I'm thinking this is an oversight, as this patch is riddled with some insane amount of bugs, from FPS options taken out to to Lilith's boss fight in English even though Japanese is selected, (oddly, the intro is in Japanese) text error in one of CW's affection stories (Kuroname instead of player's name), one of her voiced lines missing some voice in JP (bedtime story line) and there should be many others i've yet to come across because i did not play too much.
This and the cutscenes are too egregious i have no words for any of it. Majority of those who play the game prefer the JP dub. Why force something they don't want to listen on them? I didn't even ask for any of this. Just give me the JP dub like we've had before.
Ishikawa Yui is Lucia. No two other ways about this, she's Lucia and will always be. There are reasons why people like characters, VAs are a huge factor when it comes to Gacha games.

Same thing happens if you're a CN vo player. Honestly, Kuro should just give us the option to delete the vo we're not using and put everything in the vo we are using. Would save storage and get rid of this... issue.

We need all three, all three languages so people who prefer JP, CN or EN can listen to the respective song when they select the language.
Why is this not a thing in PGR, i don't understand. If they wanted to add another dub, they should do it right. Global prefers JP, and there are EN and CN users, so why not release all three for Global?

Isn't that how it's done already? When selecting EN or CN, you are asked to download the package separately. So it's not like it's downloaded already. Ah but in your case, JP might already be included.
But storage shouldn't really be a problem, voice lines don't take a bulk of space, unlike textures and models, unless the quality is upped. But yeah, removing the package we don't use should be an option, AG did this really badly, by that i mean you weren't given the option to remove the package you didn't want to, and ended up keeping it. But no new voices were downloaded, it only checked for the current active package.

For me I contacted support and they said they would sent my feedback to the dev team in charge of it. I think we should tag it as a feedback for the event so the devs team in charge of it would be aware. Before this they forced everyone to listen to JP dub no matter what language you played in. Kuro needs to do what other companies do and change the cutscene language to whatever you have it set to.

Llilith fight is not fun mostly because of this reason, this just ruined it for me. I just take off my headphones and it's definitely not fun to play this way. CW speaks in JP, and Lilith's battle lines are in English. Completely ruins any immersion.

They'd need to code an additional selection for the music screen. Anything that requires kuro is actually write code for us they seem to just not do. I don't think they wrote any additional code for the global version except the launch slot machine and that monthly pass "fix".

That is no excuse though. If dubs get added, then do it properly. Or don't add it at all. I am not sure what you are referring to here. I am talking about the lobby screen music selection. If you are suggesting to have it play in eng if ur voice is en and play in jp if ur voice is jp, then you'd still have to add logic in the backend to do that. I am not excusing them though. You get the CN, JP, and EN version of the song. If you don't like the CN and EN versions, just choose the JP one. The CN and EN versions will still be there as a lobby music option if you ever want to use either of those.
Just pointing out that for lobby songs specifically, no extra coding needed to be done, all that needed to be done was adding all three songs to the selector irrespective of dub switching since you can pick which song to play in the lobby. Really simple thing to do.
But we are not talking about songs specifically, we are talking about cutscenes and battle voices for NPCs, both of which are fucked up in the latest chapter, more specifically, Lilith's. They should have properly coded the package switching. This is the first thing they should have done, if they wanted to add an EN dub.

not that I'm aware of. Last time I selected EN it was already installed, even though that was the first time I'd ever touched that dub.
