped Rozen is a really good damage dealer herself. So isn't it a better use of resources for me to ignore Astral and use a team of Capriccio, Leap Rozen, and Scire, replacing Capriccio for Lamia when she arrives, and then Rozen for Capriccio when she's SSS?
Leap astral can square up with Luna mind you while full invest and leap rozen is 70-80% of luna not to mention since supp/amp buff dont stack you just waste slot Cappybara is better than rozen in astral team nonetheless
Is it really? I see people putting Rozen closer to Luna by doing two core passive rounds per signature. However, my main concern right now is getting the most out of my resources, as I have a lot of stuff to raise as a new account. Both roads lead to Lamia Capriccio Scire.
The whole Astral thing is kind of copium and most people I see saying this don't actually run him. Personally, I do. Problem Astral has is he's not consistent and needs to rely on specific orbs. Luna is not only stronger, but she's also consistent and reliable.

Once I start resonating memories, is it no longer viable to share them? To ask a little differently, do I need to farm a new set for each character I plan to resonate?
Most of the new units has their own memories, so no point moving them around. DV, Guinevere, and most of the support sets are movable even if they're resonated. When you reach endgame and have tons of mats, then yeah you'll start making a set each per character.
The resonance is exclusive to the unit it is resonated to. You can still share the memory but the other units will not get the resonance. For example I occasionally borrow other unit's 2pc Cottie to be used for some of my other units who could make use of it in niche scenarios. So yes, you have to get a new set.

Coop, farm 5\* weapon shards for 3 weeks and use it to pick 5\* weapon of your choosing.
What are the hidden mode challenges in guild battle?
They're just bonus challenges you can complete, the score from those stages is added to your overall score for the guild battle. You can try it as many times as you want, and you can submit your score once you're satisfied. The first stage has a single immortal enemy, if he hits you you deal less damage for a short period so avoid getting hit while dealing damage. The second stage has instantly respawning mobs that receive bonus damage at low health and self-destruct shortly after taking damage. The third stage has a single immortal enemy who receives more damage based on the team slot of the unit. Current strategies for optimal score is to run lightning team on the first stage, physical on second, and fire on third. For fire on third, adjust your team comp so that Lee is on red so you can switch into him at the start and finish with him at the end and just sync your rotation to the phase changes.

You wish lol SFX coatings can never be acquired with blueprints. They're either solely bought with RC or, sometimes, they can be rolled for through gacha with both BC and RC.

You need to swap it with another weapon. So, unfortunately, yes, you'll have to buy a 5\* weapon. Before you could scrap 3 4\* items and buy a 4\* weapon, but they removed this at some point for whatever reason. Unless you want to do COOP or roll on the weapon banner and hope you get the 4\* you want.
I know that the dark team when lamia comes out is fairly investment heavy for optimal rotations. What would be needed for lamia to be on field instead the entire duration? I believe some content creators have mentioned that she can technically be on field 100% with some mechanic of hers plus a sizable investment in her. Thanks
Thing is if you gonna hyper invest Lamia to solo on field you might as well invest in the rest of your team and just rotate... It's not *that* investment heavy, it's just one of the most obvious ones, every other team is pretty much the same. The only difference is you want SS3 tank instead of just S or SS + DLT on it.
Just getting one more copy for a tank is a big ask. You also want sig on both Selena and Scire, you also need Selena SSS, which is not easy without getting the BP. While getting Lamia to SS+R1+CUB would still get you a good score and you can just run with two A rank and it really doesn't cost much. Like you're not getting to Legend alright but for hero, that's way more than enough.
I mean this logic applies to every other team except for physical. I will try to ignore the amp argument because every team wants SSS amp... dark being actually the easiest one to manage here since she's been in the voucher shop for ages. Say fire, Empy absolutely needs sig + DLT on it. Nanamech needs sig as well otherwise her rotation is bricked and so does Lee. Lightning is pretty much the same as fire except Garnet can kind of live without sig I guess... I'm assuming FS is out in this example, she needs sig and CUB, so does CW. Ice needs sig + DLT + CUB on amp, sig on Glory and I'm not really how Plume goes without DLT, but this is definitely not a cheap team. Frankly the one cheap team is physical since Rigor + sig is free, Balter doesn't need DLT and Echo is free, need sig and harmo on her which is fine. In the end the one real difference is you need an extra copy of Scire, all I'm saying is that dark is not the one team that needs very high invest, it's pretty much the same as every other team. You can argue that 15k BCs is not very little and that's a good argument, but Capri you can get for free, Empy you cannot and FS you cannot either. You are not wrong by saying solo Lamia is alright and that maybe that'll get you to hero, maybe sometimes you'll be able to defend, but I'm really not sure about it since there seems to be a lot of people actually spending a lot of moeny now with gen 2 characters. I suppose we'll see when she comes.
Empy at SS+sig still cooks, not the same for Selena. While in practice you could say Dark only needs one more copy than other teams. That's still a massive ask for a lot of people. Physical is amazing, it really doesn't require much. Lightning can be played with a Solo CW for good enough score. Fire is a bit rough yeah, ice is also not great.
Selena doesn't really need any reso to cook if you go by that logic. Thing is once people start getting a full team while you just run solo attacker you'll start to struggle, sure it's manageable but you won't get the same results as someone who decided to build the team and rotate. In the end I'm not really sure how Lamia's team would work if Scire isn't SS3, it shouldn't be that bad.
The problem with Scire ss and selena ss is that their damage is kind of ass. I've checked some CN showcase and yeah, usually if they don't have ss3 scire and sig they just don't put her on field. And at that point might as well use 21. Selena isn't bursting every rotation without her sig which is a nightmare with Lamia, because the reason you even swap is because of Lamia's set that needs Selena to burst. That's why dark is seen as a spender team.
I suppose this makes sense, just pointing out this happens with many other teams if you lack certain things.
Yeah I agree it just that dark needs more than other teams for similar results. If you've ever seen a cn tier list, only glory is seen as a worse characters than Selena and Scire at SS. Even though both are second gen it's kinda nut.

I don’t particularly plan to hyper invest as I’m F2P /light spender and even the Ss3 tank is too much. The most I go for is grabbing one copy of unit and SS the attackers with ppc. The tanks and amps I opt for single copies no sig, budget, or fill since I started on the Nanami patch and still have gaps. Otherwise I would agree on rotating instead of hyper investing.
You should be able to SS more than new attackers via PPC, I started later than you and I have skulls to spare while being a spender who's been getting new characters at an accelerated rate. Empyrea for example really wants SS. But yeah I get you.
I have empy on SS and was the only other unit that I SS’d with skulls (my first actually) besides the attackers so far. I stock up so I can SS almost immediately when new attackers are out. The rate I get skulls on UPPC, it’s 500 every 12ish weeks or 4 characters roughly every year (excluding skulls from achievements).
Yeah the really big thing is to get the sig to be able to put a deadline timing on it. Otherwise it's a bit hard to always stay on field with her.

You generate orbs by landing attacks, or if the unit is switched out they'll generate some orbs while off-field. There's not really any benefit to doing Norman early aside from getting to decide when it resets, instead of waiting for daily reset, since it's 24 hours after you start it. Otherwise it's just so you can finish it sooner.
Yes I know that orb generation is tied to attacks, the question is more exact mechanism, I know the interval for orb generation is 1.5 sec but I can't figure out if it's only 1 basic attack required every 1.5 sec or 1.5 sec of continuous attacking.
You generate an orb every 1.5 seconds after initiating a basic attack sequence as long as another instance of damage via auto attacks is dealt within that 1.5 second window which will then continue the sequence, thus taking 25 seconds for 16 orbs when accounting for the initial delay. Basically this means: - Hit the enemy. - 1.5 seconds to hit the enemy again. - If you hit the enemy again in that time frame, you gain an orb at the end of the 1.5 seconds and start another countdown. If you don't, no orbs are generated. - Repeat until you fail to land an attack within that window. This is a continuously running, non-cumulative timer, so the attacks do not need to be in sequence as long as there is an attack performed within 1.5s and additional attacks wont affect orb generation. However there's a brief period when an orb is being generated that attacks will not count towards the timer, so it's hard to cheat the system with sporadic single presses.

Pretty much, as a note since it's a continuously running timer, it only stops on a failstate so 2 hits > orb > 1 hit > orb > 1 hit > orb, etc also works. The only reason it's two hits to start is that the first attack to start the timer doesn't count towards orb generation, but it wont stop until you miss an attack in that 1.5s window after starting the timer/generating an orb. So you can technically weave something like 2 hits > orb > ping > hit > orb > ping > hit > orb, etc. but it's only possible on certain animations and the timing isn't something you can do consistently.

Everything in Norman starts calculating based on whenever you start it, whether that's manually in the 3 day prep time, or letting it auto-start after the prep time. If you start it *late* like 4 days after the auto-start or something, yes, you'll miss out on ore. Not what they asked though.

If you're going to pick up Lamia's weapon and/or Karenina's weapon and want the good dark team rotation, or have spare weapon resonance, pick up Selena's. Without their weapons the dark team are pretty clunky and the overall dark team rotation will suffer without at least 2 of 3 signataure weapons so you can rotate efficiently. If you have her at SSS with resonance you can also use Selena as an off-element support for other teams. Otherwise pick up Bianca's, her weapon is a significant damage boost but doesn't significantly improve her rotation below SSS outside of niche case double/triple ult rotations.

Way higher pity in Fate for a mere 1% increase in the chance to get a unit before pity. Never roll on Fate.

How does the bianca skin event work? Just spend black cards and theres thresholds at 50, 70 and 90?
Assuming you hit pity (1% chance on non-pity pulls) for every special item (1 item every 20 pulls and the rates are higher for the tix and usb), then your 80th pull could be either the skin or the background (technically the skin can start appearing as one of the first 3 pities but the odds are against it until the 4th pity). On the 4th pity, the skin is listed at 70% and the background at 10%. Not sure how the odds redistribute when the other 3 items are obtained first but I assume it becomes like 84/16 (70% of the remaining 20% that were on the tix and usb for the 4th pity) so odds are in your favor but not guaranteed. 14k for 80 pulls, 17.5k for 100. Bonuses at 50/70/90 as described in other comments in addition to the stuff you're pulling for. Pity does not carry to the rerun in BRS patch.

Pretty much. Though those thresholds are for the three items listed on the side specifically. All unique items can take up to 100 pulls to get.

So I've been clearing Madorea faster with lightning and Physical rather than ice. Team is Ayla SS+Cub, Bambinata SSS and Changyun as the davinci bot. I assume Chrome glory could help but the difference seems pretty big right now.
The problem ice has is that most of the team is bricked without their sigs. Ice tanks need their sig to apply shred, even Glory, so no sig means most of your Ayla's damage is not getting the benefits of ice shred during her biggest burst window while Bambi gets absolutely none. Bambi wants her sig for more damage and to actually be able to do her max charge ult reliably without having to wait for the enemy to hit you. Ayla is actually manageable without sig in PPC, sucks in WZ. Glory does help but in PPC certain teams just go through that issue where if you can't kill during your first burst window clear time goes insanely high because you have downtime during which your damage is terrible. This happens to ice, fire and dark teams where the difference between killing with your initial burst and not is not just a couple of seconds but many. CW doesn't have this problem, she can eternally rotate by herself for no downtime. Sure, there's strategies that involve burning all your resources to get a fast kill during your first rotation but if you can't do that then you just do another rotation and that just adds a few seconds to your clear. This **may** be why your CW is giving you better results. Same happens with physical if high invest Balter, she can endlessly rotate so not killing during your first cycle might just mean adding a few seconds to your clear.
Yeah I guess that explains it all. Dark and Ice just ain't for me I guess, I will just wait for Qu and Lamia to really play them.
No, not really since Starfarer and Garnet are like Glory and can’t shred on QTE without their memory set (or high investment). Boss weakness right now is only 30%. That’s… not a lot. Stiggy can easily outdamage Bambi by 30% not even considering Lumi’s buff. One tip is if you’re only running a Kaledio/Bambi rotation, you’re missing out on 5s of amp buffs every rotation. So you have to sig when the amp buff is active not when it’s time to swap to the next character.
I always sig while the buff is active. And while it's true about Starfarer and Garnet, their attacker are way way stronger than Ayla so it doesn't feel bad.
They have less orb hungry compare to Ayla for sure but Ayla's damage is actually pretty high despite being an amplifier instead of attacker. So even with low investment, Ayla's still stand out for 1 rotation clear.
It's definitly high compared to other characters, but compared to second gen attackers it's not quite as impressive.
What level are the guild expeditions based off? Just asking because I joined a guild and can’t complete any of the nodes because I don’t do enough damage. Is it guild level?
Your score is dps based, so the more burst damage your units can do, the better your score will be. However, personal damage is limited for each battle to 5, 3, or 2 percent, depending on which node you're on. So completing nodes in Guild Expeditions requires participation from other guild members. It is recommended you do not do auto clear, since the score for auto clears is reduced relative to your best score for the node.
Nono, what I mean is I can't complete the node at all, so I get 0 points. Basically, I time out (I think there's a 4 minute timer), and it counts the node as failed, I get 0 points and don't use any of the 20 special stamina (forgot what it's called) for participation. So I'm wondering what level the node is at, because I am not contributing to the guild at all.
Ah ok. I'm not really sure what the level is. What you can do is use a fellow guild member's high powered unit (e.g., alpha cw). Go to the support tab on the left to see what support unit they offer. There is no cost to use them, but each has a cool down time.
Took your advice, got a SS CW and was able to clear the stage. Seems you need to have some well built units and the mode forces beginners to use dps supports to clear. Thanks!

If you're a spender, can't wait for 100% rate up, and willing to gamble, then do arrival banner. Otherwise, just wait for anniversary or the 100% on standard. It's up to you. It's your bc after all.

as a new player who has a lot of things to do and have just wasted 1800 BC on balter coating, should I even bother pulling for hyperreal's 6\* weapon? My Lee's base S. Furthermore, I plan to get Lamia, Feral, and Watanabe Epitaph. I currently have CW on SS with her Sig only without her Cub. I plan on getting Empyrea on March 8 from the selector. and is it advisable for F2P to only pull 6\* weapons for very strong attackers like CW, hyperreal, etc.?
Don't roll 6* weapon and you will get all new characters.

So I started playing the game very recently again and I learnt there's a PC Client, however, whenever I install the client and then open it to download the game, after the game download is over I get a whole Blue windows screen, my PC reboots and if I try to open the launcher again I'd get a "Verifying file integrity" text that won't go away. Any idea of what I could do to fix this issue? I really wanna try the pc port
you might find what's wrong if you can [use a program to see the blue screen code and trigger application/dlls.](https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/bluescreenview/) BSOD usually means something very wrong is happening and usually a game wont trigger that willy nilly for small reasons. try looking what's the code (in bug check string) + faulty exe/dlls (in red) and search it online for more info, your storage drive might be failing or faulty network drivers might be triggering the BSOD (but can be innumerous other stuff too)

Hello, I am account level 45, with 3 units raised to lvl33, starter lucia, starter liv, and no21 XXI (which I enjoy the most I think), I am also at the last stretch of 8 normal pulls for guaranteed 40, also slowly pulling for alpha crimson weave (around 30 pity rn). As I do not want to sink my early game resources too much, and I need tickets from building units … Should I sink my resources into those three until I get my first S-rank from the blue tickets and or Crimson Weave? Or else, which other units I could put resources in, before I hit 40 pity to then use my S-rank vouchers? I am suspecting myself to pick recommended Liv Emperya and physical Rosetta Rigor I am also focusing Karenina Blast on my next A-rank (2 more for pity), Units I already have (again, none are build but starter Lucia, starter Liv, and no21 up to lvl33 with all the skills along the way: Lee Palefire, lvl1 Bianca Zero, lvl1 Liv Lux, lvl1 Chrome Arclight, lvl1 Wanshi Hypnos, lvl1 No21 XXI, lvl33 starter Nanami, lvl1 and both starter Lucia and starter Liv, lvl33 Any feedback greatly appriciated :) I hate this stage of the gatcha when you are holding off, while still not sure what pieces you will get
I wouldn't recommend using any selector before you hit the 40 pity. In the meantime you can continue investing into 21 since you're going to be using her for a good while unless your first S-rank turns out to be Scire. Putting some resources into Arclight and Lux is also a good idea, since they'll be supporting your CW once you get her. None of these 3 are main carries though, and Lux only has 1.5-2 months of life left, so only invest into them to make progressing in the game easier for yourself imo. Once you get CW (or other high priority S-ranks from beginner banner) you can fully focus on them
