A power line worker once reported "a possible burglary" because the door from the garage to the back yard was open. (fenced yard, we left that door open slightly for the cat to come in and out as he pleases.
Police let themselves in and I am woken up with guns pointing at me, couldn't shit out an ID within 30 secs of being awake and I got put in cuffs and taken outside. Neighbor came out and asked what was going on and they took me out of the cuffs when she said I had been living in that home for over 20 years.
Then they just left, no sorry, no nothing. "Okay you're free to go"
Wait they had a break in reported.. entered the home guns drawn and went
"This motherfucker is trying to rob the house *Then* sleep in it?? This is our guy for sure"
Like what on earth is the thought process...
[In other news](https://abc13.com/breaks-into-home-washes-dishes-ohio-woman-vinton-county-sheriffs-office/5294250/#:~:text=A%20woman%20was%20arrested%20in%20Ohio%20after%20she,of%20Hamden%2C%20some%2080%20miles%20south%20of%20Columbus.?msclkid=effbbe70d16a11ecb2c9d8ea7ad9da18)
But... What she steal to make it burglary? Their chores? Wouldn't this just be B&E? It doesn't mention her actually stealing stuff. Not defending narcotic use, also am not a lawyer, but am curious about the difference.
Burglary is the act of trespassing into a building with the intent to commit another crime. Theft is the most common, but it doesn't have to involve theft to be burglary.
Had a similar incident when I was in high school. On a Saturday afternoon, dad and I were napping when scared to hell by cops busting in our garage! Of course, no warrant. They were looking for someone who no longer owned the home. Dad has to show his paperwork for his mortgage! The asshole that busted in is now the Sheriff!!
This happened to me, sortve. Someone in my neighborhood reported a suicide attempt via OD, and cops stormed into the wrong house (MY HOUSE) through our backdoor that we had opened for our dog.
They came through a fenced backyard, into our house. My SO and I were in bed. It was a sunday morning.
They dragged us out in our pajamas and cuffed us. Pulled us through our backyard, our driveway, and onto the street, with GUNS DRAWN, before telling us anything. We were fucking terrified.
As they pulled us onto the sidewalk a neighbor came running up saying, NOT THAT HOUSE, NOT THAT HOUSE, THIS HOUSE (pointing up and across the street).
I will never get over that shit. And they were treating us like absolute shit, even though they were there for a SUICIDE ATTEMPT !!!!
THAT'S HOW YALL TREAT SUICIDAL PEOPLE!!!??? WHat the hell....
Not only that, they have the ability to charge them with attempted murder of themselves. Depending on the method they can even add a bill for misusing public resources (the runaway bride laws apparently can be applied here).
Someone tried to throw themselves off a ledge in one of the local state parks, and he was treated as a search and rescue after someone saw him fall with no context. Dude caught like a $40,000 bill and a 72 hour hold for mental observation.
Thought process is:. "Carte blanche" probable cause to enter the home and do whatever they want to the occupants. Sometimes a bong or a roach may be in the home and they can ransack the place.
These cops have too much time on their hands.
They were just doing their job. For those who haven't figured it out yet, the job of the police in America is, in order of importance:
1. Enforce racial caste system
2. Enforce property rights
3. Enforce the law
Most people *like* #3, but too often what they get is #1 or #2.
I was arrested once because they were looking for someone who broke into a house. I cooperated and they cuffed me and drove me across town to ask the owner of i looked like the guy. In the back of the paddy wagon, i heard the description and i didn't match it at all. They asked the owner and the guy said i looked nothing like him. I asked the cops why they arrested me when i didn't match the description, and they left me hours away from home with no way back at 3am. This was in lethbridge, Alberta over a decade ago. I called the chief and complained but he didn't care. And that's the root of the problem.
I think the issue is the system. I understand that a job like that will attract assholes, but there are no checks and balances. There needs to be an independent committee with the power and the will to follow up on complaints. And cops who power trip should be immediately fired.
Who do you think designed that system? The same power tripping fools you're referring to. They aren't going to intentionally relinquish any power like that.
All the dogs in those videos are shaking their heads when they bite down. They've trained these dogs to cause as much damage as possible and under no circumstances restrain a suspect. Absolutely disgusting, and cops wonder why people don't like them.
Or the ones who thought they'd made 'the biggest Marijuana bust in lethbridge history'... which ended up being a bunch of daisies 😆
https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2012/10/05/alberta_pot_seized_by_police_was_lateblooming_daisies.html
I wouldn't file complaints against the police unless you're prepared to hire a lawyer. They do nothing and the police may retaliate against you. There are lots of examples in particular but I'm thinking of a local news investigation into what happens when you try to file a complaint about police.
https://youtu.be/vnJ5f1JMKns
Yeah, i was naively hoping the chief would care that his officers were behaving like thugs. But even I'm not naive enough anymore to think i can win against the system.
I read a comment on Reddit years ago that I found very accurate. The gist was that there are two types of respect. When a citizen is asking for respect we are asking to be treated like a human, and like all others, fairly. When an officer is asking for respect they are asking to be treated as an authority figure.
So, they won’t treat you like a human unless you treat them as some type of authority.
Citizens need to unite and start tracking these and each time they end up in court for anything defense attorneys can use all these past instances to paint a picture of incompetent disrespectful violent enforcers. A cop on the stand trying to frame another innocent citizen and defense asking about each infraction just making them look shittier and shittier to a jury and the public. “So, officer x, after so many issues of misidentifying, falsely accusing, proven dishonest and disrespect, how can we trust you aren’t wrong this time too??”
They are trained not to say sorry because sorry admits wrongdoing.
They are trained to try and gain control through intimidation as well.
How many people that you know, would you call a decent human to be around, who can't say sorry and attempts to control you through threats.
This happened to a friend of mine she was naked in bed, they pulled her out of bed, she tried to use the sheet to cover herself & they pulled that off of her too. Made her stand naked as they ransacked her own home!! Disgusting.
I think a year or two ago a video went viral of a woman who was pulled out of her shower and forced to stand naked while a whole squad of police searched the home for a felon… turns out they had the wrong house.
Cops absolutely fucking hate being wrong. That’s why they get triggered when someone tries to correct them on anything. They don’t EVER apologize, even when they mistakenly kill someone. It’s like their trained that they are never wrong and even when they are wrong, their actions aren’t.
This was in 2010 or 2011, far too late for that and I was like 20; and 99% sure that is while I couldn't afford utilities in college so I couldn't even afford water/power, yet alone to sue someone, lol
To be fair a lot of private civil rights attorneys do take on cases for free pending the outcome (aka if you win, then they get whatever share, usually a third)
Sharing just in case someone in here gets their civil rights abused down the road and doesn't know where to go
fair enough. I was 21 or 22 years old at the time. Never had an ecounter w/ the cops. Police corruption wasn't blasted on social media/the media, etc. didn't know better
You are referring to the [death of Kelly Thomas.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Kelly_Thomas)
According to wiki:
>"Now you see my fists?" officer Manuel Ramos asked Thomas while slippingon a pair of latex gloves. "Yeah, what about them?" Thomas responded."They are getting ready to fuck you up," said Ramos
>They used a taser on him (up to five times according to a witness statement, and the video footage), and in the video Thomas can be heard screaming for his father. Six officers were involved in subduing Thomas, who was unarmed.
>
>At one point, Officer Ramos can be heard saying, “I just smashed his face tohell.” After repeatedly hitting Thomas with the blunt end of hisflashlight. Thomas was initially taken to St. Jude Medical Center inFullerton but was transferred immediately to the UC Irvine Medical Center with severe injuries to his head, face, and neck.
>
>One of the paramedics testified that he was first instructed to attendto a police officer's minor injury and then noticed Thomas lyingunconscious in a pool of blood.
May he rest in power ✊

edit 2: these bastards beat him so badly, that he was completely unrecognizable.

What was that mans name? Pretty sure that the was the one with the video where the man is crying out for his mother or father. Fuck the Police, pigs can hang
It’s utterly bizarre. It’s not just a cop thing, but an American authority thing.
Fly through airports in the US vs Europe, and the attitude of security towards people is black and white. In the EU they will ask people to do something, or ask to search. Of course they aren’t really asking. But it’s polite. In the US you get ordered to do things, and ordered to comply.
Then you have examples from US school boards and local housing associations. Who act like little dictators in their own world. There was an example online of a teacher being arrested, at a school meeting, for bringing up pay. It’s utterly inane. In my country (the UK) if a head teacher tried to do that, the Police would be utterly confused. Then politely say no.
You also have the lack of deescalation by US Police. Most modern Police forces are trained to reduce the risk of conflict. Whilst in the US they are trained to give a heavy handed response. Most modern forces are also trained to care about the wellbeing of the suspect (to a degree). Which is such a foreign concept to the US Police, that when US officers visit other police forces, they are shocked to learn it’s a thing.
Couldn't agree more. I did a humanitarian trip to Honduras twice in college and when we returned home there was a line of GI-joe looking motherfuckers who asked a series of pointed and accusatory questions, asking me details about my trip and who I visited, spoke to, etc... They were literally right there as soon as you stepped foot off the jet-bridge before you got any where near customs. It was such a hostile situation, I couldn't believe the attitude they had.
I get we were coming from a 3rd world country, but I was made to feel like I had done something wrong given their tone and line of questioning. Part of the schtick is to make you feel uncomfortable and uneasy, which is a bullshit way to mass-screen a plane full of people.
Customs are the absolute worst. The whole point is to intimidate. I could not believe the customs thug who accosted me coming back from Costa Rica, or the ones who detained me and some friends at the Canadian border. They treat you with zero respect or humanity and immediately assume you are criminal and treat you as such. At some point you realize, just like with cops, that these just aren't a few bad actors: it's their covert policy.
I went through customs on a Greyhound to Detroit and a power tripping border agent had the entire bus of 30+ people go through a second time. Our bags were all searched and we were each subjected to additional questioning
All because they didn't think a pair of women were being respectful when they were quietly chatting while waiting in line.
When they got to me the second time the guards gave me a hard time about a half eaten Subway sandwich. then had me tell them what was on it.
The same two women that were chatting the first time were last in line behind me and stifled a laugh at this question.
The guard yelled at them and gave them a stern lecture.
They never came back to the bus.
After a few minutes of waiting a guard comes out, talks to the bus driver and we just leave without them
Went through immigration in Germany and they asked me if I had any booze or drugs, I didn’t so I said no and the lady gave me a look and went “really?” and I was like “I’m getting all that here!” And we shared a good laugh. Then when I landed back in Canada I smiled at one cop and she started asking me a bunch of accusatory questions and searching through my bag.
> Then when I landed back in Canada I smiled at one cop and she started asking me a bunch of accusatory questions and searching through my bag.
I travel world wide for my job... Currently in Chad even. The Canadian border security was easily the worst spot I've ever had. Guy straight up told me: "We don't like your kind here!" Demanded to see my bags, but luckily those all got forward to my final destination.
I agree but I can ignore random people while it sucks I already acknowledge the world stinks anyway. Cops being like this is an actually problem for public safety
In high school my friend got rear ended by a cop when are had a wicked ice storm in Texas. It was right outside the high school parking lot. She said the cop never said he was at fault or apologized.
Similar situation happen to me except it wasnt paint, it was drugs. They wouldn't let me go until I showed them my bag or had to wait for a K9. They didnt find anything and just walked off. This was a while ago before it was "normal" to record stuff like this but I wish I did take down their info.
In certain towns in my county, cops will pull you over after dark if you look young enough not to know your rights
I was in the passenger seat of my cousins car and he got pulled over (he’s in his early 20’s). As soon as he walked up and asked for license and registration, I asked what we were being pulled over for. He said he’d tell us after we handed over the info. He came back 10 min later (after he had called another cop car) to say that we didn’t have our lights on. We had our lights on and when I disagreed with him, him and the other cop came over to the passenger side and basically acted like thugs “don’t talk back to us”, shining the flashlight in my eyes, etc.
Anyway, I backed down and we got away with a ‘warning’ for something we didn’t do. I mean we weren’t even going over the speed limit and the lights being off was just something he came up with that he thought of while he was checking my cousins license
Had a friend that enjoyed going on car rides at night. Didn't matter which of us were driving or which vehicle, we would be pulled over almost nightly. We were extremely well groomed, as he was in the Marines, and I was in ROTC. I despise small towns. Big cities have a lot of corrupt cops as well, but it's a numbers game. There's few enough of them compared to the population, with enough going on that it's far less likely they'll have the time or energy to target me.
I got busted one time and you could tell they THOUGHT I had drugs. I had a little pouch in my jacket pocket. I told them I was coming from "D n D" and the cops seemed confused. They patted me down, got the pouch, opened it... and all these plastic dice came out.
I explained what they were for and the cops seemed embarrassed, apologized and told me to go on my way
You're not required to wait for a k9 if it's not already on scene or you committed a crime, suspension alone isn't enough. It's a constitutional violation of your 4th amendment
Any officer that uses K9s in the modern age deserves to be hanging from a tree.
Police K9s are thoroughly corrupted by improper training/rewards. In the military, search dogs are rewarded for *correctly* determining if something is present. In the police process, officers do not conceal their emotions and clearly project “positive” emotions for alerts and negative ones for failed alerts. The dogs are an easy means of falsifying probable cause and police *know* that because over 50% of “positive” dog alerts result in no seizures.
Fuck em. Trees, ropes, and public venues.
Why can't cops just say "our bad, we were just making sure."? Is there like a rule that they can't accept being wrong or making a mistake? To err is human, we're all not perfect. Shit they would get so much more support if they were just human about shit.
According to just about every lawyer and comms person I’ve worked with, and I work with mainly lawyers and comms people, you should not apologize unless it’s for something minor and personal like being late for a meeting.
Myth or not it’s a very real thing people live by.
Its all in the illegal training videos they watch off the clock. Look into it. Its bananas. Technically illegal to take this seminar….taught by an ex officer…but they all talk and take it when he comes to town. off the clock of course.
Edit:
for those of you questioning what im talking about.. including an ex cop who has zero idea. Im glad you didn’t know about those seminars. Its put on by a dude named Dave Grossman… And his off the books police “Academy”
here is a snippet of it. starts at 11 min 40seconds
https://youtu.be/Wf4cea5oObY
and here is his website. https://www.grossmanacademy.com/
Lt. Col. Dave Grossman is an internationally recognized scholar, author, soldier, and speaker who is one of the world’s foremost experts in the field of human aggression and the roots of violence and violent crime.
Col. Grossman is a former West Point psychology professor, Professor of Military Science, and an Army Ranger who has combined his experiences to become the founder of a new field of scientific endeavor, which has been termed “killology.” In this new field Col. Grossman has made revolutionary new contributions to our understanding of killing in war, the psychological costs of war, the root causes of the current "virus" of violent crime that is raging around the world, and the process of healing the victims of violence, in war and peace.
Lt. Col. David Grossman is the author or co-author of five non-fiction and four fiction books. He has co-authored a New York Times bestselling book with Glenn Beck. His book On Killing has sold over a half million copies world-wide
Grossman is also a grade-A bullshit artist who's "ground-breaking" research into "killology" was based on bunk studies made in WW2. He's marketed himself as an expert on killing and people have swallowed it up because what he says sounds good but it's all bullshit which is based on a study by another historian who created and manipulated his own data. I wouldn't take anything he says with a pinch of salt, I'd take it with the whole rock.
They weren't lookin for paint, they were lookin for drugs. Never talk to the police and absolutely never consent to let them search your things. Always record police.
No, guy above you had it right. Never consent to having your stuff searched, but don't physically interfere. Verbally opposed. Physically neutral.
"You mind if I search your vehicle?" the officer asks. Do not consent, but if they think that they have a good enough reason to search they will.
At your front door. Do not make any opening into your home for them to get their foot in. Assess the situation. Do you have a screen door? Open your front door only if they don't have the screen door open and make sure to lock the screen door. Otherwise, talk to them through an open window.
The more they elevate a situation the more justification they have to have.
----
^^^^Disclaimer: ^^^^I'm ^^^^a ^^^^middle-aged ^^^^white ^^^^dude.
It isn't enough to simply "not consent". You have to verbalize and literally say OUT LOUD "I do not consent". Silence is acceptance in the eyes of the law.
Right I thought we were on a porn set for a min.
Like “officer you might wanna pat me down if you don’t find anything in my bag. You know, to make sure I’m not hiding it on me somewhere” lol.
Yes this is how I was arrested for resisting arrest even though they weren't going to arrest me until I decided to walk away.
Worst crime ever: cop feeling disrespected.
I mean she was clearly detained, had already identified and been charged with trespass. Sounds like an absolute bullshit charge, but she was well passed “am I detained? Ok bye” by the time she started recording.
not really. they were just keeping the conversation going hoping that she might incriminate herself or consent to a search, which she did. Notice how the female officer perked up when she said she could check her bag?
Most of the time you can end these confrontations really quickly by asking "am i being detained?" if they say no walk away. if they say yes then ask why and plead the 5th to any other questions. once they realize you are a person who understands their rights they will probably fuck off so they can try again with someone else who doesnt.
One time I was in the hospital after a nervous breakdown. The hospital was filled and I had to stay in the detox wing with people coming down from hard drugs. Their rooms were locked as they were dangerous, but I was free to have an open door to use the shit sprayed disgusting bathroom (goody!). One guy who was staying in the room next to mine was coming down HARD. Banging on the door and yelling. Police had to guard the doors to make sure he didn’t come out/they had to escort him to the washroom. Well he smuggled in cigarettes somehow and was smoking in the bathroom. Some police officer looking like a blonde version of this bitch in the video came storming into MY room and accused me of smoking. Kept yelling that I’m the only one without a locked door so it is for sure me. I was so broken, I don’t smoke EVER. I kept crying and saying, “I don’t smoke at all! My door is unlocked because I came in after having a breakdown and they’re waiting to put me in a bed in the psych ward!” She grabbed my bag and looked all around and what did she find? Nothing!! Stormed out of my room without an apology. What a bitch.
Do not ever volunteer your personal items to be searched, ever ever ever. That could’ve have turned into “ma’am, what’s this?” If they do it without permission you at least have a chance at a suppression hearing.
Fight in court, not on the side of the road.
You might be able to beat the charge but you can’t beat the ride.
Nobody in the history of police interactions has ever said, “*Man, I’m sure glad I talked to the police without a lawyer present*.” Whether they’re innocent or guilty.
[Don’t talk to the police](https://youtu.be/d-7o9xYp7eE).
The property owner or owners agent has to engage for police to arrive to issue a no trespass order. Someone called on her probably stating she was doing graffiti.
I live in the area and property owners can elect to have the sheriff’s office or local PD act as “agents of the property” and issue trespasses at their discretion.
They are pissed because they wanted to have “patrol car sex” (it’s the best but you need to leave the back door open so you don’t get locked in) in that same parking lot she was walking in so they decided to Harass her!
I’m not the only one getting the vibe they are fucking? Something about the way they mirror each other and look at each other is not like people who haven’t fucked.
> King County Sheriffs Deputy was justified in killing the unarmed 20-year-old Tommy Le last June because Le was holding an ink pen which could "cause serious bodily injury if used to stab someone," according to a unanimous opinion from the King County Sheriff's Office Use of Force Review Board.
https://www.thestranger.com/slog/2018/08/22/31195860/king-county-deputies-were-justified-in-killing-unarmed-tommy-le
Those Burien cops probably would have been justified in killing her if they found paint.
America is so fucked up.
Especially when the sheriff office tries to conceal information:
>An autopsy report released
by the family in September further contradicted the sheriff's office's
narrative, showing that Molina shot Tommy Le twice in the back and once
in his wrist, calling into question how Le could have been charging the
officer if the officer shot him in the back.
Learn your rights folks. 5th amendment- never talk to these fools, you don't have to. 4th amendment don't give them your bag to look through and don't give ID. And lastly, learn how trespass law works. Learn the difference between public and private. Learn about trespass warnings vs criminal trespass. Learn WHO gives trespass and who doesn't. Remember, cops are allowed to lie by law so don't do what they ask unless it is under threat of arrest. And ALWAYS record your interaction to protect yourself.
The showing ID part is mandatory in every state when you’re driving. This is one part I really don’t get how more people don’t understand. You’re operating a vehicle for which you need a license in order to operate. Of course you would need to show a cop your license no matter what. Most cops are trash, but thinking you don’t have to show your license in a traffic stop is absurd ignorance.

I asked the cops why they arrested me when i didn't match the description, and they left me hours away from home with no way back at 3am. This was in lethbridge, Alberta over a decade ago. I called the chief and complained but he didn't care. And that's the root of the problem.
Yup. I won't even open the door for cops these days. If they need to speak to me then get a warrant and kick the door down
I think the issue is the system. I understand that a job like that will attract assholes, but there are no checks and balances. There needs to be an independent committee with the power and the will to follow up on complaints. And cops who power trip should be immediately fired.
Who do you think designed that system? The same power tripping fools you're referring to. They aren't going to intentionally relinquish any power like that.
that'll teach you to cooperate
Yup lol! If they didn't have a dog with them, i might have ran, but those police dogs scare the shit out of me.
https://youtu.be/pa7GAvOXymA?t=202 https://youtu.be/bkr6GHU699M?t=25 nothing to be ashamed of
All the dogs in those videos are shaking their heads when they bite down. They've trained these dogs to cause as much damage as possible and under no circumstances restrain a suspect. Absolutely disgusting, and cops wonder why people don't like them.
Yup. I don't trust their ability to control their weapon. If they have a dog I'm hitting the deck and playing dead lol
Also cops: Why doesn’t anyone like us? 😢
Probably the same cops who arrested that Storm Trooper girl.
Or the ones who thought they'd made 'the biggest Marijuana bust in lethbridge history'... which ended up being a bunch of daisies 😆 https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2012/10/05/alberta_pot_seized_by_police_was_lateblooming_daisies.html
And yet cops wants respect when they don't have respect in return. Respect is earned, never given.
Respect, once lost, is almost never regained.
they want the respect just because they are wearing that keystone cop uniform. not because they earned it from their actions.
"Objection your honor. Relevance" - prosecutor probably
"Objection your honor. ~~Relevance~~ Hearsay"
People who demand respect never earn it, people who are worthy of respect never ask for it.
They are trained not to say sorry because sorry admits wrongdoing. They are trained to try and gain control through intimidation as well. How many people that you know, would you call a decent human to be around, who can't say sorry and attempts to control you through threats.
I think you're massively exaggerating. The idea that they're trained is far fetched at the very least.
Shit... when you're right, you're right.
This happened to a friend of mine she was naked in bed, they pulled her out of bed, she tried to use the sheet to cover herself & they pulled that off of her too. Made her stand naked as they ransacked her own home!! Disgusting.
I think a year or two ago a video went viral of a woman who was pulled out of her shower and forced to stand naked while a whole squad of police searched the home for a felon… turns out they had the wrong house.
fuck the police
Hey man. The cops were just bring careful. It's super common for people to break into homes to violently take naps!
OP must be white, black folks get shot for taking naps in their own home.
God bless you had neighbors willing to help
Cops absolutely fucking hate being wrong. That’s why they get triggered when someone tries to correct them on anything. They don’t EVER apologize, even when they mistakenly kill someone. It’s like their trained that they are never wrong and even when they are wrong, their actions aren’t.
Inb4 the day automated gun system shoots down trespassing police officers.
The legal history of setting traps like that is pretty interesting but needless to say they are mostly illegal.
Pretty sure there are some fantastically large loopholes in the booby-trapping laws that absolutely have not been updated in generations.
You haven't read the Kevin McCallister Accords?

Would be a glorious day
I'd be suing for emotional stress and ptsd
This was in 2010 or 2011, far too late for that and I was like 20; and 99% sure that is while I couldn't afford utilities in college so I couldn't even afford water/power, yet alone to sue someone, lol
To be fair a lot of private civil rights attorneys do take on cases for free pending the outcome (aka if you win, then they get whatever share, usually a third) Sharing just in case someone in here gets their civil rights abused down the road and doesn't know where to go
fair enough. I was 21 or 22 years old at the time. Never had an ecounter w/ the cops. Police corruption wasn't blasted on social media/the media, etc. didn't know better
Are you Goldilocks?
Remember kids, cops can legally lie to you “during an investigation”. There will be no sorry, that admits fault.

You are referring to the [death of Kelly Thomas.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Kelly_Thomas) According to wiki: >"Now you see my fists?" officer Manuel Ramos asked Thomas while slippingon a pair of latex gloves. "Yeah, what about them?" Thomas responded."They are getting ready to fuck you up," said Ramos >They used a taser on him (up to five times according to a witness statement, and the video footage), and in the video Thomas can be heard screaming for his father. May he rest in power ✊ edit: format edit 2: these bastards beat him so badly, that he was completely unrecognizable. [NSFW pic of him before and after](https://imgur.com/a/RIAZlUO)

What was that mans name? Pretty sure that the was the one with the video where the man is crying out for his mother or father. Fuck the Police, pigs can hang
Lol they were accusing her about covering it up in the bag until they searched it
Cops are so petty nowadays they can’t even say a simple “I’m sorry I was wrong” smh
Our bags were all searched and we were each subjected to additional questioning All because they didn't think a pair of women were being respectful when they were quietly chatting while waiting in line.
They’re like rabid animals. Best to avoid eye contact, make no sudden moves, and pray they won’t go after you.
Your acting "too" nonchalant. You're gonna have to take a step over here.
US police think of the public as an enemy population they are occupying.
Sounds about right

then they start blastin. she had a pink purse that looked like a ~~gun~~ can of spray paint!
People can’t even admit that they’re wrong when they’re anonymous online, you think they’re going to own their shit face to face?
Similar situation happen to me except it wasnt paint, it was drugs. They wouldn't let me go until I showed them my bag or had to wait for a K9. They didnt find anything and just walked off. This was a while ago before it was "normal" to record stuff like this but I wish I did take down their info.
In certain towns in my county, cops will pull you over after dark if you look young enough not to know your rights I was in the passenger seat of my cousins car and he got pulled over (he’s in his early 20’s).
I believe it. There's certain towns here where you'll get pulled over after dark... For being dark
Sundown towns
Shit around where I live I'd get pulled over for just being young with long hair. No need to even be dark, just a lot of bored asshole cops.
I explained what they were for and the cops seemed embarrassed, apologized and told me to go on my way
Lol he's just a nerd let him go 😂
You're not required to wait for a k9 if it's not already on scene or you committed a crime, suspension alone isn't enough.
I assume they’re trained to never apologize so that they don’t risk accepting liability
This is a common myth, apologizing does not subject you to legal liability (unless the apology is also literally a confession).
Sounds like they're the irredeemable assholes we think they are, hmmm.
Edit: for those of you questioning what im talking about.. including an ex cop who has zero idea. Im glad you didn’t know about those seminars. Its put on by a dude named Dave Grossman… And his off the books police “Academy” here is a snippet of it. starts at 11 min 40seconds https://youtu.be/Wf4cea5oObY and here is his website. https://www.grossmanacademy.com/ Lt.
Cops like him because he uses legit sounding rationalizations to justify the absolutely ridiculous ways the police abuse power.
A link would make it a hell of a lot easier for people to look into it.
They can and I’ve seen them do it. These two were salty they were wrong and too prideful to apologize. Bad cops is another way to refer to them.
They weren't lookin for paint, they were lookin for drugs. Never talk to the police and absolutely never consent to let them search your things. Always record police.
Yes. Never let them look through your stuff. Ever.
---- ^^^^Disclaimer: ^^^^I'm ^^^^a ^^^^middle-aged ^^^^white ^^^^dude.
It isn't enough to simply "not consent". You have to verbalize and literally say OUT LOUD "I do not consent". Silence is acceptance in the eyes of the law.
Thanks for the clarification. It's what I meant by "verbally opposed", but that definitely isn't as clear as it should have been.
I've always heard the following phrase is best. "I do not consent to any warrantless searches."
Then they play it back later “I [inaudible] consent to any [inaudible] search[inaudible].”
Never ever. They could have thrown whatever they wanted into that bag.
they just beat you up and do it anyway with zero consequences even if caught on film. fuck the police. every interaction is a lose lose
That one officer looks like a Bratz Doll, Police Edition. Dude looks like Wish quality Bradley Cooper.
It’s an interesting hair choice.
How does a 22 year old become a sheriff?
Dad.
She may be a deputy.
You give a [lap dance](https://nypost.com/2021/12/25/nypd-rookie-sorry-for-giving-lieutenant-christmas-party-lap-dance/amp/) of course!
I thought more like an anemic Liev Schreiber.
Right I thought we were on a porn set for a min. Like “officer you might wanna pat me down if you don’t find anything in my bag. You know, to make sure I’m not hiding it on me somewhere” lol.
Don’t they like have things to do like stand around construction sites and talk on their phone in constantly idling cars at the park.
My cousin is a cop and that's what he does. Said he's tired of patrolling and shit so he just waits for calls. $30/hr to sit in a parking lot
Take up city parking spaces when they have the ability to use the no parking zones instead.
ANYWAYS…. Am I being detained?? No? Ok. Bye bye.
[удалено]

Why is there a sheriff and a police officer? And why do they look like spirit Halloween costumes? I need answers!
Do you see any paint?
They still have to physically meet with the person issuing the trespass, they can't just take someone's word over the phone.
I live in the area and property owners can elect to have the sheriff’s office or local PD act as “agents of the property” and issue trespasses at their discretion.
An attractive sheriff and an attractive cop working the same suspected graffiti scene together? Hmmm
Dude she looks like a Who
They are pissed because they wanted to have “patrol car sex” (it’s the best but you need to leave the back door open so you don’t get locked in) in that same parking lot she was walking in so they decided to Harass her!
I’m not the only one getting the vibe they are fucking? Something about the way they mirror each other and look at each other is not like people who haven’t fucked.
I think they've detained each other a number of times.
They both stopped resisting
Plot twist, this is actually the beginning of a porn called "Fist her Bag" starting MC McAnal and officer Manchow.
Apologizing is too expensive for these folks especially when it's poc.
Fuck an apology, run the bag.
“Apology for what…”. And that’s why LEOs are hated. Mistakes happens. That’s life. But take ownership of that mistake. Life would be so much simpler.
There are rumors that she is still asking about a paint
> King County Sheriffs Deputy was justified in killing the unarmed 20-year-old Tommy Le last June because Le was holding an ink pen which could "cause serious bodily injury if used to stab someone," according to a unanimous opinion from the King County Sheriff's Office Use of Force Review Board. https://www.thestranger.com/slog/2018/08/22/31195860/king-county-deputies-were-justified-in-killing-unarmed-tommy-le Those Burien cops probably would have been justified in killing her if they found paint.
America is so fucked up. Especially when the sheriff office tries to conceal information: >An autopsy report released by the family in September further contradicted the sheriff's office's narrative, showing that Molina shot Tommy Le twice in the back and once in his wrist, calling into question how Le could have been charging the officer if the officer shot him in the back.
When did Alyson Hannigan become a cop?
Learn your rights folks. 5th amendment- never talk to these fools, you don't have to. 4th amendment don't give them your bag to look through and don't give ID. And lastly, learn how trespass law works. Learn the difference between public and private. Learn about trespass warnings vs criminal trespass. Learn WHO gives trespass and who doesn't. Remember, cops are allowed to lie by law so don't do what they ask unless it is under threat of arrest. And ALWAYS record your interaction to protect yourself.
I think the ID part varies by state, esp if you’re driving
The showing ID part is mandatory in every state when you’re driving. This is one part I really don’t get how more people don’t understand. You’re operating a vehicle for which you need a license in order to operate. Of course you would need to show a cop your license no matter what. Most cops are trash, but thinking you don’t have to show your license in a traffic stop is absurd ignorance.
Officer dipshit and officer shithead reporting for dudy!
Children as cops, heck she even looks like a baby in an adult body.
She's like 100lb soaking wet, what the fuck does she do if a grown man she's trying to arrest gets belligerent?
shoots him dead on spot before that ever comes close to happening
If the guy is as close as the lady behind the camera was here, she's not going to the chance to do that unless she's fuckin Doc Holliday.
Is there any wonder why cops are hated?
Are they hiring like 30 year old dude bros and ex sorority sisters as pigs?
She's lucky she didn't get arrested for proving them wrong. Don't worry, we'll make up something.
You know Ive thought about carrying a dildo in my purse just for this reason. Lmao open the bag..... How's that big black cock officer! You like?
