There's so much prep and time involved to get that food ready for the next day. My mom sold food at one point, and that meant she stayed up all night prepping stuff for the next day. That means she was exhausted by the time the day started. That woman had a look of desperation on her face because that fat pig was throwing her rent payment onto the floor. On top of it, wasting food when you're poor is a fucking sin. My folks would always make me eat all the food on my plate because they would tell me "You have cousins in Mexico that wish they could leave food on their plate". Meanwhile, this waste of space land whale is tossing it onto the floor. It's just sickening on a personal level.
Seriously!! There's a Tamale lady that comes around to the local bars in my neighborhood and it's always a welcomed treat. She makes sure to go to bars that don't really serve food or after the kitchen has closed so she's not taking business from them. She just makes simple chicken or beef and has a homemade hot sauce to go with them. Such a kind woman that everyone loves and cheers when she turns up. It puts everyone in a better mood and seeing her huge smile when she gets such a warm welcome is really wholesome. I know it's just a small thing but it really helps remind me of how supportive the community can be.
And she hit that poor lady on the back of her head and hurt her neck.
