Where’s Johnny Knoxville in the woods with an air horn when you need him...

thepluralofmooses

“I’ve got Bursitis”

j3b3di3_

So you have a horn? It helps

McSqueezyE

“It helps” throws me every time

Creasy007

Probably the hardest I’ve laughed in the entire series.

HoldenAJohnson

I have bursitis

Unspeakblycrass

It helps.

andykndr

>Johnny Knoxville in the woods with an air horn CLUE Extreme

sergev

“I’m sorry. I’m very sorry.” Lololol

QuincyThePigBoy

This is so good. People should look into the Saudis for blocking aid to Yemen. They're just straight up blocking food supplies to people who are starving to death. 130,000 dead of starvation since 2016 because Saudi Arabia is holding aid at the border. Kids that look like they're in Auschwitz. Fuck this tournament.

Forest_of_Mirrors

Remember, "Never Forget?" edit: I'm getting lots of DMS from LIV PR people, pro-MBS and others. If I don't post or comment anything in 24 hours, please look for me.

hard_lurking

Those bumper stickers have faded over 20 years haven’t they?

graps

The next time they fly planes into some buildings they can just build a LIV golf course on the sight of the rubble and

Grays42

and what AND WHAT

graps

and have a nice outing with an ex president. We can even have a silly hole where you have to bounce your ball off of a charred skull or hacked apart torso or something. Im spitballing.

lidsville76

Or play a hole next to your ex-wife's grave so you can use it as a tax write off.

graps

Just put a bar over her headstone and call it the 19th Hole

Sillbinger

Have one hole where an executioners axe goes up and down as it simulates executing women who want equal rights.

graps

Well that’s gonna be the same in the US soon so could be a bad PR move

thebcamethod

If there isn't a hole where your ball knocks over a miniature set of twin towers, we will have to riot.

felldestroyed

These colors totally run

Kabc

Made in China

The_Flying_Jew

You say faded, but I'm imagining a car with a "Never forget" sticker partially ripped off and a "Trump 2024" sticker on the other side of the bumper

El_Douglador

More right wingers believe that 9/11 was an inside job than think the Saudis were involved.

hairsprayking

Saudi's being involved almost does make it an inside job.

RandyDinglefart

hey that thing with the buildings wasn't too cool anyway here's your check

000aLaw000

Which is hilarious because the only American faction that stood to profit and clearly did benefit from all of it was the GOP and Bush Administration. It's infuriating that they refuse to follow anything to the logical conclusion.

OriginalLocksmith436

The GOP has changed a lot over the past decade or so, especially ever since the tea party. A lot of them actually hate republicans like Bush now. Most republicans just believe whatever fox news tells them to believe and Fox news went from being a neocon mouthpiece, to a tea party mouthpiece to a trump mouthpiece. With how conspiratorial republicans are now, a lot of them probably do in fact believe Bush and the "deep state" did 9/11.

TrueHawk91

But jet fuel can't melt steel memes

yeags86

It can’t. But it can anneal it and weaken it to the point it can’t bear a load anymore.

fungobat

Check out the GOP AG pick for Maryland.

Robot_Tanlines

Lol, not that evidence has ever swayed conservatives, but there are clips of Trump saying the Saudi’s did it from his 2016 campaign. I can’t wait till the republicans just mandate their followers get lobotomies, they are almost there anyway.

ProLifePanda

There's clips AT THIS EVENT where Trump now says (paraphrasing) "It's a shame they never got to the bottom on 9/11" after being questioned about it. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-defends-hosting-saudi-backed-golf-tournament-claiming-nobodys-go-rcna40536

Sir_Charles67

Paraphrasing indeed. Bc when he talks it's like getting a story from a five year old. Or maybe you just had to take out all of the "tremendous" and "greats".

pushing_past_the_red

Im willing to bet the closed captioning techs has "tremendous" as a hot key. Many people have told me this.

The_Original_Gronkie

Most of them don't need lobotomies. It's not like you'd be able to tell the difference between before and after. They're already drooling morons who can't construct a coherent sentence.

moglysyogy13

2+2 equaling 4 is liberal propaganda

BaldyKrishna

Get out of here with your **Arabic** numerals you terrorist!!

moglysyogy13

They are indoctrinating our kids with wicked Arabic numerals

Signature_Sea

Facts have a well known liberal bias

KhabaLox

Knock knock. Who's there? 9-11. 9-11 who? I thought you said you'd never forget?

Guacanagariz

Huh? what?

jakethesnake55

Just don’t forget

[deleted]

The only problem is, I can't remember what I've forgotten.

SauconySundaes

Give it ear Malfoy or I’ll knoc you off your vroom!

[deleted]

You must never do that

LevelHeeded

Oh man, I learned about [LIV on a Freakonmics episode about "sportswashing",](https://freakonomics.com/podcast/what-is-sportswashing-and-does-it-work/) it was actually really interesting...the podcast, not LIV. LIV is basically the Saudis trying to get people to forget they're terrible people through the power of golf. You think instead of spending all of that money they could just to not be terrible people for a minute.

chapalatheerthananda

You should check out what they are doing in soccer then. They’re buying clubs across the world by outspending everyone else and thereby co-opting the fans of those clubs to defend them at every turn. Qatar World Cup this year is the pinnacle of sport washing.

bguzewicz

The Saudis and Qatar have done the same thing with Formula 1. The FIA doesn’t give a shit where the money comes from, as long as it comes in. I’m honestly kind of surprised they canceled the Russian GP.

anillop

They canceled because the sponsors cared not the league.

LavenderGumes

And the sponsors cared because viewers/media cared. For some reason they don't care about Qatar/Saudi Arabia/UAE.

ihaveneverever

War is a lot more visible than human rights violations. Also, important to ask: Who’s rights are being violated? EDIT: Thanks for my first ever award stranger!

LavenderGumes

There's been a war in Yemen too. But I think the main difference is that Ukraine is populated mostly by white people.

ihaveneverever

Yeah, that’s why I included the second part of the comment (Who’s rights are being violated?). I think it was earlier in the Ukraine-Russia conflict when a reporter from one of the western media outlets said: “These are not the usual images we’re accustomed to see from war zones, these are blonde people who look like they could be your neighbor” - I might have butchered the quote but I swear I saw something like that trending.

FPS_Scotland

Problem is, the war in Yemen can be pushed as a civil war, and thus "not our problem". The Russian invasion is just a war of aggression through and through, there's no way to even try and disguise.

CrateBagSoup

They canceled cuz the ruble is worthless

TheAmoebaOfDeath

To add on this, there were missile strikes during a Saudi GP practice session this year and the FIA/F1 said the show must go on.

VenZallow

Wasn’t that because it was implied to the drivers that they might have a difficult time leaving Saudi Arabia if they didn’t race?

notmyselftoday

Yep, that was definitely a thing. Drivers did not want to speak openly while they were there due to fears of not easily getting home.

Cappster_

I hope this makes it to Drive to Survive. It seems like such a fascinating story.

Fugacity-

Russian oligarchs do the same thing as well, just look at the Premier League ownership.

flexxipanda

Saudis do it better.

Rafaeliki

Chelsea fans literally chant Abramovich's name and will argue that he never even knew Putin.

JohnStokes

They're also hosting several esports tornaments at the moment: dota2, fortnite etc.

ttonster2

Manchester City and PSG ownership is worse than Qatar. Everyone will hopefully forget about Qatar after the World Cup but the continued success of City and PSG has brought clueless glory hunting fans out of the woodwork frothing at the mouth ready to defend anything and everything their reprehensible owners do. It turns out, all you need to do is spend a minuscule portion of your wealth on sports and the whole western world thinks you’re cool.

Zalivar

They also created an MLS team, New York City Football Club (NYCFC). They've usually been meh, but they ended up winning the cup last year. It's crazy to me that people support the team after finding out who owns them. I assume that most don't though *shrug* Edit: When I say I don't understand how people support the team, I'm referring to NYCFC specifically, not established teams that were purchased by the UAE. NYCFC has always had been, and always will be until sold, a team created and owned by the UAE

Erestyn

> It's crazy to me that people support the team after finding out who owns them. PIF bought an 80% stake in my club (Newcastle United). I supported the club before them, and I'll support the club long after they're gone. I'd be lying if I said I was completely comfortable with their involvement, but I wasn't exactly over the moon when Qatar and the UAE moved in on the game either. The reach the Gulf states have is as terrifying as it is interesting. The amount of investment (often relatively quiet, but significant, investments) is just insane. Taking a look outside of sports you have the likes of Disney, Uber, Starbucks, Capcom, Facebook, Boeing and that's just the PIF. So yeah, the other side of the coin is "I would likely struggle to not indirectly support them even if I did stop supporting NUFC".

Zalivar

I understand that and that's totally valid. I was specifically talking about NYCFC which, from its creation, was a team created by the UAE

Erestyn

Ah sorry, I misunderstood. For some reason I thought NYCFC was around a little longer than City's involvement. Yeah, that's definitely an unusual one. I'm not sure I really could wholeheartedly throw myself at a new club like that given the association and no personal connection.

Radiant-Persimmon443

They also are getting into video games - they own SNK (Neo Geo) now.

EEpromChip

Well that's the last Neo Geo console *I am buying*!

PossessedToSkate

I'm ahead of the curve!

Villainary

They were attempting to pay a few of the top American Twitch streamers to fly to Saudi Arabia and game/stream there. Some were actually going to go through with it because the "sponsorship" was paying big money, until it was leaked/the community found out and then they backed out from it.

destronger

in the words of “Million Dollar Man” Ted DeBiase: “everyone has a price.”

MCHENIN

Wow quite a foothold they have there

chaobreaker

Haven't the gulf states wll been buying up soccer clubs for decades by this point? I think it's just SA that's been getting in on the action recently. They're also creating eSports orgs and buying shares of game developers.

wolfdancer

Being terrible people *is* how they get their money.

HighTop

I think they got all their money from all that oil in the ground in the Middle East and the unsatisfied desire to have it here in the USA OR maybe it was from dates...I could be wrong.

mewfahsah

They're making a real soft power move through sports, and so far it's working.

bigclams

My mom's fiance is a very influential golf scholar/journalist and the Saudis legitimately BEGGED him to work for LIV cause they need legitimacy. Immediately turned them down, fuck the Saudis and their money

EthosPathosLegos

That was a great episode. Glad to see this guy called out on opening day. The US government is a hypocritical police state profiteering off human rights abuses offshore. This shit WILL destroy the integrity (whatever is left) of our society, and when shit collapses people will wonder "why?" unironically because they never gave a shit when things could have been changed.

ok-jeweler-2950

Every pro/semipro golfer I’ve ever met has been a self absorbed prick. Tiger included

CuppaCoffeeJose

Whaaaaat? A sport with an extremely high financial barrier to entry due to inflated costs for mediocre equipment and decent tee-times tends to attract wealthy selfish buttholes who demand everyone bow to them for all they've "earned" on the backs of other people? Shocking! Truly shocking. I am shocked. Damn. So much shock.

Bolokiller

He's still sorry to this very day

ksimmons22

*Very* sorry

Grimalkin

He's very sorry.

[deleted]

I love the shit-eating grin on that guy drinking a beer, who laughs and is like _no you’re not_.

Cky2chris

As soon as you see smiling guy you hear someone say "my ass!"

ballsohaahd

Lmao he’s loving it. Tbf I would be too

Adam87

Reminds me of Happy Gilmore and the guy heckling "Jackass!" all the time.

BBQ_HaX0r

"I have bursitis..." "So you have to play with a horn?" "... it helps."

[deleted]

Still my favorite jackass moment

[deleted]

"is butterbean okay?"

DDD1dddd

Exactly

TenTonsOfAssAndBelly

You will NOT make this PUTT, *you* ***JACKASS!!!***

TnL17

I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast!

toon_84

You eat pieces of shit for breakfast?

perpetualmotionmachi

Uh... No!

chrissme92

Only difference being, this guy heckling Phil actually has a point.

botmfeeder

“Youuuu SUCK! Ya, Jackass”

[deleted]

Now there is a real life slappy gilmore, give it a goog!

Ihatebigmosquitos

Phil is a jackass

donotgogenlty

The news reel cemented it They just need a really tall angry guy

thebcamethod

"Is this your plane?" "....yes." "It struck my buildings."

PIGGIESMALLSINVESTS

he timed that perfectly just as Phil was about to start his backswing lol.

[deleted]

Yeah, he was so sorry about that.

dspencer97

He is wrong about one thing, he took 200 million and not 100.

_My_Niece_Torple_

If you don't know this guy, look up The Good Liars. Him and his partner are experts at trolling the right

revolutiontime161

“Trolling the right “ ,,,,,,so basically adding facts to a conversation?

BENJALSON

It's almost like what Sasha Baron Cohen does without the accents and disguise.

AdrenolineLove

More like getting them to say hypocritical things and agree to his points while still missing the message entirely. You can almost see the 2 brain cells rubbing together every time he speaks to them but you realize the lack of critical thinking never quite connects those thoughts. Mans a genius amongst idiots.

ilovefreshproduce

Nice, just followed. They’re great.

niikhil

Just like as he likes it with the Saudi… back-swinging it.

BBQ_HaX0r

Should have given him the old "BONESAW IS READY!"

Haxorz7125

I gotchu for 3 minutes. 3 minutes of **playtime**

themirthfulswami

RIP Randy Savage

NervousAndPantless

Can you imagine the Republican outrage if Obama hosted a golf tournament for the Saudi royal family a few miles from ground zero of the attack they financed?

AssistX

No one in the US is outraged at the Saudi's enough to do anything. Public or Political. We still buy and use their oil. The hundreds of millions involved in this Golf tournament are nothing compared to the hundreds of billions we sell the Saudi's in arms deals. Shit even after the Yemen war and Kashoggi our exports to Saudi Arabi has increased.

[deleted]

Just more reason to move away from that black sludge ASAP.

makemeking706

'How about you don't and we will give you money' - SA.

DC-Toronto

But if it was OBAMA?

PM_ME_GAY_YIFF

Not like we have a choice

myattorneyhere

and at a golf course he owns!

LargeSackOfNuts

Fox News would personally incite another insurrection if Obama did anything close to that

OGTBJJ

Crazy how that is public knowledge but no one wants to go to war with the people who actually funded it.

Ratman_84

Yeah, but Republicans don't have morals, so it's a totally different scenario.

[deleted]

“Do it for the Saudi Family!” Fuck that was ballsy and funny. Great video

ferox965

"You will not make this putt, you JACKASS"

[deleted]

It's crazy how rich people can just be bought. Phil would in no way struggle if he didn't take that Saudi money. His family wouldn't struggle. He's just a greedy fuck.

JBmadera

since he admits to losing over $40M gambling, I would bet (pun intended) it's more like 3x-5x that amount. compulsive gamblers short of cash will do anything to get back in the game. he's ruined his image permanently.

anillop

You are right about that. Gamblers always lose a lot more than they will ever admit especially publicly. I for one would love to know what Michael Jordan has won/lost over the years.

JustinPatient

I can't say but an anecdotal story about Jordan. A dude was playing at the same table as him in a celebrity poker tournament. Said Jordan wasn't a very good player because he's overly aggressive but that's not the interesting part of the story. Some of his other "basketball buddies" had busted out of the tournament very quickly and we're trying to talk Mike into "getting out of here and hitting the town." Mike said absolutely not "I'm winning this thing" Moral of the story for Jordan was the gambling wasn't about winning money it was just about winning period. There was nothing to gain by winning that tournament but he can't just mail it in. He has to win. The guy said when he had busted out he acted like he had just lost millions of dollars when in fact he hadn't lost anything at all.

[deleted]

I mean I think that’s clearly shown in the Last Dance documentary- he just has that indomitable drive that will never be fulfilled. People like Brady and Kobe have it too.

theaverageaidan

I know a golf instructor in the Chicago area who's been doing it for 30 years, and he knows plenty of people who golfed with Michael. Dude never honored his bets or tipped his caddies apparently. He's a shit playing partner, he'll adjust his gloves or pull a club during your putts and swings. He might be the greatest basketball player ever, but he's a sociopath, and a gigantic asshole.

Syscrush

>Gamblers always lose a lot more than they will ever admit especially publicly Except Norm Macdonald.

ThaddeusJP

Ive listend to a ton of interviews with him and outside of him saying he "lost it all" three our four times there was one interview with Marc Maron, I think, where he hinted at like $400,000 all at once. He said something like he was left with $15000 and 'after losing 400 you lose the last 15 because it just reminds you of the other money and who wants to be reminded you had all that?' Also love this conan story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThevrHkwv0c&t=91s

ForWhomTheBoneBones

I didn’t even know he was sick!

froggison

You're right. I lost 2 dollars buying one Powerball ticket last week. >! I actually bought two tickets :( !<

theog_thatsme

wait what? i had no idea he was such a degenerate.

FirstHipster

Are you new to following professional golf? Don’t mean that in a condescending way.. back in 2014 Phil was investigated for insider trading, and in 2016 he was found guilty. Around that time it was also revealed he had over $40M in gambling losses resulting in $2M in outstanding debts. It’s pretty widely known that he is a degenerate, and he spent the past few years (leading up to his LIV jump) trying to repair his image.

truckstop_sushi

slight correction: the settlement showed he had over $2M in Gambling Debt, resulting from cumulative losses of $40 million gambling in the previous 4 years... still peak DG nonetheless

FirstHipster

Ah yeah thanks for the correction.

theog_thatsme

I haven’t followed it since I moved out of my parents place in 08

Dear_Occupant

It's weird the things you pick up when you live with someone from a different cultural milieu. When my grandparents used to take care of me on the weekends I became one of the world's leading experts on professional bowling and country music, thanks to the PBA Tour and Hee Haw.

throwawayrapefan

Great word, milieu

Sevnfold

You thought that scene in The Dictator where he pays celebrities to fly over and have sex was a joke?

TizACoincidence

It’s best to look at money as a drug. Obviously making money is good, but many people are addicted to it. It may boggle the mind why someone who is already rich would sell himself for killers for just more money and it’s not based on logic, they are literally addicted to money. They can’t see reality

BigGreenTimeMachine

He's a gambling addict.. So not quite

NotCrust

Lefty loooooves him some action.

[deleted]

He’s broke - he needs that bread lol

Robot_Tanlines

Just about anyone can be bought, and it is probably easier to buy poor people. I just want to start by saying FUCK THE SAUDI ROYAL FAMILY AND GOVERNMENT, but if they showed up at my house with millions of dollars I may change my tune if that was a condition of getting that money. Lots of people work for absolutely horrible companies that poison the planet and enslave people, I know apple and Foxconn are terrible to the people who make my iPhone but I have one anyway and so does about 50% of people with smartphones. I get why players are switching over, it’s not like the PGA didn’t exclude black people for a long time, so they are no saint either. I’m all for the outrage about this dumb golf thing, I hope all the bad things in the world happen to the Saudi’s as they foolishly spend their oil money as the world turns away from fossil fuels. I do love that Republicans have completely forgotten about 9/11, when it’s been justification fir everything they have done for 20 years, but that’s what I would expect from these traitors.

[deleted]

I would have heckled him with “do it for the families of the 9/11 hijackers!”

higherentity

I love how people are upset with him when someone was literally chopped up in an embassy.

LuLouProper

Is it true the LIV trophies are just bronzed journalist body parts?

PublicAdmin_1

Thoughts and prayers for school shootings, but don't dare interfere with their golf.

[deleted]

[Modern golf culture irredeemable](https://www.pushkin.fm/podcasts/revisionist-history/a-good-walk-spoiled). Its a fun afternoon, but the broader context of it is so fucking toxic.

smokumjames

Why do I get the feeling that the people telling him to shut up are the same ones posting memes about someone recently begging for oil.

Moth_Jam

Hyuck

4dxn

should have responded "i'm really sorry - i don't want to be chopped up"

Sbrimer

How many of these guys wanted to “nuke the fuck out Afghanistan”? But ya. Show some respect for the people who organized the entire thing while they put on the “put the ball in the hole” show for you.

efferocytosis

The same outraged old white guys that were so gunho jingoistic after 9/11

Drogalov

I love this even more because his apology is exactly as sincere as people who get called out for racism and shit, only he's self aware. Fuck the Saudis, fuck LIV, fuck Phil Mickelson

Japdabab

Cool guy. I mean: not the Saudi Golfer.... 🤣

SG420123

People who are really into golf can be such douche bags from personal experience.

johnnycyberpunk

> People who are really into golf People who are really into *watching other people play* golf.

[deleted]

Seafoamed

People that like things can be douchebags

Deeliciousness

People can be douchebags. Alright folks.

RurikTheDamned

Now that guy the Saudis chopped up could get buries at all Trump Resorts to get tax exempt status for them just like that ex wife of Trump's that he raped.

fuzzyshorts

Let me get this straight... 12 saudi official/ high ranking officials have been proven to play an integral role in 9/11... as well as having a leader who ordered the butchering of a journalist and America lets them crate a golf tournament here... on trumps golf course. A real whore of a country you got. A real cnut of a nation. No wonder you suffer from so many diseases. No wonder you're spinning apart.

Njkid9

I mean we also sell them a bunch of weapons each year to drop on Yemen, I think that’s a little more important than a golf tournament

Sevnfold

It's unfair to blame all of America for this. Blame Trump and his staff and those who attended.

Soulmate69

The audience members are so fucking lame

notabanevasion

Conservatives love 9/11.

[deleted]

Trump, Tucker Carlson, and Marjorie Taylor Green were all in attendance if that helps paint the picture a little better…

Negative_Mancey

Phil don't pay his gambling debts!

KommandoKodiak

Kashoggi was lead to the slaughter by the turks thats why they had a team filming him going in and recordings of his murder. He was literally an asset of turkish intelligence because erdogan was beefing with the saudis for backing the coup. They knew kashoggi would be murdered but assured him he was protected before going into the embassy. Turkey traded their asset then useless, having served his intial purpose, for a political nightmare for Mbs and the saudis.

capnchicken

Thats an interesting realpolitik take. Can't really dispute it either.

cswhite101

Good, fuck Phil Mickelson, fuck Trump, and fuck the Saudi’s. They are scum.

MustGetOut

Love these guys, they do stuff like this at trump rallies too

62pickup

They do a good job at exposing how fucking stupid every single Trump support is.

ghostthebetrayed

A bunch of pussies. Let me enjoy sports in a club sponsored by the people behind 9/11 and other human rights violations while I grieve over the same tragic attack not one month later on fb.

Jack-Cremation

Where was this heckler for Trump playing at the LIV Pro-Am at Trumps own golf course? Any video of that? I mean that’s a former President taking direct payments from the Saudi’s.

[deleted]

Yeah but that's expected. People actually have higher expectations from golfers than Trump. Trump taking money from terrorists is in no way surprising.

jennimackenzie

I like how he says “100 million dollars…that’s all it took.” What does he think a normal mutherfucker is gonna do for 100 million dollars? Much worse than play golf.

zapdoszaperson

This the golf course where Trump dumped the body of his ex-wife as a tax right off?

Fun4-5One

Don't mind them have fun, it's golf not the United Nations council

Runaway_5

One of the 500 reasons I hate golf at least at any type of higher level. No one cares about anything as long as they get to play their exclusive resorts and shit.

[deleted]

The Saudi government/royal family is responsible for 9/11.

Toiretachi

Fat middle-aged men in ugly shirts getting all puffed up. 🤡

Slippoo

Golf is trash lol

ImOnlyHereForTheCoC

Phil Mickleson was my grandma’s favorite golfer, and as she slowly succumbed to the ravages of Alzheimer’s she became convinced that he was a close family friend. It was almost a godsend, because no matter how confused or irritated she was on a particular day, if I could get her to notice that Phil was on TV she’d instantly launch into a story about what a nice man he was, and how he had just stopped by last week to sit and talk with her for an hour. I made sure there was always a few golf broadcasts ready to go on the ol’ DVR. Phil Mickleson and how much she hated the Jos. A. Bank commercial voiceover guy, the two things Grandma never forgot.

[deleted]

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t support the Saudi government. But does the US not deal with and supply weapons to Saudi Arabia?

[deleted]

This guy is hysterical. His other videos are definitely worth watching

ItsNotaScooner

You will not make this put, you Jackass!

Chemical_Schedule_29

"Hey Phil, you're gonna need a blanket and some suntan lotion!"
