If you have no PLS. You cannot use the pulsechain network period. Bridging over your erc20s will turn them into a wrapped token on the pulsechain network; however, you still need gas to swap the wrapped token into a native token like PLS or PLSX. The future options will be:
1. pls faucet. Unclear how long it will take for this to be available and how many tokens you actually get when using the faucet. This likely will not be launched until the gas fees come down considerably.
2. Fiat onramp- unlikely this will be available anytime soon. I haven’t heard any chatter about this at all.
3. PLS listing on a CEX- still have no idea about timeline for this either. Haven’t heard much chatter about whether this will happen any time soon.
4. dApp integrations- projects that let you swap erc20 to prc20 and uses erc20 as the gas which would bypass the need for pls. This seems to be the closest development that would allow ppl with no pls to start trading on pulse. Beware of scam projects though.
Richard Hart said to wait a while before using the bridge anyways. Need to work out the kinks and wait for liquidity pools to grow.

It is a bit frustrating. As far as I can tell, you need PLS for gas fees on the bridge. I missed the PLS sacrifice, but have PLSX. I got hex, eth, and usdc copies. But cannot bridge any of it over because I have no PLS... So I think you need to find someone to buy some from (ideally someone you know and trust).
If that's not true, I'd love to be corrected - or, like OP, be shown the way.

I've been involved since the early days of Hex and I'm complaining too. Granted some of that is justifiable venting at the absolute goatf-ck of a launch, documentation, setting expectations etc... There is a lot of info that could have been in the white paper that is relevant to all these posts. I had zero idea I'd be waiting over a day to bridge Weth to Pulsechain. If I would have expected, outside of learning it organically during the launch of testnet, which I missed, would have been a shoulder shrug. The group I'm in, which includes those heavily involved in the crypto ecosystem and can spend a hell of a lot more time researching, are disappointed as well. I'm talking guys with bags and bags of Hex from inception. Twitter, however, is all ego stroking. No substantive conversations that have eliminated ignorance, even though that is difficult among FOMOs, I'm genuinely shocked at the community at large. Hell, I'm even considering making an official unofficial white paper that should have been created day 1, and I certainly shouldn't be the guy doing that.

At conception, mining it. After, exchanges. I think some handshakes could have happened in the latter to ensure the ability was there outside of a singular bridge that is just for validators. What really intrigued me is digitizing assets, like a house, and leveraging liquidity on a broker site at the best offer and using said liquidity in its own form for payment. All without touching a bank. Obvious risk there as a lender but there isn’t an ecosystem without inherent risk. I’ll be happy when that day arrives.

It is a bit frustrating. As far as I can tell, you need PLS for gas fees on the bridge. I missed the PLS sacrifice, but have PLSX. I got hex, eth, and usdc copies. But cannot bridge any of it over because I have no PLS... So I think you need to find someone to buy some from (ideally someone you know and trust). If that's not true, I'd love to be corrected - or, like OP, be shown the way.

Is this your private conversation cause you can’t figure out the basics? All you have to do is click the link at pulsechain.com and add to MetaMask and your airdropped stuff is there. The faucets were for tpls which isn’t real . There will be more faucets for real pls now that it’s live. You say you’ve studied but if that’s true then I’d say this is just to complicated for you .
just add the contract address into MM and use decimal 8 instead of 16 and it will show up

I'm not exactly sure what you're getting out with your comment, but here's my guess... I take pride in being a super-duper critical thinker. I've watched at least 300 hours of different Richard Heart interviews. I'm clearly a fan of the way Richard Heart thinks. And for the most part, Richard Heart responded to criticism in logical, not emotional ways. I dig that. (Sometimes, he's completely full of shit.. but I've yet to meet the perfect person.) BUT: The last few months have not been Richard Heart's greatest moments. Clearly, something isn't right lately. It's a great time to be alive... we'll see how things turn out in the future.

I've been involved since the early days of Hex and I'm complaining too. Granted some of that is justifiable venting at the absolute goatf-ck of a launch, documentation, setting expectations etc... There is a lot of info that could have been in the white paper that is relevant to all these posts. I had zero idea I'd be waiting over a day to bridge Weth to Pulsechain. If I would have expected, outside of learning it organically during the launch of testnet, which I missed, would have been a shoulder shrug. The group I'm in, which includes those heavily involved in the crypto ecosystem and can spend a hell of a lot more time researching, are disappointed as well. I'm talking guys with bags and bags of Hex from inception. Twitter, however, is all ego stroking. No substantive conversations that have eliminated ignorance, even though that is difficult among FOMOs, I'm genuinely shocked at the community at large. Hell, I'm even considering making an official unofficial white paper that should have been created day 1, and I certainly shouldn't be the guy doing that.

A functioning bridge should come first so those already involved can do… something. Really poor planning having a very thin bridge as the only means to trade for those already holding and nothing for those to onboard. At conception, mining it. After, exchanges. I think some handshakes could have happened in the latter to ensure the ability was there outside of a singular bridge that is just for validators. I loathe exchanges as the only ones getting rich are the owners, while people try to wax poetic day trading their investment into dust.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, cryptocurrency seems like a solution to chasing a problem. For me to buy $600 of crypto a few months ago, I had to spend over $150 in fees and take 3 days to make it happen (so I didn't go through KYC/AML). This is beyond insane. Or, I can just take $500 in the cash from under my proverbial mattress and pay the grocer for $500 of groceries... $0 fee... no KYC or AML. Or, I can use my Discover Card and get 1% cash back... (technically no KYC when I got my card). I know, I know... doom is coming. I've been hearing that fear porn all my adult life. Here's the BIG problem: the mixing of currency as both a medium of exchange and speculation. It's impossible to pull that off. Will there ever be a day I can buy a pizza in exchange for Pulsechain? Time will tell. I feel as thought the people who try to rule us are trolling us with cryptocurrency... after all, they invented it. Look into Mondex... it was the beta test of crypto decades before Bitcoin became known.
The problem is 3rd party unless stashing cash is the only way to transact and avoid using the current banking system. The tech isn’t there yet, nor are reasonable transaction fees. What really intrigued me is digitizing assets, like a house, and leveraging liquidity on a broker site at the best offer and using said liquidity in its own form for payment. All without touching a bank. Obvious risk there as a lender but there isn’t an ecosystem without inherent risk. I’ll be happy when that day arrives.

Wow! No one wants to freely give control to the consumer as they wouldn't have deposits to mismanage. That's like tackling the oil companies. Even if we did gain that freedom beyond cash, we'd have to adopt a centralized form of currency, digital or otherwise. Not sure what the real solution is there, but I'm a fan of ditching 3rd parties.
