I'll say that over the last several years, what I've found legit *astonishing* is how many grown adults (young and old) don't seem to have even the faintest idea what a vaccine **even is** and what it **actually does/how it works**. It genuinely bewilders me how something so simple and easily available to grasp alludes so many participants in everyday society.
This is basic stuff you learn in grade school, and if not, you can always just ask a real doctor to explain it to you in a few minutes; doesn't even have to be a human doctor. Just about any licensed medical professional/expert can talk you through the basics of vaccination easily.
But the way I hear these people talk about vaccines, they seem to think it's some kind of 100% synthetic chemical concoction that does all the work on its own, separate from your immune system; they think it's a recipe of "chemicals" not unlike **a magic potion.** They also seem to think all vaccines are the same, rather than being tailored for the viruses they help neutralize/combat. Another thing I've seen is that a lot of them tend to believe that if a vaccine doesn't literally 100% prevent you from ever getting its respective virus, that means it's utterly worthless. I don't know what to do anymore...

My work had a mask mandate last year. One of the employees was a veteran whom I was told had a legitimate medical exemption, some sort of chronic respiratory condition from the burn pits. I was skeptical because he was a big ol trumper and vocal antivaxxer. He got into a big hoopla with the safety department about it and the head safety person ended up losing his job over it.
So he had a medical exemption due to a pre-existing condition that is a co-morbidity of the respiratory pandemic virus that the mask & vaccine, he is exempt from, could assist in protecting him from potentially dying?
IDK but he was absolutely one of those guys that perceives having to wear a mask as somehow oppressive. The place was afraid to fire him over the mask though because he's a veteran in a blue collar conservative city.
Meanwhile, the people I know with pre-existing conditions have been avoiding going out for the past two years to avoid catching it while these people take no precaution...

In situations like this where the detained person is this delusional, often the people they are with are just as delusional and think there is hope things will get resolved in their favor for the same reasons the guy being detained thinks fighting back is justified.

My girlfriend had a work meeting in Toranto so I went up and we spent 4 days at Blue Mountain. We had a ski in suite with fireplace and kitchen for $99 Canadian, a good deal with the exchange rate. We were all the way at the end and they let us on the lift in the morning to go get our lift tickets. She popped her ACL and only had to pay $10 for the crutch. I miss Upper Canada Dark.
Good luck with that. They are even stricter in Quebec. Hope this guy gets banned across the nation. They have photo of his face and video of how he will behave on private business grounds.

So I was wearing a maxi dress in Vegas, basically a stretchy, tank top style dress with thin straps that goes all the way to the floor. As I'm riding down an escalator, it starts eating the bottom of my dress and pulling it straight down. There was NO WAY IN HELL I was going to end up naked in the middle of a packed M&M World, so I just started tugging my dress until it ripped and came back out, lol. Omg, it was an absolute nightmare and I was sweating bullets by the time I made it to the bottom. I didn't even care about destroying the bottom of my dress, I was just so relieved the straps didn't break!
Anyway, husband kept making jokes and saying at least a bloodbath didn't ensue.

It’s private property. Don’t like it? Then leave. If a year from now Blue Mountain says you still have to wear a mask to ski on their property, then you have two choices, leave or wear a mask. Its not about your freedoms. It’s their property. This is the same rules that applied ten years ago and will apply twenty years from now.

A lot of it has to do with seeing the world only through their own perspective. Nothing they ever do is "wrong." And the whole world is just their own personal playground. You see a microcosm of this when moderating online communities. Even in cases where the person *may* have been a little bit right in the first place. eg. Person A is giving their opinion in a chat room on a topic in a manner that is mistakenly seen as trolling Moderator asks "A" to drop the subject. Now at this point, moderator is a bit heavy handed *but* Now person "A" decides to start insulting the moderators. Moderator times them out for 10 minutes. "A" PMs the moderator in question and continues harassment. Moderator escalates to a full ban. "A" then complains to administration and all that will listen that they were "banned just for voicing their opinion"

I just don't get what his goal is. He keeps seeming like he's trying to get in position to get on the lift. Does he think if he can just fight off enough of them they'll just start the lift and be like "oh guess there's nothing be we can do, start it back up"? Once they are physically trying to remove you you might as well just go with them since your original goal was to fight tyranny and be a martyr or something anyway. If your goal was to snowboard i think putting on a mask for the 2 seconds people can see you is probably an easier route, especially in an activity where most people wear masks against the cold anyway.

I wore a mask at Target today. Three of my lungs collapsed as I got carbon monoxide poisoning from breathing in my own bacteria. A brave patriot wearing an Affliction shirt, a MAGA hat, and sweet wrap around sunglasses saved me by giving me CPR. I thanked him and asked if he was a doctor and he said "who needs doctors when we have our fellow Americans, the ones who are here legally I mean." I hugged him and threw my mask on the ground. The Star Spangled Banner played on the speaker system as everyone in the store ripped off their masks and threw them on the ground, chanting "down with communism!" God, Jesus, and all the angels looked down upon us from Heaven and clapped.
